Delivered by Dr. Conroy who I never met previously. Terrible bedside manner. She came into my labor room and immediately said if I don't deliver in 4 hours I will need a c-section. She didn't even introduce herself or provide any other options. She essentially forced me to have a c-section and she was extremely rough during the surgery. My incision is still painful 6 months later with an 8in x 4 in area of paresthesia. Cold and uncaring. It's a shame she was the person on site when I was in labor. Will never go back to NYU at the risk of being delivered by her again.

It's impossible to get an appointment. I tried getting one online, never heard back from them. Created an account, same thing. Now I've been on hold for an hour on the phone and still no answer. How hard is it to answer the phone to schedule an appointment??? Or if you're too cheap to pay an assistant how about you actually make a real online appointment calendar instead of a contact form that never gets answered? I swear Mexican public free healthcare has a better service than this.

If I could give OBGYN 0 stars. This is for the Tisch, 53rd st, and near the 31st st location. My biggest regret is starting OB care with NYU. Staff never scheduled my appointments. It was always me that had to reach out and schedule everything. They completely put me to the back burner and failed to schedule a gestational diabetes test for me. Even my OB was concerned on why there were no appointments scheduled for her and I to meet. Your appointments will not be at one location. They make you travel all over the city to have an ultra sound and a follow up at two different sites. The neglect and incompetence from NYU OBGYN I have experienced has made me feel unsafe and unsure about certain things throughout my trimesters. I've been on hold for 40 minutes at a time looking for an explanation as to why no one was scheduling my appointments. I've had a fetal heart echo done that I was later told was unnecessary. That scan was extremely painful as I was about to pass out and vomit, they showed no compassion or offered any help incase I did fall. If I am being treated this way, I could only imagine what labor and delivery is like! I will not be delivering at NYU TISCH! Thank God this is my second pregnancy and know what to look out for!

Posting for friend. They don't follow basic medical practice and don't follow ACOG guidelines. Refused to give newborn mothers milk because it "wasn't enough" baby didn't get colostrum and was struggling. The standard practice is to give mothers milk and then supplement. This allows baby time to practice latching and bring mothers supply up. Mother was not given chance to try breastfeeding more than for a few minutes a day. The issues baby had are usually fixed by more time with mother not less. Also mother was not given opportunity for natural delivery. C section forced on her after 10h in hospital. 2 hours in actual labor. There were no complications stated for baby or mother before c section. Also forced to take anticoagulant because they do for all c section. This is also not standard medical practice. Mother was young healthy fit woman. Medical malpractice.

This review if for the 10Q Obstetrics office at NYU Langone Health of Lower Manhattan. Excellent service from office assistants, ultrasound technicians, doctors, nurses, the place itself, everything. The doctors are extremely professional, very knowledgeable and very kind. I’m so lucky of having those professionals taking care of my pregnancy. Thanks for everything!

Terrible communication and bad office policies! Hardly willing to help the patient with anything minor they might need assistance! Can't right a bad enough review! I gave them so many chances thinking it was just a one time occurrence.

This is for the TRINITY LOCATION: Had to call about 5 times to finally get an appointment, with people re directing to me different doctors and saying I would get a call back and then I never would. When I finally went in the doctor was nothing but rude and NOT understanding of the pain and discomfort I was going through (the nurse was great). Also tried to get an appointment for discomfort - they were booked for a week solid. If you are a female you know you cannot go a FULL WEEK in discomfort. Asked if the doctor could send me a prescription which they have done before a few months ago. It is was for very standard medication you can even order line - they told me I NEED to go in for a test or go the urgent care, so they basically just wanted to bill me hundreds of dollars for the test fees. Disgusting. I ended up calling tele-health through my insurance and they send the prescription right away. Switching my doctor. DO NOT GO HERE.

