The location of this hotel is great but that's the only good thing about it. The rooms are FILTHY. There was hair all over the bathroom and shower upon entering the room, as well as dirty tissues which were on the bathroom counter. I notified the front desk and the younger Indian gentleman working said he would have it removed. It never was. When I spoke to Sam at the front desk about it the next day he was very rude and said "I should have left the hotel when I saw the mess". The carpet in the rooms look like they're older than NYC itself and have never been cleaned. I cut my foot open and was bleeding when I stepped on a piece of glass on the disgusting floor. Again when i mentioned this to Sam he was no help and not sympathetic at all. DO NOT STAY HERE!

This is the worst experience in my life. This hotel I’m sure was a homeless shelter, otherwise I don’t get why is so smelly and dirty. On our second night the toilet got flooded, so all our room was wet including our luggage and shoes. We asked for help and nobody fixed it or cleaned it. We had to use our towels to do it and then find new and clean towels by our own. Almost all the staff does not speak good English so is very frustrating to communicate. On our 3rd night we notice that we got bedbugs, we asked to change the room, we were crying trying to find another hotel in NYC but last minute hotels costs you a fortune so we stayed but it was disgusting. We are hopping that we didn’t bring the bedbugs to our homes. On our 3rd night the elevator didn’t work so we had to go upstairs 7th floors, when we did it our room key wasn’t working, so we had to go down and up again. Adding to all this, the room supposed to include breakfast, they don’t even have a restaurant. Please save your money and never stay in this place. The experience you will have is gonna ruin your vacations.

The location was great, super close to the metro which was ideal for going into Manhattan. The front desk was receptive if we had any questions and were always available. The bed and bathroom was clean and comfortable. Some downs were that it did smell like smoke in the halls and that the shower jumped between hot and cold without a temperate middle and the carpeting in our room was dirty in appearance. I would totally stay here again because of the location, price and clean bed because those are the most important parts to me.

Not worth the $188 that I have paid, feels like a like $50 hotel. Distinct smoke smell in lobby and room. Smoke alarm is covered with plastic bags, how is this even legal!! Hair from previous residents on towel, maybe house cleaning don't bother washing them. Toilet seat had pee stains. Empty facial tissue box to name a few things in restroom. Bed sheets have burn marks... See the images. I booked through Expedia and they were also not helpful. STAY AWAY, SPEND YOU MONEY ELSEWHERE.

Great price and location. Close to the train. They were friendly at the desk. The room was a good size too. The room didn't seem very clean, the carpet was stained, it looked like mold in the shower. A good deal if you don't plan on spending a lot of time in the room.

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The bathroom sink was dirty, there wasn’t a shower curtain in the shower, the AC barely worked and to top it off the carpet was stained with God knows what. The smoke alarm was also missing from the room which not only is illegal but is grossly unsafe. To top it off the front desk staff were unwelcoming and dismissive, which really isn’t great customer service. Really unsettling for LIC. Also, not worth the price of $150+ per night. What an absolute joke.

Dirty room! I canceled my reservation after seeing the condition of the room. You are better off spending the extra 10 or 15 dollars and stay in one of the other hotels near by. I stayed at the Quality Inn . The room was clean and renovated several other hotels on the same block.

You get what you pay for, and if you paid more than $90/night here your getting ripped off. Pros: the sheets were clean, the bed was comfortable, I didn't see any evidence of bed bugs, the AC worked, and the WiFi worked, barely. Cons: the carpet was disgusting, basically everything has extreme signs of wear and tear, the door was hilariously misaligned, the mirror was cracked, the dresser was missing knobs, etc. (See photos)

One room was 200 dollars. The lobby staff were friendly and answered all questions. The hotel is near the metro and downtown. It also has a great view from the top floors. It has a nice bathroom, mirror, deskchair and table. But the TV was broken, the aircon was dusty, our set of drawers were half broken, the ceiling was so damaged, the wooden planks were visible. The windows were also really dirty with water marks. There is no parking around the hotel either for guests. The carpet in the rooms are soooo dirty, that if you put your bare feet on it, it will turn black with dust and dirt. So I will give it 2 stars because of all these reasons.

