Usually frequent here for practice with friends during open gym. Front desk staff is always amazing, place is always clean. If you’re someone ,or have kids, that love gymnastics, parkour, calisthenics, martial arts, and overall fun, this is a great place to go. There are classes that you can take to introduce you and the family to the facility and the instructors are amazing, talented individuals. So glad I chose to go here.

We had the most amazing time at Brooklyn Zoo for our 7 yr old’s birthday today! The coaches, Frances & Ian, were incredible at instructing and making it super fun for the kids! Our party host set everything up beautifully and made it a breeze from start to finish. Everyone absolutely loved it.

When the weather dips into the teens and your little ones have tons of energy to release, the Brooklyn Zoo is a great place to let them release their inner animals. I signed my 7-year-old nephew up for the Parkour Basics class. He had a great time learning how to properly run and jump in the different indoor obstacle courses on the 2nd floor. Next, he took the Ninja Training class on the 1st floor, which is great for kids into the American Ninja Warrior shows. In both classes, the kids are taught to stretch and warm up before beginning their training, and they are given a water break in the middle of the class. Each class is an hour long and led by instructors who focus the children's energies by having them do specific stunts. When asked, my nephew said he preferred the Ninja Training class more because the stunts were more fun. Each class is $25, but you can purchase a 10-pack for $180. It's best to create an account on their website first, sign up for the classes you want to take, then just check in at the front desk to see where the class is held. Classes are available for any age group, including adults. And like with any type of physical activity, care must be taken to avoid injuries, so instructors should be followed or consulted before attempting the stunts.

Tried my first class here and absolutely loved it. I wasn’t in my top shape when I went and they still made it an enjoyable experience with challenges that are attainable. Although, I would highly suggest you have a baseline level of fitness but before attempting to get through the course successfully. They have a range for adults and kids and open gym sessions for people who want to practice on their own.

We love training at this space! The gym is well-equipped with everything you need to train tumbling, gymnastics, parkour, dance, and calisthenics. This is a two-story gym with super fun obstacles, trampoline, foam pit, spring floor, mirrors, and TONS of mats. The staff are very kind and helpful and care a lot about the community who come to the gym. The people who train there are creative and talented artists and athletes who are incredibly supportive to one another and happy to share the space, even on busy days. Definitely check out the classes if you’re new, you’ll learn a lot!

My kids love this place but the drop in rate is super expensive and they don’t offer sibling discount. I use to get the package for one month now they changed it for 3 weeks. Will have to wait until they change it back to continue taking my kids but overall this place is amazing and the instructors are awesome also love their merchandising.

Just had the most fun 5th birthday party for our son and his friend here today. The crew was super helpful and extremely talented! They entertained the kids for over an hour before we ate, and they helped with set up and breakdown. An all around great group of guys who made their bday party so memorable. The venue itself is very cool and spacious. There was something for everyone to do. Highly recommend this venue for a birthday party! Thanks again!!

Brooklyn Zoo is a super cool unique place to practice everything from gymnastics to dance to parkour to trampoline and more. The space has a cool unique aesthetic which feels like it’s channeling the industrial Brooklyn neighborhood surrounding it. They have a few tables for working or hanging out if you want to spend the day there and also get some practice in. It can be a little intimidating for a first timer but the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Their policy of requiring a class before access to open gym is great because they give you broad instruction on all the pads and equipment as well as communicating a safety first policy.

I did not use this facility at all. I’m writing to express my dissatisfaction with the owners deciding to call this place “Brooklyn Zoo”. I wasted an hour’s drive wanting to bring my son to an actual zoo only to realize it’s a gym. Did the thought never occurred to the people running this place that calling it the Brooklyn Zoo might be confusing and risks wasting other people’s time. If they really don’t mind being confusing, I’d like to suggest they open a coffee shop and call it Brooklyn Emergency Hospital. If anyone else reading this has also wasted their time because of a confusing name and knows of a way to bring a class action suit against the company to get monetary value for lost time, include me as a claimant.

Brooklyn zoo has several floors. 2 floors are used for gymnastics n trampoline n top floor is the most awesome looking club with parties thrown by fullcirclesouljahs a dance organization that specializes in the history n roots of hip hop. On this evening Grand Master Melle Mel a hip hop Pioneer MC performed along with Whodini n the original Jazzy Jay from the famous Roxy Scene in Beat Street showed his skills in Dj'ing. Plenty of dancers n high profile guest. Feb 13th, 2020 from Thursday 9pm&2am is the next behind the Groove BTG event featuring House music sensation n legend Brenda Tucker singing all her hits. This is a must for all.

Absolutely enjoy every trip to the zoo. Very well maintained and the animals look very well treated. The staff is consistently helpful, and I would definitely look into the special encounters that they have, worth the extra price.

Really wonderful alternative to a barbells and treadmill type of gym. I haven't really taken an exercise class since March 2020 and am a little bit out of shape. Have some tumbling/silks/trampoline experience. I was more than sufficiently challenged by what was offered, and still instructors were really great at offering alternatives. Bars with Jessica was especially accessible and I really felt taken care of by her. And my arms were more than sore in the next few days. I also find that the opportunity to literally change my perspective (by being upside down) is tremendous for my mental health. Looking forward to attending regularly!

Great party staff was awesome they led kids through structured activities. Everyone had a blast and Orlando was awesme about setting everything up for the party. Last 15 minutes adults were invited in on the action and most of them participated. Its hands down one of the best parties we have had for our kids in a while.

After the pandemic, limited number of visiters were in the zoo. It wasn't crowded and less waiting time. That was very good.

I attended an adult class with Will The Thrill this week and it was totally awesome! Our instructor was an incredibly high level tumbler - I was AMAZED at his skills!!- and he offered helpful form corrections, tips & spots! I wasn't sure which building was the right one so when I called, the guy at the desk came outside to help me find the place-- SO NICE!! This was so much fun; I had a great time & the people were super nice! I'll definitely be back; thank you again!! This was a BLAST! Highly recommend!
