I had a great experience at Gun for Hire. I did not expect it to be so big and nice inside. The staff at the front desk were nice and welcoming, the guy who helped us pick out our guns kind of had no personality but thats ok. Our Instructor inside Daniel Varano was the man, he went over everything on the hand gun and rifle we had chosen. He is definitely an asset to the company, literally made sure we had fun in a safe manner. J will be returning to this place 100%. Thanks so much for the cool memories and awesome time!

First time in America first time shooting anything that's not a shotgun. These guys really make you feel at home and guide you every step of the way until both you and them feel confident and happy going forward. Great experience and incredibly friendly and social staff and instructors, if I had more money I would come here every day until the end of my holiday. Free WiFi and restrooms and vending machines on site as well, a perfect day out and one to be remembered. Thanks guys! Amazing experience, took my two kids (10 y/o & 9 y/o) here the other day for the first time. The staff was absolutely amazing and super professional from the moment we got there till the end. Big shout out to Gene one of the range instructors, fantastic with the kids. I highly recommend using him when bringing kids or even if this is your a novice shooter. There was also another instructor with a Navy background that was also very insightful, my apologies for not catching his name. We will definitely be coming back and looking into a possible membership!

I took my 3 daughters and we had a blast... literally. Our instructor Rafael was amazing. He was so informative. My daughters felt comfortable in his knowledge and let him guide them to happy targets. We laughed a lot.

Amazing place to practice! It was my first time shooting a gun and the instructor Marius was really comprehensive and was all the time next to us explaining how to use the gun and all the safety rules! I would recommend to my friends to go to this place if they want to learn how to use a gun safely.

Extremely well organised facility right from the moment you enter all the way through to getting onto the range with your choice of firepower. Knowledgeable and friendly staff that made our visit totally awesome. On our visit I was able to use my brothers service pistol as well as the AR15...but there was a huge choice of guns available to chose from just wish I had longer time on our visit...could easily spend a small fortune trying out different guns!! Thorough enjoyed it, even my 11yr old son managed to fire a couple of rounds as the staff supported him through his initial apprehensiveness. Guns not for everyone and they get a lot of bad press but these guys are professional and only through education can gun crime be eliminated.

Superb range! The staff make you feel very welcomed and it is evident that they are passionate about what they do. Our safety officer, Chris, was extremely knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and insightful! What a guy! Anthony (the owner) engages with his customers to ensure everyone is happy, and does an amazing job at running a smooth (safety focused) operation there. Highly recommend this experience! Oh, and the place is spotless:)

I had a really good experience at gun for hire. This is my first time experience with real gun. This place is really nice and really clean inside. The staff at the front desk were nice and welcoming. My instructor is Paul, he is incredibly friendly and patient. Paul taught me how to use the gun and stood behind and watched me shoot, made the whole process easy. I will back here in the future 100% and I really recommend instructor Paul. Thank you for such awesome experience.

Great news! This place deserves all the stars it gets! Our instructor, Paul, was absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond with his instructions, and was incredibly patient with all of us. He made sure that every member of our party was having a fantastic time. Paul was not only extremely professional, but he also felt like he was a part of our family. He surpassed all of our expectations, and we are truly grateful to him for giving us an unforgettable experience. I cannot stress enough how great the service was at this place. The customer service is top-notch. The staff at the front register were incredibly helpful in getting us ready to shoot, and the weapon rentals were fantastic. They offered fair pricing and provided us with specialized suggestions, which we greatly appreciated since it was our first time shooting. The person at the counter helped us pick the right guns for us, and asked all the necessary questions to ensure that we had a blast. We are so grateful for the service that we received at this place!

This place is consistently good. Very helpful employees - I was helped by an instructor named Alan B. - seasoned worker - answered dozens of questions we had and corrected some mistakes we were making. Good selection of guns. Place is clean. Price wise is good too, would cost you give or take $250 for 2 hours of shooting per person.

