Bedlam is cozy, kind of gross, and filled with lots of weird things (the color scheme is dark and moody, and it looks like old medical textbooks and miscellaneous taxidermies litter the walls). The couches and seats are actually quite comfortable, but can get a bit messy and unclean, and the crowd is young, fun and doesn't care much. There is room to mingle - though not a lot, the bathroom is clean enough, and the drinks are reasonable.

Don't take your vegetarian or animal-lover friends here. The walls are covered in taxidermy animal heads. Dead center is the belle of the ball, a giant moose head. Really puts it into perspective how big a moose really is. The drinks are pretty average in price, but the drinks are secondary to how strange the interior looks. You'll never run out of things to talk about with so much weird stuff to look at on the walls. Bring a few friends and snag a booth for a chill night out.

Awesome place in Alphabet City, perfect for a relatively low-key night out. Music/DJ isn’t as good as before though.

We've been here countless times, always an amazing time. The bartenders are very friendly and make the drinks nice and strong. The decor is on point with an eccentric laboratory/mental institution theme going for it including a giant moose head. The dance floor is always lit up and the DJs always seem to know exactly what to play. It even has a semi-private room in the back if your looking for a good spot to chill out and chat or have a birthday celebration. Between the 3 bathrooms, there is never usually a line for long. Definitely recommend this hidden gem in the east village.

The home of Dworld Underwear party. The venue is a very classic east village bar which transforms into a Gay haunt for the night. One where your buns are on show and the temperature will be rising!! A special night in a fun venue which as a standalone is a quirky but fun bar.

Hell of a place to dance drink and party , price is good , you're paying Brooklyn prices for Manhattan vibe ... if that makes sense

Small cute local bar. I went to see a friend perform in a burlesque show. Friendly bartender, decent prices on drinks, 4 stars instead of 5 because parking in the area is a challenge.

Really fun bar. Great dancefloor. Maybe this is my problem and not Bedlam's, but I feel like I never got any tipsier there no matter how many drinks I ordered?

It was awesome because it's really a cool place and I was the DJ that night.

Fun place but gets crowded quickly though, didn't stayed for long but drinks were good.
