The NYUL Hospital; Very clean and well kept and everything was done on time. Hopefully I won't ever need a hospital -but if I do that would be the place I'd go..

While the hospital efficiency during check in is to be commended, the experience in the surgery waiting room C1-135A is horrible. First of all the staff is rude, I walked in with a cup of coffee and was told "sorry you can't drink here" --I said Ok but I wasn't throwing out a $5 Starbucks... Nope... had to leave. When I do return, the surgery waiting room is packed. The same rude staff was there but she wasn't enforcing seating courtesy. Some people take up two seats with their bags or feet up the chair. Unless my wife surgery and after care experience is spectacular, this hospital doesn't even deserve one star. Wait till next year when their JHCO recertification is due, I have one or two things to say. Picture shows where I had to sit and wait all because they don't allow food and drinks in the waiting room.

NYU Hospital for Joint Disease has NO compassion for end of life care!! My holocaust survivor grandfather is dying and they will not let the family be by his side. Where else do they limit end of life visitors? This man has suffered so much and his last wish is to be around family and you wonโ€™t allow that. Have a heart! We would move him/bring him home if he would survive the transport.

Excellent end-to-end experience at NYU Orthopedic Hospital for total knee replacement with Dr. Schwarzkopf, from pre-op preparation, registration to operating room to being wheeled to the car for pick up. Very progressive medical and integrative medicine approaches. The PT, OT, RN, LPN, CNA staff were all caring, responsive during my overnight stay. And the food is also good!

Kudos Dr. Ran Schwarzkopf and the entire medical team that attended to my needs. I had hip replacement surgery and had a one-night hospital stay. From intake to discharge, every employee was kind, caring, courteous, professional and conscientious. My room was also very clean. I canโ€™t say enough about how much of a blessing and how much appreciation I have for all of them as they attended to my needs. The whole hospital experience was a very positive one. Thank you!!!

Not a friendly staff of nurses. Dr Kolawole also accused me of doctor shopping for surgery, which I didnโ€™t know it was a thing. Not like you can get addicted to surgery.

My father was recently here for operation few days. Horrible customer service. I would call the nurse station for status update and would always get a semi-articulate โ€˜aideโ€™. Who always promised to relay my message to a โ€˜Nurse Practitionerโ€™ who would call me back. NO ONE ever called back. Also 90% of time the calls did not go through - received prerecorded message lines busy. Nurses not friendly or helpful. Not least bit proactive. Also the PT he received was minimal most sessions were under 20 minute?! Horrible place would never recommend to anyone.

Exceptional service, new facilities. Iโ€™ve undergone three planned procedures within the span of three years, and I cannot overstate the exceptional level of attention and quality of care delivered by NYU Langone. My recent hand surgery this past Saturday was a success. From the seamless check-in process to the surgical procedure itself, and even the post-surgery aromatherapy, every aspect of my experience was outstanding.

For Immediate Care orthopedic clinic I recently went because I had broken my foot the night before. We were there for 6 hours getting X-rays and then they put on a splint and it was excruciating. I followed up at another orthopedic clinic and they were SHOCKED at how antiquated the splint they put me in was. Also it was done so poorly that I now have severe pressure ulcers on my heel. No one could tell me why my heel was on fire and the nurse said when I called it was probably just drainage in my splint running up my leg. As soon as they took the plaster splint off at the new place they were shocked. There was no protective sock between my skin and the splint and they such a prestigious place would still be using plaster and not fiberglass. They are just doing what is cheapest at the expense of the patients comfort and health. No everyone needs a haphazard splint. They could have given me a boot or something better...

This hospital is by far the best! I had hip replacement surgery and Dr. Fernandez Madrid performed my replacement on February 25 2021 I spent one night and was out the next day.I have to say the professionalism of the staff is amazing! everyone makes you feel comfortable and safe.I am so very much thankful to all the staff on the 10th floor and all staff at pre-OP.If you need hip replacement surgery or anything dealing with Orthopedics, I 100% recommended NYU Langone. Thank you.

