🫤 Security guard is friendly, the lady who took our temperature at the door was nice but there is one foreign lady who sits behind the desk.     Security guard is friendly, the lady who took our temperature at the door was nice but there is one foreign lady who sits behind the desk. She is extremely rude and doesn’t know how to talk to people. With it being my first time there I didn’t know the right person to talk to, to give my medical card to, to get COVID tested, she gave me a nasty attitude then told me who I needed to talk to. She should not be at the front desk dealing with customers with an attitude like that. Not to mention she had me sitting there waiting for her to finish her conversation with another lady before even asking if I needed help.

    One particular staff member at the front desk is very rude..She seriously needs to be retrained in customer courtesy..she will ignore you while your waiting and has actually got up and walked away without taking care of you and this has happened several times, and she won't interact with you in anyway i.e. telling a patient she will be with you in a minute etc....common courtesy is free..they gave me a little appointment book once and told me to use the number they circled on it in case you need to talk to someone about a medication or a precription problem but they never pick up , it rings 3 times then goes to a busy signal or it picks up then you hear them hang up..This is not good customer relations! Very disappointed ..I had to call Coney Island Hospital and the operator says to me there's nothing we can do!! I didn't except that answer and asked for patient relations which then verified what I said abt the so called help number and she got in touch with administration and had them call me back..This is unacceptable ..Thank God the courteous manager at Patient Relations got someone to call me back..

    I been going here for years with my parents. I know they are normally busy and understand that due to Covid many people are now returning to see there doctor. Today was the experience that made me take time to write this. I had an appointment time which I asked if it could be given to my parents (who had a later time) as we were already there and had to wait. I asked if this was possible and if not we would come back. There was a guy who I learned after I asked. Is the manager he was beyond rude and unprofessional. Mind you the conversation had nothing to do with him and I was not even speaking with him. He kept repeating the same thing i was asking the other lady and just sound nasty and disrespectful. I watched as he spoke to Other customers as well during our wait time. I know This a city run place but there is no place for this. Especially when the people are not being rude to them. I also deal with patients and I would never treat someone this way!

    Went there for first time they treated u so rude and unprofessional , told me to seat and wait for my turn I waited long time the. Asked her if I need to fill paper she said no them waited more time went I asked her why taking so long she said we have no space to see u I thought this was walk in . She said no I left . If I could I would give no star . 👎

    Very pleasant clinic. A NYC facility. Appointment preferred, check in, and have a seat. The Head Nurse Ms. Beaton is well informed and happy to help you with your situation.

    Dental Office SUCKS!! If you want better professional care go elsewhere. Not worth the headache they don’t have an official oral surgeon. The Dentists make unprofessional remarks and decisions on your care that w/ a second opinion is ruled out. All they seem to be is about money. Not helpful for the patient at all. They need more training into insurance policies. Stop just telling patients anything and you didn’t verify.

    awful place !!! you come to your time and sit for an hour still waiting !!!! an awful long time they made me a tooth for about 5 months I went and did one tooth and put a crown on the tooth hurts !!! very not careful they do it was so painful that the pain made me feel bad no one asked how I feel !!! I do not recommend going there

    This place is amazing. They helped someone close to me in like 3 hours. She didnt have insurance or a dime to her name and they got her help and a cab and she was right as rain in like 3 hours flat. These people do gods work. Her and i are both the kind of people who could never be rude or obnoxious regardless. They knew she was in real pain and rushed her through the process without even asking. Super sweet and understanding. You have no idea how much it means to us. Like the song the needle and the damage done: I sing the song because I love the man I know that some of you don't understand. Ya the governement works sometimes.

    Went for a COVID test which was done fairly quickly, however what confused me was that they needed my insurance card. Why? I thought it was free testing??

    My Doctor is phenomenal. Thank you, it matters. Listens, follows up, and is kind and mindful. My nurses are busy, quick and available. Front staff even if busy, are accommodating and friendly. Security are respectful. Everyone works cohesively together. Environment clean. Just wish dental took more insurances.

    I called the day before and explained to them I don't have insurance but was experiencing dental pain. They explained to me to come first thing in the morning at 8AM because its first come first serve. I arrived at 7:45 and was the first one on line to check in. I had to wait a while to be seen however they took care of my dental pain. Front desk staff was very nice and made an appointment for me to speak to a financial counselor to get insurance. The dentist who worked on me was resident who did wonderful job and was assisted by the attending. They explained to me that this is the only public hospital in south Brooklyn that accepts patient without insurance as well as with insurance which is why there is a long wait for follow up appointments. If you have insurance and don't want to wait multiple months for an appointment I recommend going to a private dentist office. If you experience pain come to the clinic but I recommend being the first patient other wise I saw patients waiting hours.

    Totally incompetent. Waited around for 20 minutes to find they "lost" my appointment. They tried to reschedule it for THREE WEEKS from today. Really angry that I took the day off for this. I won't be going back because I don't trust them, and I don't believe they know what they're doing.

    This place is very unorganized the secretarys in the front are always lost and confused, the dentist change every day, you have to wait very long for an appointment, every time I came in too see a dentist I seen a different dentist, not cool, prefer to see the same dentist all the time, I would recommend anyone looking for a dentist office not to go to this one, trust me pick a different one PICK A DIFFERENT DENTIST LOCATION.

    Doctor Florence Temba do the filling on WRONG TOOTH!!! The worst place in the earth. Never go there, strongly recommend to visit Coney Island Hospital (Ocean Prkw) location.

    Went for Covid testing, someone takes your temp at the door and then asked me to complete a form. I was already registered so it was a bit of a waste to complete that form. Maybe should have asked me if I had been to a location before. Person at the front desk was professional and process went very fast. Was done within 30 minutes. Would definitely recommend.

    They said next available appointment is... after one year! Why not after next 10 years? Maybe you will die in this time from your disease and this will be great for this "wonderful hospital"? For what such hospitals exists in nyc?
