Great theater! We saw Hamilton in September 2023 - it was an incredible production and the theater was an excellent place to see it. Drinks were very expensive, but tasty overall. The interior of the theater was beautiful, and service helpful. Would come back!

Hamilton is definitely an amazing experience, tickets were pricey but worth every dollar. The show was beautifully written and well choreographed. The whole time there I was noticing how passionate every performer was. Costumes were great as well. Theater itself was beautiful and well maintained Overall an incredible experience and I recomend everyone to go and see it.

🎭 beautiful theatre 🎭 great staff 🎭 moving performance This is now off the list of a million things I haven't done. Caught a Hamilton show in early August. It's a beautiful theatre. We sat mid mezzanine and had a great view of everything. I don't think that there is a bad seat in the house. The cast was wonderful. Sound was amazing. Seriously, don't wait.

We were able to watch Hamilton and thoroughly enjoyed the show. The theater is beautiful inside with a lot character over the years. The sound is amazing and the stage was beautiful. I encourage anyone to go check it out!

We’ve been waiting to go to Hamilton for a long time and once we got here, it was incredible. This theatre is beautiful! Being an older theatre though, there are many people in the lobby which makes it very difficult to walk around. However, all of that fades away because this theatre is magnificent. The bartenders were so awesome, attentive, and funny! The staff at the souvenir stands were so helpful as well. I found a credit card and the management was awesome in helping us get that card to the person missing it. I would highly recommend this theatre.

Let’s have another show tonight, They'll tell the story of tonight. Finally get my chance to watch the show live in Broadway. The musical show Hamilton itself is extraordinary, one of the best pieces of decade. The view on the mezzanine still quite well. Although the seating and space are quite crowded compare with other musical theatres in similar size, it didn’t affect the mood for enjoying the show.

Watched Hamilton Here! Was a wonderful epic experience. I had to buy last minute tickets so I only found box tickets hence the perspective my photos are from, generally wouldn’t say the side view affected my viewing experience as much as I thought it would, it is almost seamless and feels relatively close to the stage. Attached a short video so if you’re considering getting box tickets you know what your view will be like :) the theatre itself is also really nice and well maintained.

Great theater, we really enjoyed seeing Hamilton here. We bought the cheapest tickets available and sat in the mezzanine, and still had a great view of the show.

Hier spielt Hamilton.

Definitely worth seeing Hamilton here! All the hype about how amazing it is = 100% true! The music was incredible. The dancing and costumes, so beautiful. So grateful for this experience. The theater is lovely too. I did get a little chilly, so recommend a sweater. Also, the only bathroom in the basement is a little inconvenient. However, don’t be frightened by the intermission bathroom lines, they have a system and it didn’t take that long!

Our trip to Hamilton was 3 years in the making because of COVID travel delays, with the anticipation unbearable in the days that led to our arrival. The show did not disappoint, it was incredible and the cast outstanding. With my daughter obsessed with the show, I must’ve listened to the Original Cast Soundtrack a 1000 times prior and was concerned how it would stand up against it, but concerns were wasted, they were amazing. Couple of things let the venue down; 1 toilet on lower ground meant the queue at interval was insane. Also, and I know it’s the theatre and expect high prices, but come on! 2 cocktails and 2 soft drinks and some popcorn coming in at $90 is taking the piss. And, the server pouring from premix expecting a tip is insult to injury. My tips, take your own food and drink and run to the toilet the second the curtain comes down for interval. Oh, also I believe a age limit should be imposed for under 10s maybe; kid in front of us fidgeted the whole first half, bouncing around in the seat and totally distracted us. Thankfully after telling the parent they were moved, but too late to unspoil much of the show 😟

