Stay away from this place if you have health insurance, and if you don’t want to ruin your credit score. They are better at taking care of uninsured patients than insured patients. Guess government’s money is way easier to get! I never paid a cent for my Prep since I started to take Prep years ago. I’m having the same insurance for years, and yes this place is in-network, but When I moved to this neighborhood, I started to do Prep at this place, then each time I visited I received 200$ bill from Lab for my blood works, which STI test is 100% covered by my insurance, I called my insurance company, they told me the clinic has billed the wrong code, they need to changed the code, but after I called so many times, which only got through once, seemed like their billing department were on 300 days vacation out of 365 days a year. then I physically visited the clinic, many times. Never went anywhere, until I got a call from debt collector, I finally played as a Karen demand to see manger, the manager of the place tried to help but nothing changed. I ended up giving up and paid almost 600$ for my 3 Prep visits. Now I’m back at somewhere paying 0$ for Prep again, with the exact same insurance. Overall, this place deserves 0 star, 0 professional!

Lets be realistic...this place isn't fancy, waiting times can be dreadful, sometimes messages don't get passed on, sometimes it's impossible to get through on the phone...but despite all the shortcomings, it's an absolute godsend to the thousands of low-income/uninsured people who use it's services. I had great insurance for years, and could pick and choose which provider I went to, but after losing my job I found myself needing to go to a facility which, it appears, is mostly catering to the less financially-fortunate residents of NYC. In December I was seen by a new member of staff, Molly Anderson, and she is absolutely wonderful. By chance, my next appointment in January was also with Molly, and once again she was absolutely fantastic. Even if I had the money to go anywhere I wanted, I'd still choose Molly! As far as I know, she's a Nurse Practitioner rather than a doctor, but for all intents and purposes it makes no difference whatsoever. Shes more knowledgeable, more helpful, more caring and overall more competent than virtually any Primary Care doctor I've ever seen. Four stars for Ryan, five stars for Molly!

By far the worst healthcare facility I have encountered. Noted issues: 1. Appointment was for 9am but at 9:30 am told that the doctor has not yet arrived for the day. 2. A routine check-up that has historically taken 15-minutes elsewhere took 2 hours 15 minutes here. 3. Facilities are very run-down and the staff are extremely rude. 4. Prescription sent to a random pharmacy instead of the pharmacy I put down and verbally confirmed 3 times. You are better off forging healthcare than trying to get it at this facility.

I've been going to Ryan health at 645 10th Ave over 3 years and never had any issues overall. (My NP Molly Anderson is truly the best) I Love this place overall until today my Np wasn't in for the afternoon and I got stuck with a nursing staff(LaLa) laughing and playing at the patient door for a hour while I was waiting to get triage when she finally came and told me to go to the next room she continued to play with another staff member while I went to the next room she said I was the problem and handed me off to another nurse to triage as she witnessed the laughing and playing from "Lala". I left with my blood pressure extremely high

Don't know how people can complain about this place. This place has been there for Mr for years. They are always above and beyond with me. My doctor legitimately cared about me and my condition. One time I didn't show up for a long time and my doctor really cared. When I came back he made it a point to see me and expressed his concern. I was surprised and knew I was in the right place.

I’m honestly upset that most people haven’t reviewed Ryan Chelsea-Clinton so well. What’s up w/ that?? My spouse and I have been going there for care for over a decade (on and off), and have had many needs met there. From eye doctor appointments to therapy to gynecology visits, we’ve experienced care on multiple fronts. We consider it to be a blessing that this community health center is in our area — and is even walkable from where we live. That’s awesome!! Maybe others take it for granted. I’m not sure. Okay, maybe it is true that not all of the customer service interactions that I’ve had there are stellar, yet most people who work there are quite pleasant. Also, both my honey and I recently got flu shots (vaccines) from Lihi Bakal, RN and she was excellent. The stand out doctor there (in our joint view) is def Dr. Edward Solis — who is an outstanding care provider. He has been my spouse’s doctor for years, and she genuinely enjoys speaking with him. She looks forward to it! Also, in terms of the front of house, so to speak, both Hugo and Dwayne are our faves. They are kind, professional, competent and warm-hearted people. Lastly, the waiting areas are spacious and welcoming; hope that more folks will give it a chance! All the Best, Katherine/Kat

And dirty , unprofessional.