This was the WORST hotel experience I have ever heard in my life. Please I am begging you do NOT stay here not matter how tight money is. Upon arriving the front desk person told me I didn’t have a reservation. I gave them my last name and ID and they told me I wasn’t in the system. It wasn’t until I read them everything from their own website where I had a booking ID and everything that they get me a room key. No apology for the inconvenience, very reluctant to admit to being wrong After getting a room keg we went to go into the room only to find the door locked from the inside because someone was already sleeping there. We had to go back downstairs and get a new room key. Finally entering our room it was the worst thing I’ve ever seen. A horror director from Hollywood could not have built a worse room. Cigarette/other holes caused by burns, Stains everywhere on the carpet, broken mirror, liquid (blood?) splattered on the wall, stained sheets, and a broken door lock. I know typically people say “you get what you pay for” but no human being should have to pay for this low of quality.

This is the worst hotel I've been to so far. When I walked into the hotel, there was a lingering scent of cigarettes. Even though, the front desk said this hotel was non-smoking. It will still make its way into your room. Mind you, it was sticky, humid summer weather. We expected the room to be cool with air conditioning. Nope. Walk right in and its humid and sticky. The A/C is even weaker than general use small fans. The bathroom seat was not clean(pee stains) and there were leftover tissues on the floor. We checked the bed sheets and there were multiple stains. This was a dirty room and I do not recommend coming to this place.

This place is no longer a hotel, it is a homeless shelter. I arrived two weeks ago to find that all reservations had been cancelled and i needed to arrange another place to stay. The hotel didn't even send me an email to tell me my reservation had been cancelled. They still have not paid back the money i had paid in advance. This was the most dismal and unprofessional display i've seen from any hotel anywhere in the world. Do not book here under any circumstances.

I have to echo others’ comments: my husband booked this hotel, at which we’ve stayed when under different management. Do not make his mistake. He was informed, upon arrival, that breakfast was no longer offered. Our TV remote does not work. I told him to call the front desk for batteries. He said the staff were so surly that he would prefer not to bother. The bathroom is not clean. Linens and carpet are stained. Walls and fridge look as if coffee has been flung on or spilled in them. Fridge also has a glacier on its weary cooling element. There is duct tape in the sink and on a wall. The glass over one decorative print is broken, as is the soap dish. Two of the three dresser drawers lack pulls. The room and hallway reek of cigarettes and pot. The front desk, which is intermittently staffed, features a sign informing guests that this is now a cash-only business. Need I say more?

This hotel is super convenient! Theres a store right next door if you need anything, several train/subway stations within blocks of every direction. The guy at the front desk was nice and pretty cool too. Rooms could be cleaner, but my two night stay went issue-free and that’s all I could ask for! Microwave and Fridge in the room too. I’m satisfied.

RUN - RUN - RUN Don't go there. The sheets are dirty, stained and dirty. The comforter looks like it has never been washed. The carpet smells and is dirty (I found human nails!). The bathroom seems to have never been cleaned: hair in the sink when we arrived, the walls sticky and the whole place is dirty. A real catastrophe this hotel. It should not even be allowed to be open. I regularly go to hotels (at least a hundred) and I have never seen this in my life. In 4 days, our room was never cleaned, despite my requests. We had no bath products, no towels. And at night, a lot of noise, especially from the hotel employees. It's a shame. Run away from !!!!

The only good thing about this place was the bed. Nasty carpet the air conditioning was filthy had to wash it just to use it Furniture old scratched up broken pieces fire alarm not even attached to the wall found it in a draw they advertise breakfast there was none oh and there was one other thing the staff was friendly but when asking them for a second towel because there was only one in the room they said they would bring it up and they never did don't stay here is my only advice it also noticed a huge stain on the bed

Located in a place where it’s easy to access transportation, and that’s about it. The room we got was ok. For the price paid, the wear and tear on some of the things in the room like the toilet, tub, and carpet was too much. Would not recommend staying because I believe you can find a bit before for the price you pay here, but if you want a place just to lay your head and get straight to business without any of the glamor, this is it.

This is the worst hotel I have ever seen in my life. The staff were so rude and were becoming violent while asking why the room wasn’t ready. After checking in, we had to wait for about an hour to get the room when it was supposed to already be ready. The room and bathroom itself were dirty and smelly. Highly recommend not to go there and waste your time and money.

On July 31 we booked a stay for this last weekend.. We had no communication from the hotel that anything had changed. When we go to check in they tell us they're no longer accepting reservations (What???) but we could go to the hotel 2 blocks up the road and would be accommodated there. We go to the hotel they directed us to and had to prove our reservation because they had zero communication with Queens County Inn and Suites. It was a mess and the other hotel was NOT something we would have booked. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BOOK HERE. They are now a shelter. Edit: I see your response - did that come from a bot? How does your answer even make sense?