This place is gorgeous! The architecture is incredible, the set is utterly magical in transporting you from one place to another in time and space within seconds, and of course the acoustics are legendary! The stairs are a lot if you're in the mezzanine section, which was fine for us, because we are young and fully able-bodied, but because it's an older building, I'm curious how accessible it is if that's not true of you. Hopefully they have options for those with mobility issues, but I admittedly didn't see any myself. The only bathrooms are well-attended, so you won't run out of tissue paper or paper towels for your hands, and it will be clean thanks to the sweet bathroom attendant. But the bathrooms are a bit cramped, and are down a set of stairs into the basement level of the byilding. Also, the bathroom line for the women's restroom at intermission stretched up those stairs, doubled over itself in a long hallway, and down into the theatre almost all the way to the stage. My advice? Don't drink anything at dinner or during the show, and just bring some peppermint or gum (which you will of course unwrap strategically BEFORE the show starts, thank you - because that crinkle is infuriating) to pop into your mouth to stifle any dehydrated coughing. The guy running the bar at the mezzanine level is SO sweet, so definitely don't neglect to go up there and order your drink if you decide to brave it with the bathroom situation. Do realize, also, that a simple cocktail in the plastic collectible Hamilton cup will cost you about $40. Another reason to skip the drinks, maybe? Another note - I know you probably feel entirely capable of finding your seats by yourself, but when you pause or hesitate to decide where to walk next, you hold up every person behind you, and there are often a lot. There are literally lovely ushers in place every few dozen feet to help you find your seats and answer any questions you have, so please ask them instead of trying to tough it out on your own. Oh, and the show? Oh my gosh, the show. What an experience! Any frustration with the bathroom situation is quickly overtaken by utter thrill at this incredible production! I'm not history buff, but seeing and adoring Hamilton doesn't require that you be aware of history in virtually any way. Unlike Wicked and most other musicals, this does not have lines that lead into musical numbers, then more lines after. The spoken-word/rap style of Lin-Manuel Miranda means that almost every single audible utterance in this entire production is part of a song. There is musical number after musical number, all beautifully written, blocked, lit, choreographed, sung, and accompanied by a killer orchestra. There is little wonder why this show is so popular. I imagine it will stay so for a long time!

Excellent venue for enjoying a show. We went during a hot, muggy day in the city, yet the theater was at a cool, comfortable temperature. We had orchestra seats, but they were raised, which provided us with a great view of the stage. I unfortunately had the misfortune of sitting behind a tall person with a gigantic head, but I certainly don't blame the theater for that. Would definitely return to see a show here.

I saw Hamilton and the show was fabulous!!! I highly recommend it to anyone that likes musicals or anyone interested in history! However, the seats are narrow with very little leg room. In addition, there was only one men's and one women's bathroom which led to a Ludacrisly long line... With that, the theater was beautiful! The show was amazing! And the tight space was well worth it!

Went to the Richard Rogers Theatre to watch the classic Hamilton. Theatre is a bit old but well kept. Entrance is low and narrow and overall theatre gave the vibe of being over packed for some reason. Can’t explain why. The play was laced with great performances. No complaints there. The bartender was cool. I added an extra star for the play and the bartended. Theatre otherwise is average (not good/not bad).

My husband and I saw Hamilton here and it was a blast! Sound, lights, cast, crew, were all wonderful. The only problem is that seating, especially up in the balconies, is quite tight and if you have long legs, I recommend floor area seating over balcony seating due to the lack of adequate leg room. Other than that, the place has a rustic charm with its big, intricate chandeliers and rugs. Definitely worth a visit to see your favorite Broadway show.

Amazing show cast was great I thought the gentleman that was Lafayette tried too hard with the accent and really couldn’t understand his but redeemed himself as Jefferson would definitely recommend. Seats are very small my brother that I was with is taller had to get up several times and stand in the doorway to watch and the bathrooms are only in the basement .

I am not throwing away my shot to visit the Richard Rodgers theatre again! No matter what seats you chose, you certainly can't miss out on the fun and the sound goes around the whole theatre! The casting is amazing and the whole theatre aesthetic matches the musical completely. The staff is polite and helps you without problems. The musical itself did not disappoint and I don't think you could miss this stop! The only inconvenience is that the theatre might have been easier to get around if it was expanded, because with the pandemic all of the audience was crowded as they tried to exit.

