Awesome place for breakfast in New York City. They have seating indoors and outdoors. There have a lot food choices and many are unique. They offer good cocktails and coffee choices. Will definitely go there again.

This place is a great hidden gem in NYC with authentic amazing taste. The food is delicious. The bread is divinely fresh. The salmon on brioche and the pate were amazing. Mimosas were made with Fresh squeezed juice. The macchiato and cappuccinos were delicious and fresh. Great coffee can be tasted. The service is phenomenal and you can tell because they got a line outside - even in freezing NYC weather. Definitely will return in the warmer days to sit outside and enjoy the NYC feels. Only thing to be mindful of is they don’t take cash for payment.

La Parisienne was a quaint, relaxing brunch spot on a sunny Friday morning. There was a short wait for us to be seated which was perfectly fair and seats were being turned over quickly. The menu was fairly varied, filled with typical French options. The pastries and breakfast sandwich I had were well above average, however I mostly preferred the mimosa and fruit available. Nice brunch experience with great service overall.

It's a very sweet place. I can say that it is the place with the fastest service in NYC. Aldı prices are reasonable. French toast is big and quite tasty. If you like french breakfast, I definitely recommend this place.

I had dined here multiple times prior to the pandemic and loved their French toast. Prices seem to be way over now perhaps due to rent and costs rising. As such, I find it not as good value for money anymore for the French toast or the avocado one. Finally came back last Saturday. It’s still as quaint and cozy. Croissants were good. Staff was nice and attentive.

Nice French music, the oat milk latte was great, the apple tart quite nice, but the almond croissant was disappointing (dry, poor feuilletage, not much almond cream inside…). The toasts were amazingly good though

If this is not the greatest little gem in the area, I don't know what is!!! We read the reviews and chose to have a post-cruise breakfast here. I love how easy it is to enter your name on the wait-list tablet and then be called in. Despite signs asking people to not linger, we were not rushed at all. We loved the fresh OJ, croissants, ham and egg sandwiches so much, we returned the next day and tried all new items. Even the decaf coffee was really good!! Great staff, they ALL clean the tables constantly so you never have to look at dirty dishes. This helps keep that cafe feel going. Everyone was wonderful and didn't make me feel stupid practicing my french.

Authentic french brunch place cute little spot hiding inside fidi. I love the french toast here it's so soft and fluffy kinda feels like Japanese souffle pancakes! The sandwich was less impressive I wouldn't get it again. The mocha is surprisingly really thick and flavorful!

Finally tried this one! Very nice place for breakfast or lunch. Good for drinks - a very nice freshly squeezed orange juice for $5. The pastries are good but they all came cold and not fresh. A little disappointed from a French place. The chocolate lava cake was fresh but it didn’t come out melty in the inside.

Exceptional food. Chicken salad sandwich was unique and super tasty. The apple slices, turmeric, and pistachio gave it tremendous flavor profile. The bun was light and paired well with the ingredients. Tight space but didn’t have to wait for a party of 2 around Friday noon. Got mimosas too which were fine. Fairly pricey overall.

We arrived in New York after our red eye flight got delayed by 5 hours. La Parisienne was the perfect oasis for lunch and dessert. We got the ham and cheese croissant with an added egg (get the egg). It was absolutely delicious!!! The chives on top were a nice pop of color and a lovely bright flavor with the buttery croissant, ham, and cheese. We also got the warm apple tart with ice cream and the Paris-Brest. The apple tart did not have a lot of sugar and paired well with ice cream. The Paris-Brest was the perfect level of sweetness. If you don't like a lot of sugar in your desserts, definitely get one here! The atmosphere is fun with music playing and a beautiful gallery wall. Thank you for the amazing experience and the delicious food! 💖

The french toast was phenomenal. We went there at the opening time on a Saturday morning and within 30min it was packed! But the wait time is not that bad and I would definitely recommend you to try the french toast. Coffee was pretty tasty as well.

This is a really tiny place, not ideal for someone with stroller or a lot of bags and not for large groups. The tables are closed together. There is two tables for outdoor seating that come with space heaters which are much needed. Some tables inside as well. I came on a weekday and had a 10 minute wait. One restroom all the way in the back. I got the ham and cheese croissant. Yummy for sure. The croissant was buttery and flakey. I think $10.50 is a bit expensive seeing how other delicious bakery sell this kind of croissant for less than $7.

I’m not a fan of French toast in general but theirs is absolutely incredible. Best French toast I’ve ever had. The croissant sandwich is great too and the iced mocha was perfect. It wasn’t too sweet and it just hit the spot. This place is easy to miss because of the scaffolding but there are always people here because it’s that good.