Please AVOID BOOKING THIS HOTEL because it DOES NOT EXIST ANYMORE. When I arrived the hotel at late night on 8/26/2022, the guard of the hotel building told me that the hotel has been sold as a shelter, so the hotel doesn't exist anymore. Therefore, I had to find an alternative hotel to stay during midnight, while standing outside the hotel building (obviously the guard didn't allow me to check in). I also contacted Agoda at that time (I booked this hotel through Agoda), but Agoda customer service didn't even know that this hotel doesn't exist anymore, so I had to find an alternative hotel on my own at 1am. Either the hotel didn't inform the hotel booking agent or the hotel booking agent didn't inform the customer (both are unacceptable). I decide to share my experience such that hopefully no more people will fall victim to this hotel scams anymore.

Rooms are ok for the price. Good location. No remote for the TV. Bed sheets had stains on it. Pillows are super small, for like a child. Front end staff barley talked, just took money and gave us keys. Kinda odd. Not to mention no breakfast, the website clearly states breakfast. I was told they took that away three years ago. Hmmm 🤔.. I think it’s a gimmick to get you in.

A great deal for the budget-conscious NYC visitor. Not in Manhattan, but super close to midtown and the 7,N,W,E,F,M,R subway trains are all within walking distance. Elevators not perfect but still reasonably fast. Clean and the bed was comfortable. The main reason I deducted a star is because the smoke detector in my room was disconnected.

Good room for the price. Good location. Staff was polite. My friend and I stayed here for his birthday. We came from Portland Oregon. After I read some of the reviews I was apprehensive about staying here. I'm glad I at least gave it a chance.

Good for the price, but pretty beat up. My room had broken outlets, light, ac cover, sink, towel holder, and everything was dingy. Not terrible for the price, and convenient to the subway. It wouldn't be my first choice, but I would stay again if it's cheap enough. I saw a guest and staff trying to solve a dispute with police, but I had no issues.

-smoke alarm wasn't there. -TV didn't work no remote (cable outlet cover was cracked) -burns in the duvet cover -bathroom door didn't lock -no bathroom toiletries -had to use cell phone to call front deck because room phone didn't work (let front desk know that we needed extra towels they said we'd have to go down and pick them up, and that maintenance left for the evening)

First I asked for non-smoking, but smelt cigs all night. The carpet had burns and was filthy. The walls were coming apart, furniture missing parts. I had to cut my stay short..never again!!!

I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. Rooms was dirty and smell like cigarettes. I payed for a city view of the city and all I saw was people backyard and the top of the Manhattan buildings. No Good review of Manhattan. I arrived to the first room and window was opened. I guess to air out the smell. TV didn't have much channels on it. Toilet barely flushed and Toilet bowl was stained up. I woke up to bedbugs in the bed. I spoke to front desk staff and complained about it. The first staff who I spoke to was very nice and suggested that I change rooms. When I called to speak to a Manager I was told that there are no Manager on the premises by Chris. He showed no empathy to my concerns. I eventually came back later and spoke to another staff who suggested that I change rooms. Second room was a little cleaner I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel

The room was very dirty. The bedding wasn’t changed after previous tenants. I wouldn’t stay here ever. Dust everywhere. Carpet is stained.

Had to ask multiple times to have our room serviced or to get towels for the bathroom before they got it done and it usually wouldn't get done until the end of the day if done at all. They weren't serving breakfast do to covid which we weren't notified about until we got the the hotel. There were wine stains on the carpet and multiple drawers were missing handles, but the beds were clean and the location was great for travelling the subway

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER Our booking was not as advertised. There was no free breakfast, which was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel in the first place to make our stay easier. They also advertise a gym which is not open. The air-conditioning in our room did not seem to work properly, and we had no controls for it. The bathroom light would come on randomly through the night and the toilet would randomly flush. Worse yet, we had approx $1000 worth of items stolen from our room. We first realised the items were missing about 3:30am Friday morning 20th May. We were up early for a tour we had booked to Washington. We Alerted reception to the incident immediately, but couldn't stay long as we would have missed the tour. So we asked them to look into it and we would be back that evening. Upon return that evening, they had not even begun trying to look into the issue. and we were simply told that no-one had been in our room as there were no housekeeping services. The staff were not at all sympathetic. Eventually they told us the would try and get the key to the cameras. and to come back in half an hour. Upon returning we were told that they now wouldn't do anything until the morning and we should just call 911. The police came about 12:30 am Saturday morning and we made our report. We checked out that morning and didn't receive so much as an apology, Extremely disappointed with the stay here and how we were treated. I can honestly stay this was the worst hotel experience of my life and I will absolutely be telling everyone i can to not stay here.