Look, they try their best but a person with decent insurance should avoid this clinic at all costs. It’s overcrowded, dirty and has long waits. Look elsewhere.

Chose this place because they were in neighborhood and took my insurance. I would call it the opposite of medical "care." First physical I told the phlebotomist I faint when blood is drawn (about 3% of people do) and should lie flat on table. He told me "No, it will be okay" and... I passed out and they made a code blue of it then sent me home with an incomplete physical with no followup. When I finally got a followup and the doctor ordered more testing with an onsite specialist, I had three appointments and two tests the same. Both tests were botched (they blame the lab supplies) so no results. I will never return to this place and am currently trying to get back to my old doctor, no matter how far away the office might be. AVOID.

I always come and get treated nicely but today I had an appointment One of the guys in front welcoming people inside was handing some free home covid kits was disgusting and rude . My husband asked if he can get another one he said no i already gave you in a loud nasty attitude and waves his hand to leave get out and kicked the box more inside like we were to steal . You could have said no sorry theres a limit no big deal or in a nice way but no need to be all that extra and speak in a loud nasty way to a patient and act that way .

I discovered Ryan Chelsea Clinic several years ago and have found it to be the most convenient and comprehensive care I've ever had. Luckily it's only a 3-block walk from my apartment. But it's their wonderful staff that counts. Their front desk check-in is sometimes a bit slow...which is common in most doctor's offices. However, they also have self check-in machines for when someone wants to check in quickly. A wonderful option! And under one roof, I have my family doctor, my dentist, my eye doctor, my psychologist, my podiatrist, my dermatologist, and more. They also have an abundance of nurses, lab technicians, security guards and cleaning staff. There's a large comfortable waiting room with TV screens. The entire staff is friendly and helpful and tries to keep patients waiting times to a minimum (I always allow extra time, just in case). They also seem to accept more types of insurance than anywhere I've ever been. And they work with people who can't afford to pay. Their motto is "Healthcare is a right, not a privilege." In my years of being a patient there, I swear by them. And I'm saddened by some of the negative reviews in this thread. But I'm also a patient person, and I understand that no medical office is perfect. I highly recommend trying out Ryan Chelsea Clinic.

The male front desk staff member was very helpful and the elder female in administration was a very patient the rest were loud, obnoxious and unprofessional, the last female who attended me at the front desk seem like she didn't even want to be there. The Dr. was knowledgeable seemed very concerned for my care.

Worst clinic I have visited. I have called three times to make an appointment for my 9 month old's checkup and their "call service" takes my information, but no one has called me back. You would think that given the child's age that we would get a call back within a reasonable timeframe. Also, the pediatrician is OK, but clearly has been in the filed way too long. She doesn't seem very caring, just straight by the book kinda attitude. There was also an altercation between a patient and a security, which is not the kind of place I want to bring my young child to. I would stay away if you can help it.

I really wanted to give this place a 5 star but given my recent experiences I the best I can do is 3 stars. I live around the corner from them so this place is very convenient. The pros: close by, they have multiple doctors and PAs who can take your appointment, they are friendly and easy going. The Cons: if you are going in for test results and you are expecting to see those results on their portal you may end up waiting much longer than usual. Sometimes even days or weeks after the results were received. This is the most frustrating thing. They do have a good call back system where you enter your phone number and they will call you back. I have tried to get in touch with my physician assistant via the portal a few times and got no response. I usually have to call into the office and hope that someone can reach her to answer my questions.