Lovely little cafe near Wall Street. Food is excellent - we really enjoyed the avo toast, chicken salad brioche and the French toast. The latter was one of the best we’ve tried: brioche, bananas, berries and maple syrup. Very friendly staff as well. The Yelp-based virtual queue system was also very helpful.

Brunch on Wall Street! Not spacious and only few seats, so need to wait to get seated. We took the bar seats so it didn't take us long to get in. The salmon sandwich was fine, and we added an egg. I always enjoy dipping the bread with egg yolk. Brioche gave this french toast a softer texture. Bathing in honey made it a bit too sweet for me, it would be great if I could pour it myself. But the overall taste was good! It's always a good plan to order both savory and sweet plates to get a balance of flavor and share with your friend ✨ Their Cappuccino was less strong but creamy, which just suited my mood at that moment so I like it:) Anddd it was the first time seeing a little brunch place like this to help celebrate birthdays 😳. They put a candle on the french toast plate and played a birthday song on the speaker. Not sure how it came but looked cute.

Please be nice and caring to your customers next time:) ———————————————————— DO NOT GO. Rude service. Overprice food. I'm Asian, and offended. They did not fill my water cup for the whole time when everyone else has water. I even asked for water but was ignored. All other staffs are kinda fine but one of the ladies is ESPECIALLY RUDE. She had a condescending attitude all the time and it got worse when I asked for the bill. Can't believe some cold leaves with spam and some cheese cubes cost me 14 dollars. I moved to Fidi a year ago. Everyday I walk past La Parisienne twice, expecting to have a brunch here someday. Now I can only say I'm very frustrated. Do not recommend.

I highly recommend the French toast, but it’s not the most filling meal. I came in really hungry and ordered the large size, but was still hungry after. I ended up getting the ham and cheese croissant as well. Both dishes were out of this world. If you get the croissant, I’d also recommend adding the avocado and egg. The only drawback to this place is that it’s very tiny and has pretty limited seating. I’m definitely looking forward to being back though.

Chic French cafe for your coffee and croissant needs. Add avocado toast to that list while you’re at it. Be ready to wait in line to get in during peak hours and sit very close to another table - but it’ll be all worth it in the end. Recommend!

Adorable Petite Cafe/Brunch Spot right in the middle of WTC. Don't let the location fool you, one of the BEST French Toast I've ever had. They boldly serve you the plate with no side of syrup or butter. Delicious.

Amazing food, it came really fast :) Staff was very nice and kind and even there were plenty of people waiting in front of entrance, we fitted in quite fast :) We really enjoyed it here and definitely come back :) So far the best brunch in NY!

The host (and owner I think) is soooo nice. She greeted us and let us know about our table. She gave us coffee and water while we waited. The rest of the staff is super polite and walked us through the menu. The french toast is delicious! The coffee too. Everything was tasty and hit the spot. Will come back for sure!

Unlike a lot of these reviews, I’m afraid my husband and I did not enjoy the food! You can see from the photos that accompany this review, the pastries we ordered were incredibly dense, heavy, dry - not enjoyable to consume.. definitely not the calibre of pastries you would expect from a cafe claiming to be an authentic and quality French patisserie?? We ordered the escargot, chocolate croissant and the ham and cheese croissant. The hot chocolate was basically milk, not much chocolate flavour either :(

Highly recommend! Food 10/10: Started with the Pain Au Chocolat. Very fresh with the right amount of chocolate, not too over powering. Entree was the Croque Madame. SUPER DELICIOUS! Didn't realize how big it was going to be. The bread was toasted perfectly while being buttery. The ham wasn't overly salty so everything was just balanced. Dessert was their warm apple tart with ice cream. Just yummy! It was thin, apples were tart to balance the sweetness and was drizzled in honey or caramel (wasn't sure) Drinks 7/10: Bellini was not as sweet which was good. But still not my favorite. Matcha latte with oatmilk was better. Not out of this world but delicious. My friends said the coffee there was one of the best though. Service 10/10: Super nice staff, attentive and welcoming. They didn't rush us (group of 5) when they had a wait list going. Note: it's a small spot, first come first serve kinda thing. Not great for large groups and might be uncomfortable on a super hot day. But worth it because the food and service was amazing!

Everything I’ve ever had at this gem has tasted incredible. Friendly, warm staff and an atmosphere truly feeling like a fresh stop in Paris. Love hearing French spoken around the place! Must try the bread pudding, salmon breakfast sandwich, and French toast!

