Hi guys I usually don’t do reviews but I have to with this hotel so I was flying back from Europe an 8 hour flight keep in mind and booked this hotel days in advance they took my money so that money was missing from my account I talked with my booking agency to confirm it was not there fault and was told it was on the hotels fault. So what happened was they took my money days in advance, accepted my reservation, so it was confirmed I’ll have a room waiting for me, then they ended up refunding my money back to the booking agency the day of my reservation literally 5 hours before my flight was landing and I would be coming to the hotel to my room. Then obviously as everyone knows takes days to get that money back to your bank account therefore you’re out of that money for period of time. As well as having to try find hotel on the spot which as everyone knows is not easy to do near airport. What I can assume is I was getting a good deal on my room however someone else was paying more so they decided to refund me back and take the person paying more DO NOT GIVE THIS HOTEL YOUR MONEY because they might leave you stranded at airport hours before u arrive at there hotel they are not safe to book with as they are unreliable and steal peoples money so if your getting low price on room might as well not book with them because there going to cancel your reservation 3-5 hours before you arrive at there hotel your better off going to near by hotels by them pay little more and get better service and a nicer stay, trash service and a trash hotel I hope this helps people not have go through what I had to it was awful. There’s reason this hotel has so many bad reviews because it really is a horrible hotel !

I was so disappointed in this hotel. My flight was rerouted to JFK and I chose this hotel, thinking it would be an affordable, clean option from the hotel list at the airport. The staff was nice and the front desk clerk was willing to give me a discount because my stay was very short. However, the hotel and rooms smelt like smoke/ weed and all looked to be in serious need of a good clean and repair. Walls, hallways, and hallway floors were dirty. I didn't feel safe in the room or area. The room was clean, but I didn't feel comfortable in it. I reluctantly slept in the bed because I was so tired. I was sad that there was no breakfast offered, even though there appeared to be a restaurant and "breakfast room" there. (I don't know for sure as I left the hotel early to catch my flight.) I was grateful that the airport shuttle was free at least.

I'm not going to sugarcoat this. I feel I had to post a review. This place is not for the weak of heart. And it's misrepresented online. I paid over $100 to stay here and it's really not worth more than $50 and only because it's close to the airport. If you have a women with you or children I do not recommend unless you are used to slummy areas. Not derogatory just accurate. That's what the Inn is like. The people who work there are friendly enough and humbly embarrassed. It's not their fault. But the property is basically a slum. When I walked in there was a couple trying to decide on another place to stay because they couldn't handle the room. I checked in through bulletproof glass and when I got to the room nothing worked. I counted eight health and safety violations inside the room and I used to work for a hotel chain. If you need a place near the airport and are desperate this is your place. But it's not worth more than 50 bucks a night. I feel like I should have gotten a partial refund on what I paid.

THEFT THEFT The person stoled my device ended up at this location for forever. Apparently employee. No phone working. After seeing those reviews, I can see what kind of hotel it is and the person is. LOL I know where you live Bay Parkwy, hanging out in Jamaica at night.

How rate a cheap hotel? Certainly not by the standards of the finest establishments. My bed was very comfortable. It was quiet (not the case for rooms by the truck or bus terminal). The shower gave hot water. Actually the bathroom was nice. Nothing was smelly. No insect pests. They provided transportation to the airport. My interactions were pleasant w the staff and other guests I talked to. I didn’t feel unsafe. The carpet and wallpaper were very tired however. The place is seedy but it worked for me just fine.

It just sucked.. Beds were dirty and stains all over. There was bad odor in the room. No hand soap in the bathroom. No wifi.. Only one charging port. I guess they don't usually clean the bed sheets in a while. Although they were nice enough to offer ride from and to airport.

The worst hotel in the world definitely not worth 209 a night. This place is worse than a hostel. The room 307 was like a murder scene. I pulled the sheets back and there was like dry old blood all over the box spring cigarette burns on the carpet and the curtains roomed smelled a mess. Sheets had stains on them. I slept fully clothed on top of two towels with my hood on. I had the audacity to pull the sheet protector back on the mattress and Omg the stains and smell almost killed me. At this point the department of health should be called. I complained and was given back my money I give this a negative 0 stars this place should be shut down. Beware enter at your own risk

If it wasn’t in New York it’ll only be about 50$ a night. Hotel is beat down dirty smells like cigarettes. The water for the sink and shower was brown when you first turn it on. The only good thing about this place is that it’s right next to JFK airport so if you have absolutely no other choice this is probably the cheapest place you can find close to the airport. Also the staffs were cool.

The nicest thing I can say is I liked our cleaning lady. * The Police asked had we called them whilst we were standing in the lobby. When they were told we were just checking in the officer replied "Sorry to hear that." * No fire alarm in the room. *Couldn't see out of the window. *Non smoking room smelled like an ashtray. *Shower water goes from scorching to freezing several times during a shower.

