Parking is a total disaster. There is NO parking policy at this hotel. It's only 10 parking spots at most & people who don't stay at the hotel park in some of the spots. Parking near the front entrance only holds maybe 6 cars. Rear parking holds 4. If I knew parking was so limited I would've stayed elsewhere. We drove over 11hrs to arrive & not have anywhere to park. The night shift clerk suggested we park on the street in front of a fire hydrant!!! The entire 2nd floor reeked of marijuana. You can smell weed from you room as well. If yo want a safe place to park your vehicle then stay elsewhere.

Hotel smelled like weed as soon as you entered. Rude staff. $80 early check in. Dirty rooms, moldy bathrooms. Switched me three times! 1 room was moldy, 2nd room had tampon casings on the floor. 3rd room had to be “thoroughly inspected” before I can enter to make sure it was clean. Towels have hair all over it. Spend your money elsewhere. Not worth it.

The Hotel actions are not consistent with the term agree to on booking.com. They made a fraudulent hold on my account during this pandemic after 5 days after the cancellation of my stay. Also The cancellation was confirmed through booking.com a transaction fee and the hotel still charged me for the whole price. Then 5 days later placed a hold is 4x the price of the actual room on my account . I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

No longer the Sleep Inn, but called Van Wyck Hotel & Suites. Despite calling themselves a 100% smoke free hotel, the bathroom in my room smelled like a ghost was smoking in there for the entire night. Likely came through vents. A small parking garage is present with the building (8 cars max), but you'll have to pay $20 for a pass at the risk of being towed. They said free parking was available on the street... Couldn't risk it. A surprise $50 deposit was required at check in, which was returned at check out. In general, not the most pleasant experience. Make of this description as you will.

The most terrible , horrible costumer service representatives ever . Took my money with out added Authorization. Plus terrible manners , no follow up no nothing . I advise anyone to go stay at the Hilton near JFK. Great breakfast on time shuttle and cleaner rooms and facility .no shady business . Would give it Zero stars but google likes to be nice

It says pet friendly but the concierge said no pets allowed. Don't waste people's time no pets allowed then remove your pet friendly tag.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Staff was very helpful when faced with challenges and prompt to handle any issues that may have arose. The place was pretty clean and a great location. Aside from the fact that there’s no breakfast due to covid, everything was a Plus Plus in my book. Thank you for your hospitality.

This was a great choice for me and my family! Main reason we selected this hotel was proximity from JFK allowing easy access and travel. This place has new amenities, it has clean and comfortable rooms, friendly and accommodating staff. Hot breakfast was perfect for hungry kids in the morning and what' best is that they really enjoyed it! I really recommend this hotel .

I booked a room for my aunt and when she checked in the next day when she stepped out they cleaned her room as a check out and put her bags in another room on a different floor and stole items from her belongings and the management was very nasty they lied about it and didn’t help the situation the room was awful door knobs was broken lamps had no bulbs this hotel staff and management will be going down for stealing customers belongings the manager said oh this isn’t the first time it happened so this must be a regular thing staff stealing from customers i Do NOT recommend anyone staying here at all !!!!

I love this hotel, it's clean, very well maintained, staff are all very nice, respectful, helpful and make sure your happy and have everything you need, housekeeping is great, they will come clean your room without complaint if you oversleep and make sure you have extras needed. It was my first time here and if i ever come back in staying here. Oh let me not forget to mention how comfortable the beds are, i slept like a baby....... Room 304- 12/25/19- 1/2/2020 HAPPY NEW YEAR SLEEP INN & SUITES, I'm very happy here!

Location, cleanliness, and accommodating personnel make this a fantastic hotel on a trip to NY. It is close to JFK and a walking distance to the subway to get to Manhattan. The room, bed, and the bathroom were very clean. More, the staff were very helpful for a first time NY visitor by giving me addresses of Queens bars, restaurants, clubs, and places to see. I will definitely stay there again on my next trip next Spring.

Absolutely horrible. Trash in hallways, entire "hotel" smells like cigarettes and weed, no shower curtain, sheets had stains...avoid at all cost

Wonderful stay! The hotel staff was awesome! They provided many great services such as , a fabulous free breakfast, and free parking near the JFK airport. The rooms were very nice.
