Very old hotel on Queens Boulevard in a good part of Queens. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful It is easy to use mass transportation from this location. Some restaurants and a few stores are within walking distance.

If this place was any worse, it would just be a pile of rubble. everything that you could think of that could be wrong with a hotel is wrong with this hotel. This morning after I got out of the multi shaded shower, I had a choice between a towel with a bunch of stains, or a towel with a large hole in it. I say this morning loosely because it was actually closer to noon, due to the fact that I couldn't sleep because my room is a million degrees, and the floors bounce because of the night club next door. I have to leave the window open to maintain a livable temperature. Because I slept late I put the do no disturb sign on the door. Apparently this acts as an invitation for the maids to randomly open my door throughout the day, and then proceed to argue with me that they need to service the room. I would call the front desk and complain, except the phone in my room does not work.

It's now a homeless shelter and no longer functions as a hotel.

Its a horrible shelter ... The administration here is prejudice . The housing specialist latisha hewitt is unprofessional and ghetto as hell. There needs to be more positivity in the workplace.

The hotel was not bad, but very old. The cleaness of bathroom was also no good, there were hair from guests before us in the bathroom. Also internet in the room is 7$ extra. One star for the location and free parking. One star for the POP restaurant next to the hotel. The brunch in POP was the best brunch during my stay in the USA.

I remember staying here in 1975 with my family, Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme' were guests there at the same time. Things can change a lot in 45 years. It was an entirely respectable property at that time.

Pan American is one of the oldest hotels on Queens Blvd.; it looks like the same hotel 30 years ago.

This is the worst hotel in Queens. Absolutely filthy. Mostly all of the bedsheets are stained. Not worth the price of stay. They charge an extra $12 for wifi DAILY. There are much better hotels than Pan Am in Queens. Please do yourself a favor and find another hotel!

Nothing to brag about this hotel. It's cheap, so that's a plus. Conveniently located close to a subway (10 min brisk walk), and reasonably priced compared to the other alternatives. There is a lot of noise Sat nights till 4am from a club nearby. Don't stay here if you're a light sleeper. Great place if you want to stay for cheap and don't need anything other than a bed for the night. Stay away from the restaurant downstairs. Too over priced and the food wasn't even passable.

(Translated by Google) Was great for a super affordable stay in New York's Queens district, there's a diner just around the corner and the nearest subway station is also within easy reach. (Original) War für einen supergünstigen Aufenthalt im New Yorker Stadtteil Queens bestens geeignet, es gibt da einen Diner gleich um die Ecke und die nächste Subway Station ist auch schnell erreichbar.

Sub par living conditions and the staff ( like any other shelter) don't use their maximum potential to do their jobs efficiently. They hire unqualified individuals, underpay them and the facility is understaffed.

We stayed for one night to go to the liberty house restaurant. I asked for and received a great room with a great view. The proximity to transportation to NYC is crazy close. We took a quick unplanned trip over to the 9-11 memorial - so easy to do.

Just a place to sleep. Location is excellent with a local subway stop just nearby plus La Guardia is just a short ride away. Lobby looks tired though. But for the price and for lack of any other choice in the area then this hotel is just OK.

I’ve been vacationing in wildwood since I was very little (so 25 years) and this is by far the cleanest and nicest hotel I’ve stayed at! The staff was very friendly and was extremely thorough in informing us about the covid restrictions. Betty at the front desk was the sweetest! The pool is the perfect size. There is a fire pit! It’s right on the beach next to a small pier. There is a playground, basketball court and bike rental place next to the hotel. Restaurant in the lobby. (I didn’t try it but our friends did and said it’s pretty good) You are only 10 blocks from the beginning of the boardwalk! Rooms come with a microwave, sink and fridge. Larger rooms (with one bed) come with a full fridge and stove top! Honestly, I don’t think I’ll stay at any other hotel again!

(Translated by Google) hahaha I can not believe it, when I went to that hotel it was very small, I did not think I was going to see it again. From what I remember, this hotel was spectacular. I do not have any pictures of this place, so you can get an idea, there were still no digital cameras back then!

I would give zero stars if I could . I understand that it is a shelter that makes my experience even more ironic because a shelter is meant to be a place where people care for others in some way. The men in the front of the place lack common decency when dealing with a person (a fellow human being). I was in the area and I needed to pee so badly that I was about to urinate all over myself. I begged and pleaded with them to just let me use the bathroom for literally 1 minute and I was told that I was not allowed to do so. That is not a way that any person should ever treat another person. We are both human beinings and I was not treated humanely. It is just plain wrong to do that to a person. I understand that it is not a hotel but the decent human thing to do is let a person use the bathroom instead of making them urinate all over themselves . It is very disappointing and very upsetting, to know that someone would do something like that to another person.
