    Had the pleasure of going in for my annual dentist appointment after the renovations and reopening. The place looks amazing… these renovations definitely make the place more inviting. I was impressed. The staff even seemed more pleasant. Lol I took a few pics just to show you 😎

    This is a review update from the review below written a year ago. Sadly nothing has changed!! The front desk receptionists continue to be rude, impatient, unfriendly and unprofessional!!! I had an appointment today, August 16, 2023. Upon leaving I was asked by my Dr. as a favor to him to go to the front desk and cancel a upcoming appointment. The receptionists all pretended to be busy looking at their computer screens, and once I was finally acknowledged without any eye contact, I was greeted with a nasty and rude person instructing me to sit down. The attitude seems to be, I can't be bothered to help the patients!! Again, DC 37, I implore you to hire people who have people skills!! There are plenty of qualified people looking for work!!! The Dr's and Dental Assistants are wonderful!! If we could avoid the front desk people, a visit to this dentist office wouldn't be such a negative experience. The receptionists at the front desk need lessons in people skills! They are the first people you encounter when ntal office which is already anxiety provoking for some people. A kind, patient, professional welcoming can make a world of difference. The ladies are rude and impatient!! This behavior is intolerable in a business where people need to be handled with care and respect!! I have been a patient of the Brooklyn office for years and the receptionist were so friendly. I'm missing them!! Hire people who are trained and love to work with the public, please!!!

    UNBELIEVABLE!!! They cancelled my appointment because the dentist was out... NO phone call because they "didn't have my correct number" πŸ™„... THEN!!!!!!!! They tell me the NEXT AVAILABLE APPOINTMENT IS IN NOVEMBER... NOVEMBER!!! Nevermind, I'll go somewhere else. UNBELIEVABLE!!

    RUDE Receptionist. Came here for an eye exam and I was running late because of a prior appointment with my doctor. The receptionist made me feel awful that I was late even though I said I was traveling from a doctor's appointment and apologized for being late. I gave her my voucher which was still wet because I accidentally spilled soup on it and she made a big deal out of it and that it might not be accepted even though you can clearly see everything that is written on the voucher. Overall, she made me feel UNWELCOMED and awful. For a customer service position for a union that is supposed to represent us, I can't believe they hired such a receptionist. For anyone going to the Vision Center, proceed with cautious and good luck! The eye doctor was ok, I had Kim. She was nice, but felt like she does her usual quick procedure to get you out of there. I have done eye exams elsewhere and remember they take their time and give you multiple test to check your vision, but they don't do that here.

    The reception staff are MORE polite and courteous towards eachother than to the clients. They should be mindful of their personal conversations with eachother while patients are present and sitting in the waiting area. They should not comment about the slack of other employees. It's just protocol to politely acknowledge a patient when standing at your partition. Sometimes when you call their info line or if you receive an appointment reminder call they appear to be hesitant or aggravated if you ask for their name. The pictures that are placed within the procedure booths are of former workers! For my money I would much rather prefer to see balloons, a waterfall, something bright and happy. Especially after having a needle in your mouth! Some of those pictures look like, sorry to say, slave owners pictures. Overall, you can tell they do their BEST to take care of the business. Finally, with modernization it ought not take a NEW member a year to be seen for the FIRST time.

    Most of the receptionists need to retire. Very I'll mannered and crude. They are old and cranky. The younger women seem nicer. Not ageism because I am a senior citizen.

    I have had a very good experience to make to me a new dentures with dentist Dr. Navalta. She change the way I smile with replacing my old dysfunctional dentures with a new and functional ones. Thank you Dr. Navalta and thanks to Dc37

    First time being treated by DC 37 Dental team. The dentist, her assistant and hygienist, all women, were all very professional, nice and open. They answered all my questions. The customer service staff from the receptionist at the lobby to the ladies at the floors front desks were also nice. I hope it wasn't because I was there on a Tuesday and right at the very early hours of the day, 8:00 a.m., but because they actually care about their patients. I really appreciate the treatment they provided and hope that they keep it up.

    It's not worth your teeth to come in here. The cleaning Is rough. My teeth cut out on the tip. The staffs took three times to make my x-ray right because of the rough or doesn't work equipment

    My wife got a dental cleaning here one month ago. Another dentist not from this group, tells us that they did not do a good job and shows us the evidence to prove it!

    Couldn’t even get in. Called in February to make a new patient appointment. The earliest they could see me was April. Beginning of April comes and I get a called that they have to cancel my appointment because the dentist was not going to be in. They couldn’t reschedule me until July. Fine. During my re-scheduling call I learn that the appointment set for me wasn’t even a cleaning which I made clear to the first receptionist that is what I wanted. They then had to book a separate appointment to get cleaning done as a new patient you have to get X-rays and see the dentist first, prior to cleaning. This was not made clear to me when I originally booked my appointment. It’s now July and it’s three days before my appointment. They call and say they have to CANCEL AGAIN because the dentist is β€œsick”. Couldn’t rebook me for another month. At this point I’m finding a new dentist

    On several occasions, I have had the opportunity to interact as well as observe the front desk staff on the third floor of the Dental Center. Jestine Paskel and Aldin Greasley are both professional and personable as they provide services to members. They are to be complimented for their kindness and patience in what can be challenging situations. Kudos to Ms Paskel and Ms Greasley!!