Extremely disappointing care. There os jo effort for any consistency or continuity of care. They are incredibly unresponsive to questions both attempting over the phone or through MyChart. The schedulers are not effective at ensuring appointments can be made in an efficient manner often requiring appointments in different locations on the same day hours and hours apart which is not conducive to working patients. Additionally, scheduling missed making appointments that were required. Orders not placed in a timely manner from providers and often very long waits in the office. I took the time to express my concerns to the β€œoffice manager” who was not very responsive to any of my concerns. I would certainly recommend finding another practice, especially if you are a first time mother.

I delivered here in 2021 and would probably give 2 star review back then. I had a complicated and extremely long labor, mostly because I was induced. Later I found out that most clinics force you to be induced if you’re more than 10 days past due date, but I won’t do it anymore, no matter what. Overall, the experience was ok. Doctors are professional and they do their job properly. There will be no personalized care/approach, you’ll be seen by a new doctor every time and nobody will recognize you or take responsibility for the outcome. 3 different doctors changed while I was in labor. So it’s not for everyone. I was ok with that and will probably deliver here again.

Nursing staff are a huge disappointment. There is no communication and if you have a problem or concern the provider passes it on to them who do absolutely nothing. Every appointment feels rushed and it’s an embarrassment for NYU as their other specialist departments are excellent. Just absolutely awful.

The staff here are amazing. From the moment you walk in the administrators that check you in are super friendly and kind. Shout out to Elizabeth who goes above and beyond frequently to accommodate you and be extra kind and caring. However I am beyond impressed with Dr. Shanaye Jeffers. This doctor REALLY listens to you, explains everything so thoroughly, puts you at ease, gives you time, answers all your questions and goes through all your history no matter how complicated. This woman is on it! Quite simply the Dream Doctor when you are pregnant. She makes my visits a joy and I am beyond grateful to have found her. Also the nurses, scanning technicians, nurses assistants are all top notch. Everyone I have experienced here is really professional, highly competent and excellent at what they do. I have been in other OBGYN places and they pale in comparison to NYU.

She delivered by second baby! Met her for the first time on the day of delivery but she was so professional and supportive. It went by so smooth and quick.

Dr. Ruggiero delivered my baby in August and I could not have asked for a better experience. She along with her entire team were incredible. From or very first ultrasound in January through our delivery was wonderful. All of the doctors in the practice are smart, kind, and listen to you. I think I met all but one over the course of my nine months and would recommend all of them, you really can’t go wrong. The desk staff and nurses are also so sweet and accommodating. Dr. Ruggiero will have a special place in my heart because she is the first doctor we saw when we learned we were pregnant and she delivered our beautiful baby girl. I cannot say enough positive things about this practice and their staff. Highly recommend!

This was probably the worst healthcare experience I ever had. From the moment I walked in, I was met with extremely unpleasant and passive aggressive receptionists. Sitting in the chair at the gynecologist's office to have imaging done is ALREADY a very vulnerable and stressful experience but Johanna Ramos, the sonographer, managed to make it worse. Instead of treating her client gently with kindness and patience, she made me feel very stupid, bringing me to tears in the medical chair. She spoke to me as if I was a child she was frustrated with because I misunderstood her instructions. If I could give 0 stars, I would. NYU HIRE BETTER!!!! NO ONE should leave a doctor's office feeling this upset.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Everyone at the office is so nice. Dr. Shelton took his time with me and explained all my options without pushing me into anything. He’s wonderful and I trust his expertise. 😠 I’m 32. Been going here since I was 14. The lack of communication and professionalism is ridiculous. I was told I needed to have a surgical procedure done and that I needed to meet the provider. On 3 different occasions I was scheduled at the office and each time I got there, staff notified me that...

😠 First of all, I'm a local this was the second time I went to this place. August 08 at 1:00pm, I did 3 person line and I overheard people were arguing at the front desk. My assumption was that of course front desk had an attitude base from last experience. Shortly, a young lady coming out saying to m...

😠 ZERO STARS. They botched my blood sample and lab could not run my tests. Now they are playing a cat and mouse game with phone calls and emails. During my second visit, one of their 'assistants' (will keep 'them' anonymous) asked me for a job because this place doesn't pay them enough. They also have...
