I was introduced to Dr. Wahib years ago due to a stress fracture at my left foot. Being an athlete, running and biking long distances, I went through few injuries and was always treated by him. He is not only very knowledgeable about sport medicine and injuries, he also takes the time to explain the issue and to follow up with the recovery. He saw me few times on very short notice and made himself available when I needed his treatment daily ( after a small surgery that needed daily care). I can’t recommend him enough!

I was seen for a serious knee injury. Was quickly scheduled and seen and MRI done to help determine if surgery was the best option. Wasn’t pressured into any particular option but felt like I was given information about my options and likely outcomes. The best orthopedist I’ve seen, hands down. Helped with finding the right surgeon and PT relevant to my goals post surgery. Best care I’ve had through the whole process (having seen a number of specialists for sports related injuries over the past 15 years in combat sports).

Karim is a amazing practitioner and has helped me throughout all of my problems. Doing the sport of Brazilian jiu-jitsu your knees starts acting up, fingers, shoulders, all sorts of aliments. Karim didn’t pull any punches and told me exactly what was going on and steps necessary to recover. Thankful to have him.

When I was treated at ouchmed , they treated me like a person not another number. I was examined the time that my appointment was set for in a clean friendly environment.. As a Judo player and a Strength and Conditioning coach I know my body and was able to ask the intelligent questions which were answered in a appropriate manner . The answers were precise and extremely informative. . I was thoroughly examined for my aliment and was treated and now am able to be fully functionally. If you would like to be as good as you were before your ailment then stop procrastinating give O U C H a call

I am a full time Jiu Jitsu athlete and sustained an injury to my right knee. I came to ouch Medical to investigate the injury. Turns out I sustained a partial tear in my medial meniscus. The team at Ouch Medical first informed me about the significance of the injury in relationship to my sport as well as the solutions. Basically, what most athletes do is they get a meniscectomy, which is a quick solution (2-4 week recovery) however this leads to arthritis down the line. With the help of Ouch Medical I was able to make the smarter decision of getting a meniscus repair which is a 12 week recovery, however minimizes the chances of arthritis and allowed me to get to full health! Thanks so much guys!!

Dr Wahib is a magician. He has fixed every injury I’ve ever had, and has ALWAYS known precisely what is wrong. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. He’s wonderful.

As a competitive athlete it becomes a challenge to find a doctor you can trust who isn’t going to tell you to “ quit doing what you love”. At O.U.C.H. Medical I was happy to find such a person. Dr Wahib has not only the skills to diagnose my issues but the ability to treat me not like I’m too old to do what I enjoy. I highly recommend him to the average and the athlete.

If you have an injury, GO HERE FIRST!!!! I lost almost 2 years (and a lot of money) by going to another orthopedist before coming to OUCHMED. I had multiple gluteal tears as well as a torn labrum. My work requires me to stand on my feet for 8+ hours a day. I was convinced I’d simply have to live with pain and limited mobility for the rest of my life (and give up my favorite martial art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu). Thank goodness for Karim! His team quickly identified my problem and set a treatment plan immediately into action. It has been 3 months since my procedure and I am still feeling GREAT! I’m back to training, back to work full time and I have zero residual pain from my injury. I wish I’d gone to OUCHMED sooner!!!!

I was a international competitor in the sport of Judo. Judo is a high impact sport. No one at the top level is 100% going into practice and tournaments. But with OUCH, I would come fairly close. I had crazy issues with my shoulder and knee. But I was on my grind sooner than I thought. No one is a miracle worker but these group of people try their best. And I do truly do appreciate it. Only bad thing I have to say is I WISH YOU GUYS WERE AROUND EARLIER IN MY CAREER!

Dr. Wahib is always my go to for any orthopedic ailments that I encounter. His assessments are thorough, detailed and honest. His knowledge of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu also ensures that he understands the circumstances of my injuries and is therefore able to plan my recovery through treatments, stretches and advice. I would recommend him to any of my friends and family.

I've been going to Karim since 2012 for my sports injuries. Most recent visit was 2 weeks ago for a calf issue. With his diagnosis and recommendations I was able to complete a half marathon 2 days ago.

I had a great experience at OUCH-MED! My wait time was minimal and waiting room was very pleasant. I also appreciated, the efficient and kind manner of the receptionists. I was there to see Dr. Karim Wahib, who accommodated me on a days notice. He went above and beyond in the consultation. Between assessing my ailment to instructing me through excerises that would alleviate me pain. I am actually looking forward to my follow up visit!

I was fortunate enough to be referred to Yaffe Ruden back in 2008 by a coworker of mine who had hurt his back. I had herniated a disc in my lower back playing college sports, and had aggravated the injury. That was the first appointment I had with Karim, the PA for OUCH Med. Over the years, I've seen him for various injuries, including tibial tendinitis in both ankles, a fractured foot, and lower back pain with sciatica. Karim has a great way of explaining injuries, what can cause them, and giving a solid recovery plan. He's also the type of person who makes you feel like he genuinely wants to help you, which can be really hard to find. Two months ago, I went to see Karim because the pain in my back had become a lot worse and included intense nerve and leg pain, and some weakness and numbness in my leg and foot. I got x-rays onsite and the office called my insurance company to get pre-approval for an MRI before I left that day. I saw Karim on a Friday, had the MRI done on a Sunday, Monday morning he called with the results. By 3pm that day, he had helped schedule an epidural steroid injection and also referred me to a surgeon, so I could explore my options. I had a minimally invasive surgery to remove the herniated piece of disc on February 12th and haven't felt this good in months. I can't say enough great things about Karim and OUCH Med. I've always had a great experience and feel really lucky to have a place that I can go to for various types of injuries that I trust! I know they'll always take great care of me!

I have gone to O.U.C.H Med for a few sports injuries over the years and I have had nothing but positive experiences each time. There staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and completely professional. In May of this year I fractured my ankle while training for an adventure race. Their diagnosis and treatment not only helped foster my speedy recovery but enabled me to prevent future injuries with my chronic ankle issues. With out a doubt this place is at the cutting edge of sports medicine. Highly recommended!

😠 Pay your copay to be put in an exam room and left there for 45 minutes even when you have an appointment!