I am absolutely enraged at the dishonesty of this business and the staff's willingness to put a teenager in danger just to pocket money!! My 18 year old son's flight was cancelled and when he arrived at the hotel, told him their card machine was broken and he would need to pay cash!!????? So, he went walking around downtown Queens after midnight looking for an ATM to withdraw $250 cash!!!! Yes, the hotel told him it was $250 fir a room that is listed for closer to $100! The fact that they wanted cash tells you what they did with the extra money. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!!!! And that's not even speaking of the room quality. They gave him a room with an unmade bed and literally dirt all over the chair and floor. This hotel should be shut down. If I could give less than one star I would!!

I didnt wanna sleep IN the bed but I was so tired I slept on the bed, the room was decently cleaned just needs new everything. The staff was super nice from the night guy to the shuttle driver...I work in a hotel so I know how hard it can be to be nice to difficult people but these guys were really good, happy, upbeat, cheerful and really nice. Shows that management/owners are good, but a little cheap. U gotta spend money to make money and the location of this place is convenient and decent, property just needs attention :)

Stay if you absolutely have no choice This is a run down hotel which has seen better days. The rooms and furniture are threadbare, the carpets are dirty, the air conditioner is broken, but worked. There was only one power outlet for the entire room. In such a creepy place, you want chains in your door. That had been removed. The parking lot is overflowing all the time, parking is quite difficult. The WIFI barely works. It is close to the airport - that is the only saving grace, and it is cheap. Give this place a pass.

For how cheap this place was to reserve, I was expecting our room to be really gross but our flight was cancelled and we were desperate. We were so happy they had a shuttle to give us a free ride to the hotel from the airport. The woman working at the reception desk was fast and efficient, and the room was surprisingly clean. We had stayed in a 4 star hotel in Manhattan that was dirtier. The sheets and blankets looked well washed and the mattresses was comfortable enough. There were vending machines near our room with really good prices and a lot of options. I was honestly impressed overall with our experience. I believe they deserve more than 2 stars.

Absolutely disgusting place. They advertise $80/night but we've up paying $160 for a very gross room with five cockroaches! Yes we saw five and then freaked out and kept the lights on all night. On the upside check in/out was very simple and we stored our car there for the week after we flew out of jfk which was cheap and convenient. No there parking was great but rooms were terrible.

I only stayed a few hours because I landed too early to check into my Airbnb and needed a shower and nap. None of the issues I read about were a thing in my room. It was clean, smelled good, and was quiet. The front desk people were quick and friendly. Would I stay longer term? No. It lacked ammenities that "nicer" places have like drinking water and it was a touch rundown. Would I come if I had a layover and minimal funds? Sure.

Unfortunately I can’t put less than one star. PHOTOS & VIDEOS PROVIDED! I ordered this place on Expedia! Paid $402 for 3 nights in advance. I did not stay there because of the below written but neither the hotel nor the Expedia did not return my money. This place is not only terrible, it’s almost dangerous for your health and life! There are a lot of violations of state laws and sanitary conditions. The whole hotel (if this chicken coop can be called a hotel) is very dirty, even the bed linen was dirty. There are cigarette burn holes on the bed, dirt from previous guests. Traces of chemicals are visible throughout the room with the naked eye. The air conditioner turns on and off every fifth second without stopping and does it with a loud sound! There are no instructions on the door for evacuation in case of fire! The fire detector was completely turned off and the batteries removed! In the shower, hot and cold water is not stable and the temperature can change at any second. Nowhere to hang toilet paper. No hangers or wardrobe. TV didn't work. All the walls are damaged. The toilet door did not close and the main door of the room was closed from the inside with an ancient lock. And all these violations in New York, USA, when various dangerous viruses for health develop around the world. This place should be blocked in all sites like Booking and Expedia. If not, then they knowingly support scammers.

I booked a parking for my car as I was flying out through JFK. The employee lied and said that he doesn't drive to airport anymore. I explained to him that was not stated on Way app at time of booking. He claimed it was (2nd lie). Luckily, I drove to hotel very early so I had time to book parking somewhere else and went to Prime park. I am still waiting to get refund from Way app. Don't park your car there. Place is very fishy and service is despicable. Shame on you for taking advantage of travelers.

Place is a total rip off. When we booked our stay, a couple of months ago, we also booked long term parking. When we confirmed our stay two weeks ago, we were told that the man we had spoken to no longer worked there, and had not put us down for the parking, and it was no longer available. We made other arrangements for parking, but did not cancel the room, which included a free breakfast. When we actually showed up, we found that the place was a dump. Also, despite the huge sign, proclaiming "FREE BREAKFAST", outside the motel, we were informed that they had no food service, free or otherwise. One more thing, they did not honor their advertised price. On a positive note, the ceiling did not fall down on us.

The JFK Inn is not what's being advertised if you need something affordable and doable. This is the place. They claim to offer breakfast, but no breakfast is available. The area is suspect. The rooms are by no means clean and not safe to be in(my option). Customer Service was okay but be prepared for anything. Bring your sheets is highly recommend, and some air fresher as well.