A small French cafe hidden in a lane in FiDi. It has limited seatings so it’s better to come in a smaller party size. The cafe is flooded with customers and there’s always a line. Strong recommend joining the waitlist on Yelp/Google ahead of time. You can also enjoy 10% off if you check in on Yelp. * Croque Forestier w/ Egg Sautéed mushroom and brie enveloped in a grilled sandwich, seasoned with creamy truffle béchamel. The bread was perfectly toasted to a golden hue with a buttery aroma. I’m a fan of croque monsieur/madame, and they have many variations and add-ons on their menu. * Salmon Brioche w/ Avocado It was quite bland tbh, lacking the depth of flavors I was expecting. I thought their brioche bun would be more buttery. It would be even more boring if I didn’t add $4 for the avocados. * French Toast The two pieces of brioche bread were literally drown by the hearty number of blueberries and almonds lol. It was great but not remarkably special. The center of the bread wasn’t custardy enough. I need to dip it into the maple syrup to make it moist.

So…usually French toast is soaked in an egg/milk mixture before being cooked right? Just look at the picture. I paid $22 for bread and berries. Edit: Owner gave great service when I received French toast that was not made correctly and refunded me. I honestly don't think I would've enjoyed it if it were made to their standards anyway, given that it was overly sweet even though the bread wasn't soaked and the outer coating didn't taste like vanilla or anything that would give it some flavor. If you love brioche, you may like it though, as the bread itself was very good.

I came here bright and early for some brunch and it was SO good, there’s a bit of a wait but nothing too crazy. The croque monsieur was amazing but a bit heavy for me personally for breakfast. My favourite was the French toast!!

Cute little spot. Emphasis on little. Delicious and good service. Limited seating inside and out, we timed our arrival just right but definitely worth the wait if you have to.

The café is small, nice and has that certain something. The range of food on offer is great. The coffee was very good. All dishes are lovingly prepared and tasty. The Servive staff is friendly. If you haven't made a reservation, expect to wait a while. It is worth to wait!

  • 4/5 Julia H. 9 months ago on Google
I was disappointed with the coffee I got. Both cappuccino and cold brew were watery.. and the milk foam part of the cappuccino was even not creamy. Almond croissant was ok. It was huge so worth the price. I would like to visit and dine in for their dishes next time.. might not with coffee.

Great cozy spot for breakfast or brunch. Went with my girlfriend at 11 am on a Sunday and only waited 10 minutes for a seat. It got really busy quickly after that. The French toast and chocolate croissant were our favorite.

Best breakfast place in this area. We got there right when they opened and were able to get a table right away. It gets very busy quickly because it is so good. The coffee was amazing and we tried a few different dishes. Highly recommend this place for breakfast and brunch.

What a lovely place to have a sumptuous Sunday brunch. The only thing sad was the 30 mins wait but other than that I loved the overall experience. A tablet in the front to do fast and easy check in and track your waitlist. Amazing bakery items. Latte and Hot chocolate were top of the world and then a variety of breakfast options. Staff was super efficient and quick in serving us. I strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a breakfast joint. Pro Tip - You can reserve in advance and that way you don’t need to wait a lot.

I just found this place a few months ago and finally went to this place in this morning! I heard the line is really long but could be here without no line at that time! Ordered today of the soup, Cauliflower soup which is very creamy and pure! The yogurt granola was great!! Especially the french toast was awesome.. The toast was so puffy and not too sweet as well. Everything was great! Gotta be here very sooner!

La Parisienne is an intimate French cafe. It is walk-in only. There is always a line outside. This small cafe has a soothing contemporary blue, green and white decor. It's casual yet cozy. Their servers are always friendly and fast. Their food and drinks are good. Their sandwiches are done well. There is a shelf if you are interested in picking up a few grocery items on your way out.

A slice of Paris in lower Manhattan. If you’re looking for outstanding food (baked goods especially) then make this a must visit. Top recommendations: Curry chicken salad sandwich, French toast, ham and cheese croissant, cappuccino. Enjoy your mini vacation in Manhattan.

Loved the food! Warm green bowl was EXCELLENT. Salmon sandwich was great, we added an egg on top. Delicious ice mocha, took it to go. Almond croissant melted in our mouth. Sitting outdoors on sidewalk with loud cars and trucks going by wasn't the greatest, but the food and excellent friendly service more than made up for it.

  • 5/5 Johanna W. 2 years ago on Google
This quint Parisian restaurant is wonderful! The atmosphere reminds me of the cafes in Paris. They even play French music. Pretty good music. The staff are friendly and fast. My husband and I are foodies, so we have expectations 😂. We loved this place that we returned a second time before we fly back home. The food was delicious. 1st time visiting had the forestier and the 2nd visit I had the chicken brioche. My husband had croque monsieur then the 2nd visit had the Forestier. 1st time had cappuccino with oat milk and it gives the cappuccino some sweetness so no need to add sugar. I’m going to start making my Capp with oat milk when I get home. This place is a must try if visiting New York.