I overheard the x-ray tech arguing with the receptionist about double booking him when I got to my 9AM appointment and it took 2 hours until it was my turn. The facility was absolutely disgusting! Filthy and never once saw anyone sanitizing high touch points. I have a high standard for NYU Langone and will never return to this location. Gross.

Two weeks ago, had total hip replacement surgery with Dr. Rozell as my surgeon. Already I can say the surgery has given me my life back. I stayed two nights in the hospital on East 17th. The surgeon and all of the nursing care was wonderful. Nurses, aides, occupational, physical and respiratory therapists were knowledgeable, skilled and unwaveringly helpful. In fact, everyone I encountered in this experience was all of those things. The facility is beautiful. I was in a private room and, unlike other hospitals I've stayed in, overnight it was quiet enough for me to get the rest I needed to start healing. Oh, and the food was really pretty good. Menu choices are offered, and meals were delivered on time by yet another lovely staff member. Overall, this was the best hospital experience I've ever had.

Dr .Levin , Dr Anil and their team were terrific and performed a most successful hip replacement for my brother Nicholas. Special thanks for a most professional and caring job to Nurse Orlando Campos and receptionist Gina in room 135A and Nurse Kelida in recovery. More kudos to the nursing staff on the 10 the floor and the physical and occupational therapy staff. As you can see we were provided a super experience. God Bless NYU orthopedic. I would be remiss if I didn't mention Anesthesiologist Marwaha who was most professional and compassionate.

This hospital is amazing.i walked in with a broken wrist and Stephane took care of me immediately.. he was kind and attentive and explained everything that needed to be done. i stayed the night and had surgery the next morning. Doctor Egol performed surgery and all went well. the staff, nurses were very attentive as well.i would highly recommend this hospital if you have any orthopedic issues. there is a reason why it was named top 10 in the US

My experience with the staff at the front desk was absolutely terrible they are the most unsympathetic staff I have ever had to deal with but after that the hospital was amazing NYU definitely needs to rethink about peopleโ€™s first impression about there facility

March 27th at 6am I arrived for a hip replacement with Doctor Rozell. I had struggled with this decision for a number of years until the pain was too much to bear. From the moment I made the decision to have surgery Dr Rozell and the NYU Healthcare Team was with me every step of the way. They provided me with the best possible care and were warm and supportive. By 4 o'clock the same day I was on my way home with my new hip! They are all living proof of the miracle of modern medicine! Hugs to every single one of them. Thank you Dr Rozell!

Checked in at approximately noon, waited about 45 mins, got calls into an office and had one test done. Still have 1 test to go, been sitting in the exam room for almost 3 hrs. Shame

There is no triage at the ortho urgent care. You could wait 4 hours for an x ray when you need different imaging. It is also expensive. Try elsewhere if you know you have an urgent problem or you have a nagging issue that needs a workup.

Came here for right shoulder surgery, interacted with about 15 individuals, and all of them were extremely kind and professional, I thank all of them, you made my experience the best. I've been to several clinics and none inspired me with a sense of professionalism as much as NYU did.

I had day surgery here early in January 2023. My nurse, Joselyn and phlebotomist, Kate were both kind & competent. I donโ€™t know how they do it as the preop area is so tiny.

Thank you OT's Lizzie & Rebecca. Admin Tech/Nurse Richard, Nurses Kim, Marianne & Alla. PT Imelda & the wonderful aide working the 3ร—11 shift who wheeled me outside to a waiting car. You made my knee replacement surgery a good memory. The kindness & patience of the entire staff was wonderful. The OR staff, head nurse, anesthesiologist, that entire staff, and of course including Dr. Youm, thank you so much for fixing me.

Clean, very friendly, courteous and professional staff. My wife's first time there for an issue regarding her leg, and she had the most pleasant experience. I would recommend it to anyone in need of orthopedic care.

The customer service is extremely unprofessional. The receptionist refused to give her whole name (Carmen). Began yelling when asking to relay a message to the doctor seen. Distinctively expressed she would not help. Refused to acknowledg me when I asked to speak to a supervisor. Sadly, this fiscility is supposed to be one of the best I'm New York, but has such poor customer sevice.