Hamilton was everything they said it would be. I've seen the Hulu version and we loved that but it was so much better in person. It turned me into a Broadway fan now.

Great experience and beautiful theater! Hamilton was an amazing experience, and I would recommend anybody to go see it live in theaters! I was smiling the whole time, and I really enjoyed myself and the staff was extremely accommodating. Sitting inside, especially up on the front mezzanine, it is a little uncomfortable, not really much wiggle room for taller people but, the price is right and the show was fantastic.

I experienced this beautiful theater with its production of Hamilton during an afternoon matinee and was blown away by it. The ambiance, friendly staff, the comfortable seating, the clear view of the stage, not to mention the food and drink made available to theater goers, as well as the pristine amenities that every woman truly appreciates. A matinee at The Rodgers Theater is an experience I will not soon forget, and the production of Hamilton is a memory that I will cherish.

Visiting time square, New York and experiencing Hamilton live is the most profound experience you will ever experience in your entire life. The cast was beyond words I can convey. The staff is amazing. The drinks are great. Plus I was financially blessed to be able to buy a solo front row tickets, which is the only way I'd do it again. Hamilton is a life changing experience, beyond the big city and bright lights. Kamil,

My daughter and I have seen Hamilton here twice. I saw In The Heights here. I love this theater. The seats are cramped but Broadway theaters are iconic so no stars lost for that. This theater holds so many beautiful memories for me. It is cramped but the show here brings in a full house so it’s bound to be crowded. The prices are sky high but we can thank inflation for that. These shows are essential to the culture and NYC. Support the arts at all costs.

I would give Hamilton 5/5 (amazing) and the theatre 3.5-4/5 relatively to other theatres (old, tight, small bathroom, did not use the bar). About Hamilton. I think it has a bit too much of hiphop and rapping for my liking but it is funny (and hard to do), mind parents that there are quite some swearwords here and there too, but I cannot deny this musical is fast moving, full of actions, beautiful singing (too many incredible voices), the directing is very detailed, any second everyone is doing something on the stage, the ensemble’s moves are not only synced so well with music, but also are for moving the props in and out vs some supporting staff or hidden ropes/ magnets, the band is amazing. For budget visitors, Hamilton and The Lion King are the two most sold out NYC Broadway musicals. Chances for discount tickets would be buying months in advance, try the lottery for $10 tickets, but I am not that lucky, there are no same day rush tickets for $30-35 like some other shows, but if you are a student or a backpacker, try the stand room option. Arrive 1 hour prior to the show and check with the box office, if the show is sold out at that point, the stand room ticket can be purchased for $40. That was the only option for me when I spontaneously took a bus to NYC for Broadway. And because I am an educator who is used to be standing on my feet (in heels) sometimes 6 hours per day, I would not mind it for Hamilton and I would not mind it for Lion King (but Lion King does not have stand room option I believe). Of course you get what you pay for, the view is a bit limited but I think the audio quality could be even better than top rows in the balcony. I do have some confusion though. Each theatre has a stage door where the fans (and families and friends) would wait for the cast to come out. On one hand I feel it is a bad thing when the crowd starts cheering but quickly turn that off if the person walking out is not who they stand there for. On the other hand, if the size of this crowd defines how hot a show is, then Hamilton is no where near top 3 of the biggest crowds. But I guess for seasoned goers, it does not make sense to hang around 30 minutes if not more just to see someone coming out, or even worse, to get the announcement they already came out through a private exit.

Attending Hamilton on September 6th was one of my highlights during our trip to New York City. This theatre is extremely historic and easy to navigate (can get very tight during intermission.) We had excellent seats but after seeing it in person I could say that maybe if the seats look like they would be a great view! If you have seen Hamilton on Disney+ or listened to the soundtrack and are unsure about going, I HIGHLY recommend it. Seeing it in person is unlike any Hamilton experience you’ve had before