I made an appointment online to get a COVID vaccine. I showed up at the right time. They asked me to fill out some forms (which I had already filled online), and to wait to be called. Thirty minutes later, I asked a doctor who came out to the waiting room if I was in the right place for a COVID vaccine, and she said yes, and told me to continue waiting because I would be called. Fifteen minutes later (after a 45 minute-wait), I went back to the front desk to inquire. This time, I was told they were not giving vaccines if I had not seen a doctor. I said I had made an appointment online, registered with the clinic, and filled out papers that said "COVID vaccine." I asked to talk to the manager. The staff member went to talk to the manager, who never came out to talk to me. The staff member did come back to me saying that they just didn't have COVID vaccines. I think the management of the clinic is a disaster and the staff if misinformed. The website also provides the wrong information. I wasted a whole morning on this. I filled out a paper complaint that they probably threw in the garbage.

Ryan Chelsea-Clinton are very unprofessional.I went there fro Hep- C Treatment and when my appointment date finally arrived the Doctor wasn't there, apparently out sick.I went again for an infected Cyst and an Asian lady suggested I go to another Clinic, and stated don't worry about the infection after I stated my fears of it bursting and entering my body.I went online and they stated that could be very dangerous if happened-The Asian Lady Doctor said the contrary.I'm going to file a Medical Mal-Practice suit against her and the clinic. The place is also filthy and poorly maintained. The staff are rude and unprofessional.I was also informed by the Doctor there that they wouldn't treat me at an Emergency Room, her erroneous advice that borders on Mal-Practice could have resulted in a serious bodily injury-Because not was I only treated at the Emergency Room at Mount Sinai ,the Doctor informed me that it was a good thing that I did come in because it would have only got worse,I was immediately treated and given Antibiotics. They were super nice there, compassionate, caring and Professional. The complete opposite Of the filthy Ryan-Chelsea Center ,who didn't offer me any type of treatment,no antibiotics,no dressing for my wound,nothing-Im going to file a formal complaint

Today was the initial appointment to transfer primary care services from a former clinic after my longterm and beloved PCP doc retired, referred to Sophie Nurani thru word of mouth. I’ve rarely experience such an organized, cordial and helpful staff from the initial greeting at the entrance, an efficient registration, only 3 minute waiting room time before the vitals nurse called me into the examine room. Doc Sophie arrived just as vitals finished, impressive. Dr. Nurani was most approachable in her friendly demeanor; poignant, comprehensible and efficient in her approach to care. Kudos all. You’ve got me at first impressions.

I was so depressed and felt like I was crazy but Maria Ortiz helped me to realize that I am not. Her patience with me is OUTSTANDING. I would recommend everyone that could hear me and have problems to go and see her. I love and appreciate her.

This place is a TOTAL JOKE. They made me wait for 3 HOURS ON A SATURDAY for nothing. I got there at 11:10 for my appointment and there were three people ahead of me. They made me wait and sit there until 2 PM for nothing!!!!!! Then, a manager said they didn’t know I was there and Dr. Winters left. Mind you, I had filled out paperwork for them, handed it to them and they took my ID and insurance card. They said the doctor went home and if I would like to reschedule for another day. I told them no, absolutely not. They made me waste 3 hours on Saturday for nothing. What a joke of an establishment and unprofessional and incompetent staff. I put everything to the side in my life to get my physical exam. Please do not come here if you want a professional experience. They just have one sad girl at the front desk dealing with the line by herself. I’ve never in all my life had the experience of coming to the doctors and waiting for 3 hours to then go home without any care or being seen by anyone. Save yourself the time and peace and go somewhere else. I should have known because this place already has terrible reviews to begin with.

The Ryan Chelsea-Clinton medical clinic has been doing a great service for the community by providing health services through tough times, a food pantry and much more than people will ever know. The community is grateful, appreciates you and thanks you for everything you do. Mr Jesse who has been running this clinic for many years is the best!
