Cozy and quiet. I like that they clean the room every day. I asked to check out 1 hour later because I had a zoom interview and the hotel staff was very nice. The only problem is that there're homeless around the train station.

Awful place. The gentleman that works the front desk during the day is very rude, has no professional skills. I had to step out to go to the bank real fast. When I came back he had already checked me out with my stuff in a corner desk. I checked to make sure my belongings where there, but too only find out who ever packed my stuff stole my phone charger. I should have called the authorities, but it’s just a charger which I have more back home. Never again will I go there. I didn’t even want to give a star because they don’t even deserve that much.

The front desk person was very rude, as if we were interrupting him in the middle of something very important. Giant moths were crawling all over the lobby floor. The first room they put us in was on the 4th floor, and the elevator ride was scary. It seemed as if it hadn't been maintained for years, groaning and shuddering, half the buttons broken or missing (including the fire department emergency buttons). When we walked in the room, it was freezing and smelled very strongly of cigarettes, and one of the windows was literally missing (and it's a long way down on the 4th floor) which was why it was so cold in the room, and explained the wet carpet. When we went back down to the front desk (because the in-room phone didn't work, so I don't know why they say they have room service), the guy was even more agitated , huffing and sighing and slamming things around and saying as few words as possible. The next room was decent, however. Still tiny, and this phone didn't work either, but at least it smelled better, the lights worked, and it had all the windows. I will not stay here again.

Worst hotel experience ever, was forced to stay at this place because of a flight delay due to a storm in NY. I was shocked to see a jacuzzi right next to the bed, at that moment I realized that place was was a bad choice. The bed was dirty with stained bed covers, the bathroom was even worse and the staff gave off a strange vibe. I only managed to get three hours of sleep. Luckily I did not get any bed bug bites. If google allowed negative stars, I would have given this place a negative star, one star is too generous. I will not recommend this place to anyone,

Worst ! Worst worst. This is not a Hotel Motel . This is a nasty toilet. They use fake pictures in the website and give you false information. The nastiest environment you can get in New York. Bed bug and mice droppings give you another experience. And also some illigal things I noticed that violet building code -i took pictures and wil submit for inspection. It says ‘non smoking’ but everywhere smoking smells and fire alarms are intentionally taken away.Besides these you can notice paint chips and lead .If you needed for emergency, it's better to stay overnight on the street. Broken furniture in the room . Dirty bed and blankets and bad smells give you unhealthy invironment. Rude customer Service.

The front desks guys were very nice and very accommodating- I had just been thru hours and hours and hours of extreme airport stress with all night airplane delays and was able to get a room at 2:30 in the morning!!!! The place is classic, no frills and right out of an old Robert Mitchum movie! ( in fact if you were looking for a wonderfully odd film location THIS is your place!) I found the tiny room to be very clean and I just laughed at the couple of little cigarette burn holes on one of the clean top blankets altho it says no smoking …but i did not smell any hint of cigarettes anywhere. The AC unit is noisy but its that white noise I like to help me zone into sleep mode. Bathroom was marble and tile modernized clean… (wish it had been more vintage actually )They kindly called a cab for me next morning. This was the classic cheap clean hotel that was a valuable “port in a storm” that I would recommend to any Bohemian traveler like myself - i did not see any signs of bugs. May we never lose these old places in NYC that are still affordable to the average Joe.

The behavior of the front desk workers are horrible. They don't care about money here they care about who makes them front desk workers feel worthy. Want to feel worthy- work with royalty or something idk. But they're affordable- assumed I'm poor and with people like this even with their nasty attitudes I wouldn't sleep with any of you for 1 star hotel rooms. That's what it seems like- they assume I don't have which if I didn't why would I be paying- and as if I owe them something- all I owe you is an I'd card- cause I paid online and a greeting- oh wait you all owe me a greeting- that's called customer service.

The rooms were spacious and clean but location was loud. They did jack hammering at like 2 am and I couldn't sleep.

To begin, the man at the front desk was very disrespectful. I had to let him know that my tv wasn’t working and that it was pretty inconvenient that I had to relay this message to him face to face since the phone in the room wasn’t working either. Then he had the nerve to tell me I only paid $95. How rude can you’d be. To top everything off. The room was filthy, bathroom lights were not working. Everything was in shambles thank God it’s only 1 night. 0/10 would not recommend keep your money please

The worst experience I had staying at a so called 3 star hotel. First experience before getting into the room was attempting to open the door, and the door lock was not working. It took multiple staff members to get into the room. I got into the room, but the door lock was not fixed at all. Once I finally got into the room, none of the lights would turn on. I wanted to call the hotel service to complain about the lights not working, but when I tried to, the phone wire was cut off from the wall. The bed sheets and pillow covers were also incredibly smelly and not washed, nor were the towels in the bathroom clean. And the worse of it all was seeing roaches in the bathroom and room freely roaming around. There was no hot water in the bathroom as well. I was barely able to sleep, nor did I feel comfortable sleeping in a room with so many problems. I will not advice anyone to stay at this hotel at all.

This is not a 3 star hotel lmao. It smells like smoke everywhere in the building, in the halls, in the rooms. Not clean. Mattress has spots on the sides and corners. There's rust in the room, and hall. The lobby person only accepted cash. Lmao imagine staying here for multiple days and having to pay hundreds/thousands in cash. Didn't see bedbugs. If you just need a place to sleep for a day cheaply, then whatever. There's nothing good here except you have a room to sleep with a working door and bathroom. However I'm leaving 2 stars because even though it's bad, it could be worse. Would recommend going somewhere else.
