The place has a great view. The food is average definitely over priced they serve it in a boxes. The manager Vicente has a programed speech to when ever you complaint about something and just makes up their mistakes with cheap shots.

They’re selling free reservations online via Eventbrite once you get there they tell you there’s no space (it’s 5:30 pm) , but the security guy allows highly dressed people on right away. Discrimination at its must.

Would’ve been nice to try this place out, but unfortunately the hostess and bouncer liked to pretend that if you wait in line as a walk up you’ll get in at some point....yeah no. We waited AN HOUR with two parties of two ahead of us and no one else there before evening reservations began showing up. When we were “next” I asked if they were going to allow walk ups still or if they’re at capacity, the hostess waived me off ( literally with her hand ) and said reservations only without even looking me in the face. The least you can do is let a line of 30 people behind us at that point that they’re wasting their time. There are WAY better places in the city you can spend your money or try than this tiny place at the top of a hotel that is now *permanently closed.

Still one of the best views in the city and always plays the best music! Because of covid-19 seating is limited. Better to make a reservation so you can guarantee a place to sit.

Great spot for group dinners. The cocktails are delicious. We ordered the chefs choice. The food was delicious, fresh, tasty and well prepared. Our reservations were made in advanced. The greenhouses are warm! I say this because we went in the beginning of February. The coldest time & we were warm. The music is great. Overall it’s a great time! The servers, bus boys and management is great.

The best of this place it’s the view ! The staff are so rude, specially the hosts I think she don’t like work there and treats all guest like a trash. The food are regular but overpriced and the drinks it’s ok but it’s extremely over priced. Don’t waste your time and money oh this spot, look another options in Manhattan i promise, you going to be better anywhere away from Savanna. Never go back there !

I wish I could give no stars at all! Great view but the service and food was horrible.

They treated us badly, they kicked us out after 2.5 hours after having consumed 1600 usd. Also before going up they told us 1000 rules for the covid and they threatened us that if we did not comply with them, something bad would happen to us. We went up just because it was a friend's birthday and they were all upstairs. Bad attention.

It was a great experience. Attendants were observant and ambiance was great. Views to die for. Will definitely be back and that grilled Adobe chicken taco was the best I have had. Can't wait to go back

The location is about the only thing this place has going for itself. The front desk staff is disorganized, and my waitress clearly hates her job. She took her sweet time coming to our table after the servers told her several times that we were waiting, and after she took our order she went MIA and forgot some of our order. However, the bus boys were very helpful and attentive when they saw we weren’t being served in a timely manner and brought us what we needed. The food is mediocre; the edamame hummus, which was more like a dip, actually made me sick the same night. Also, there are no vegan options here which limited what we could order. the guava margarita was pretty gross too. Please don’t wait on the long line to get in. NOT WORTH IT.

This establishment is located on top of the Z NYC Hotel. My experience started with the greeters at the lobby. I was greeted my Iris and was able to get my party a spot because reservations were highly recommended. At the roof top, I was greeted by the beautiful scenery of greenhouse seatings, outdoor lighting, a combination of low/high table seating and the perfect view of the Queensboro bridge aswell as the city. We ordered Carne Asada tacos, Coconut shrimp, Strawberry/Nutella Crepe, and the Keylime pie. All were delicious 😋

Here's is the most honest review I can give you: THE VIEW: is amazing and worth it if they allow you to take pictures. We got away with it because we took the last reservation time and everyone was leaving. THE FOOD: was amazing! We had the sliders, chicken tacos, spinach artichoke dip, kale salad and the Guacamole. They only have appetizers but everything I tasted was amazing except the Guac, that was just ok, it's like they ran out of lemons, onions, and cilantro for that🤣 THE DRINKS: I was told by my friend the international was good, I tasted the coconut mojito and regular mojito. The coconut was better, could be because it was an individual drink. The regular mojito we bought in a carafe and that tasted like cheap margarita mix, they didn't even put mint in it. Wasn't impressed. My biggest issue is how SMALL the sky box is. It looks so big on the website. We rented one for 7 to 10 people, we took 10 but the table really only seats 8, there is barely any extra width or length to this. It just felt like a shoebox, however the lights were pretty though. I enjoyed the food and view, but probably wouldn't go again.

