New relatively airy rooftop hotel bar. A nice casual date place. They have cold sandwhiches and several types of popcorn for food and beers, wines and cocktails on the drink side. The new Yorker sandwhich was tasty enough to order again, albeit a little salty. The restrooms are unisex and in the inside portion of the bar. Thus far they are better than average for NYC.

Cute, small venue, great view of the Empire State Building. Good drink choices, limited food items. Great place for friends to gather.

I'm not a real bar guy but thought I'd share about this place. Happened to come here with some old friends after dinner. First of all, all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. One small complaint is the elevator system. They have one dedicated for the rooftop but it's slow and allows for stops along the way. The operator said that one of the two regular elevators was under repair so hopefully it will improve soon. But you get upstairs, make a right and go outside. At first you see some of the seating and high top tables directly in front. But you make that left to see the bar and look up - BAM! Possibly one of the best unobstructed, close up views of the ESB! I mean I live here but that view did NY proud. The drinks are probably in the range of fancy NY bars (my 5 borough beer was $10). But nice mix of seating/standing options. Like someone else said, check it out before it gets more popular! Note that since they're in their probationary period with their liquor license, they have to close at 11 for now.

One of the newest rooftop bars location in Midtown! Very cozy with nice ambience! Usually it's not really crowded and there is a lot of seating space! The rooftop have amazing Empire State Building view! Great variety of drinks! And the server were amazing , very friendly and efficient! They also have really delicious appetizers!

The drinks were good, nothing crazy, but the service was by far some of the worst I have ever experienced. My husband and I waited over 20 minutes to be waited on and once our drinks were gone, we again waited, we eventually just went up to the bar to get our bill. It was a great view though and very open, only a few people there on a Saturday afternoon (our waiter stood behind the bar talking to coworkers), we also chatted with others who were leaving and said they had a similar experience. The saving grace was a magician they hired to entertain, he was awesome!

We had such a great time tonight at the Lookup! Amazing views and such a trendy space. Drinks were on tap - I recommend the #5 and #7. It was a great atmosphere with a lot of young professionals on an early Friday evening. Will definitely be back!