To be honest I had low expectations - but they exceeded and went above and beyond! I went in today for the first time to shoot (first time shooting a gun as well) and all the instructors were super clear, patient and understanding. Even though I was super anxious being a first time shooter, every single one of the employees greeted me and were super friendly. I didn’t know what I was doing and they were actually not annoyed by me. Honestly now I’m expecting this level of service everywhere, Because it’s possible. Can’t commemorate them enough! Will be recommending this place to everyone. Specially newbies like myself. 1000/10

Everything about this place is Byron’s awesome. Starting with the staff, they are exceptionally friendly, professional, welcoming, respectful and above all trying their very best to make your Experience unforgivable. They take safety very serious and number one priority, which very important to us as customers at a range. The place is extremely clean and well organized. We became members and more to say part of the family. Great experience and wonderful time. It has everything for everyone from professional shooters, to hosting an event, to training lessons to even give a professional guidance. Great experience and we are happy to be part of that awesome family. Finally we got to meet the owner, who is the most humble and awesome person you will ever meet. This place is awesome!! My youngest daughter (27) wanted to partake in firing a gun for her birthday..lol well from the time we walked in to the time we left EACH employee was so nice. Our firing instructor Jorge was the best! I didn't anticipate having fun while firing but Jorge made our experience fun. The gentlemen at the section with the weapons were very helpful as well. I have no complaints. Looking forward to return.

Drove 2 hours from L.I.....and it was certainly worth the trip. Guns For Hire is FANTASTIC !! Met and spoke with the owner, and Author, Anthony. Super friendly guy. The staff from the front desk, gun store, rentals and Range Officers were all friendly and knowledgeable. They had a huge selection of rentals. Their price point on product sales were very reasonable. 5 stars !!

I recently visited GUN for Hire at the Woodland Park range, and while I had a great time, I have to say that the prices were a bit too expensive for my liking. The range itself is top-notch, with a wide variety of firearms to choose from and knowledgeable staff to help you out. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the overall experience was a lot of fun. However, I did find myself feeling a bit sticker-shocked by the prices. While I understand that quality firearms and range equipment can be expensive, I felt like the prices at GUN for Hire were a bit too high compared to other ranges l've been to. That being said, if you're looking for a top-quality shooting experience and don't mind spending a bit more, GUN for Hire is definitely worth checking out. Just be prepared to pay a premium for the privilege. Overall, I would give GUN for Hire at the Woodland Park range 4 stars, with the caveat that the prices may be a bit too high for some people's budgets

Our visit to the shooting range was a delightful experience. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming, making us feel at ease, especially since it had been quite some time since we had last been to a range. The wait time was reasonable, and the prices were fair, making for an enjoyable and affordable experience. Overall, it was an absolute blast, and we look forward to returning soon for another round of fun.

Best gun range around! Fantastic layout of the multiple ranges & ports within this location. The store inside the range has anything and everything you could want. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff to help you rent a port, guns, rifles, purchase ammunition and even purchase a new gun. If you are new to shooting or have been shooting for a while, this is the range for you! Stop in and have a "Blast"!!!

I took my office staff out to Gun for Hire today and we had the most amazing experience! The staff all around were the most friendliest and helpful individuals. Two of my employees were first time shooters and I believe this was the best experience anyone can have especially for a first time shooter. You guys were all awesome! Thank you!

My first time at a firing range and I should say this was a great experience! As you walk in , you are greeted by the staff and asked if it is the first time there and if yes , need to fill out a form for membership, which is free. (There is an option for paid membership too I guess) . You then choose the type of gun ( you can almost get everything from a hand gun to a shot gun !), bullets , eye and ear protection. Instructor time gets added since it's the first time , which is a good thing. We had a great instructor- Leonard to train us on how to use the gun safely but also ensured we had fun doing so! Given that ppl don't wear safety vests , the instructors do a good job of ensuring everyone follows the rules. Great place if you are looking for a gun range !

Please make sure to have you government ID with you and be ready for an experience that you will not find anywhere else and do t hesitate to ask, especially if you are German speaking and are wondering how to get there and how to make sure that your visit will be a total success. Very nice, clean location and only 20 minutes from my home. As my 6 year old son and I enter this establishment for the first time, we are greeted by a nice lady at the front door. She has a short and sweet conversation with my son and she welcomes us into the store. Gives my son a coin which he now thinks is his official gun license, lol. Busy place but they have guys ready to help with almost anything. I end up with a guy named Josh who did everything to make sure I was properly informed and helped narrow down my choices. The owner then greeted me and had a great talk with my son. I mean this 6 year old is having a great day. Not one negative about my experience here. Continued success! And I can't wait for Staccato Day on September 19th, 2023!

Very good shooting range. Friendly staff, specially Mark. He is professional, super friendly and funny. I spent like 2 hours, rented 1 pistol and 3 big guns, totally cost me like $250. I checked the receipts, most expensive things actually are bullet. The whole experience is not cheap, but totally worth it. Definitely will revisit.