Nice rooftop but with all the warnings that don't move without your mask and the bouncer constantly telling you like a threat don't make me go up, made what was supposed to be a great birthday celebration for my friend just not the best. Extremely over priced though the mojitos tasted good. But on the other hand they had one or 2 if much waiters for a busy Saturday evening. So to get your order in took forever. Not a place I would go again.

The Igloos that the advertised that were supposed to be heated, were FREEZING, no heat at all. We reserved one so they could of at least let us no in advance. The food was mediocre at BEST. Definitely not worth the reservation or to be freezing all night. We had to send our food back a few times for poor quality, but honestly you could of got better food at an Applebee’s. This place is not at all what Is advertised. Also the bouncers were so weird, kept giving me and a friend of mine weird comments and asking about our personal lives so unprofessional

My friends and I booked a table for a cute Halloween celebration while also social distancing. We had a reservation for 9PM and didn’t get seated until nearly 10PM. The wait staff was unprofessional and rude when someone asked about their food because of a food allergy. The server literally laughed and said ‘are you joking?’ and then said that the food didn’t contain any of the allergens when they in fact did. The only great parts of this place were the views, the concept, and the manager, V. We Stan him.

Waited 1 hour, the bouncer doesn’t know how to treat people well. I saw them discriminating people and pulling people out of the line when it was suppose to be in an order. The only thing that saved the day was the bartender Francesco and our waitress Kate who changed our table to a better view. This place’s management needs to value people that come here. You need to let people make reservations and retrain the staff downstairs.

Was alot of fun , if you want the whole experience come at night.. Drinks was strong and food really decent. Staff here are very timely and cordial. Would definitely come again make sure to reserve week in advance.

Drinks were amazing, view and service were great, food was shockingly bountiful, plenty of cilantro on the chicken tacos, onions in the artichoke dip, and just a great time over all.

Staff was very friendly, but the waiter was slacking a little bit. Not sure if it’s a policy to let people have a certain amount of drinks for a certain amount of time because it took quite a while for the waiter to ask me if I wanted more drinks when it was pretty obvious that I had finished mine(I had 3 drinks in total). Food was okay and the DRINKS were Amazing!! I didnt like how many times they came over to my table to ask if we had a reservation for a scenic table, which I did. They were overbooked and looking to make ppl get up from there tables to give to others. How rude! Also the cleaning in between the guests is with water and that includes the Indoor little house on the roof. No Disinfectant used.

Met up with some friends for a Friday happy hour drinks. We had an amazing time, the manager on duty even had us test some seasonal cocktail. We even made friends with other patrons. We had to make reservations.

The view was good. Food was ok. Service was very very poor. You have to ask your food every now and then. This is one place I’ll never go back, and won’t recommend to anyone. If only there’s one attentive staff asking us drinks every 5min they could make our experience better.

Ambiance and food was amazing. Now the service, I'll just say I didn't appreciate waiting 20 mins before having to flag down a waitress. Didn't appreciate that our both didn't have a little space heater like the other booths did. However our second waiter was very attentive, efficient, and accommodating. Even took our picture for us. The drinks were great, staff was attentive, food is in small portions and over priced, but I ended up ordering two taco orders because they were very tasty! I recommend the sliders too. They have more larger tables than smaller ones, so I suggest coming with a party of 4-8 and before 7pm so that you get seated faster. COVID precautions are in effect. I would definitely come here again.

My friend took me here for my Birthday! Best decision ever. Service was impeccable, DJ played great music all day, food was yummy and oh my the drinks were delicious. The highlight overall was the View (Sunset)it was amazing!

I just had dinner there. It was a pretty experience, the hostess is so nice and communicative. I would recommend making a reservation in advance. Me and my boyfriend stayed a short period of time because it was too windy and we weren't prepare for it so make sure you bring a light jacket. Nevertheless, the view is mind-blowing, the music create a great vibe and staff in general is very kind.

A true experience!! We had a blast! The place is very nice and clean. Safety precautions are highly imposed! You can’t go wrong with the view. We started with the Mezcal Margarita and shrimp tacos.