Very cheap. So you basically pay for the worst of the worst. Everything is horrible. I literally got a refund less than 3mins after entering the room. Bugs everywhere. This place is a definite hell no. Never again

They took my money I never stayed there and been in dispute with my bank to get my money back from them. They MADE UP yes MADE UP false documents and false receipts and even emails to my bank that I never ever got and told my bank I am not getting a refund after they told me my refund its being processed and will take 5 to 7 days. This is from April 12 and TODAY I have gotten nothing from them and is still in dispute with them through my bank!. DO NOT GO!!!! DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY

I was there with my 3 daughters! It was not safe! The lower rooms Didn’t have fire alarms the windows were boarded up from the outside! The bed sheets were disgusting and to top things off there was a whole episode of cheaters next door to us! A couple screaming and yelling at each other. I asked to move rooms and they did but couldn’t provide extra bed sheets or towels and the cleanliness of the room was still the same. NASTY! Never again!

I can’t believe this place is open for business. Got a broken down van as a shuttle, fine, I can cope. I got there and there was a line of people complaining about the rooms and how they wanted a refund. I got stuck on level 1 (basement) with no elevators in the building. All stairs, good luck. My room has a pair of dirty socks, unclean bathroom, unclean bedsheets, and hair on everything. (See pics) I slept ON TOP of the comforter because sheets were dirty, and got out as fast as I could.

Easily the worst room I've ever stayed in. The water was the color of mud, the carpeting was tattered and stained, but the worst part of my experience was the staff. The lady with the attitude at the front desk rolled her eyes at me and my friends multiple times when all we wanted was for someone to check out the water situation. While attempting to get a refund, the staff said I was lying about the entire ordeal, despite having photo and videos. I will never return.

You get what you pay for and you do not pay much for a room. Hotel would not honor Hotel.com rate causing hour delay in checking in. Property is at the bottom end of the scale, needed a major renovation about 10 years ago. Shuttle service was great.

  • 1/5 Muhammad Agneza A. 1 year ago on Google
Stayed here after a mishap at the JFK and was denied boarding. Did not expect much from the price and previous rating. Unfortunately, my expectations were met. Everything about the lobby, staff and room is awful. The carpet was filthy. The worst part is the lights in the bathroom and one in the room are motion activated only. So you're gonna wake someone up when going to the bathroom at 3 in the morning. Not recommended.

The free shuttle service to/from the airport was nice. I would not bring my family here. No complementary breakfast as advertised, just a pot of coffee that had been simmering all day. There was no elevator. Not safe to go outside after dark. My room was is bad condition, wallpaper peeling, furniture falling apart. Would not recommend.

Don't forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a resort. This site will compare hundreds of booking websites and usually will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is one of the highest rated in this area. I have been staying here for a very long time. If you choose this place you for sure won't be let down. The hotel was only 3 minute drive from the jfk airport and it was very clean the bed was very comfortable and clean. They also provide the shuttle to the airport which is amazing. If I visit New York I will definitely get a room in this hotel

This place is sad. It reeks of mold. Beds on top of wood. Cement wall exposed in bathroom. The only thing making me feel safe while I lookup somewhere to escape to is my mask. I feel sick and degraded.

If I could give them a negative star rating I would! Please do not stay here. My boyfriend & I’s stay was absolutely horrible! Our room was INFESTED with roaches. Our towels in the bathroom were dirty but still folded up in the bathroom. We were only able to bare one night here. By the time the sun had risen we were on our way out. I’m not surprised that they don’t do refunds! The place smelled like cigarettes & mold, even the floors were disgusting! Save your money!

  • 1/5 jntwenty4 2 years ago on Google
I respectfully do not recommend this hotel. First walking in, you can feel the energy sucked out of you. I realized why they don’t do refunds. This is because a lot of people are going to want a refund. First night in, was the only night of 4 that my girlfriend and I spent there. After the first night, we packed our things and went to another hotel IMMEDIATELY! Even the wait to get the second hotel was better than staying in the first one. I tried to accept it, but truthfully could not. If you can spend the money elsewhere, do so.

If you respect yourself and your family don't go to this place even for free!!!!! Bad administration, bad customer service and everything you read at the description online is not true! No breakfast no coffee no respect... You will hear all the time people fighting with the customer service. The light from the police cars gets through the windows’ rooms because police are either looking for someone or something bad happened! Overall, everything is awful and this place is not safe at all!!

Don't stay here there are cockroaches everywhere in the room. Don't sleep with the light off. Roaches in your stuff. Nasty. The worker were nice. Management not so much. Save you money sleep in the airport.

The only good thing about this place was the location. It's very close to JFK. Stayed for a night here as I had to catch an early flight out of JFK. The staff are good. Checkin process was smooth and the room was quiet. But the room had a very bad smell. I choose a non-smoking room and still found the smell was too harsh.

We booked about two months in advance to stay one night during a layover at new York through Expedia. Less than eight hours before we arrived, and while waiting in the airport for our flight to new York, they cancelled our reservations. They promised to book us another room at no additional cost, but when we landed in New York, we had received no emails, the new hotel they had promised to book us at had no reservations for us, and, adding insult to injury, they refused to answer our calls, picking up and then immediately hanging up the phone. We were quite literally left out in the cold. Horrible place, absolutely no customer service of any kind, terrible and irreverent people.
