So much about the Concourse your surly to have one of the greatest advantages of life .. Edgar Allan Poe house is located there .. Now need I say more. Remember the Jewish communities came upon the location and made most of what it is today fabulous and amazing. Enjoy the history lesson. Who know you just might move to The Bronx .. I DID!!!

161st between Grand Concorse and Morris Ave. Starbucks, Duncun Donuts, Checkers and Walgreens located on 161st on Morris Ave area. Easy pickings, Rainbow and Danice are my quick sneaks sales stores. You never know what will find. All about the quality. Food Bazaar full service supermarket, the best rotisserie chicken. Sadly, Payless Shoes is having a 40 to 70% going out of business sale.

I took my grandsons to the movie cinema to see Mario Brothers. The movie was great as was the seats but the theater concession stand could be more organized. Visit @royal_jim_collections on Instagram

When I go here it's to to grocery/ meat & seafood store. I love the store for stacking up on my meats and other none perishable items. They have a wide variety of vegetables and fruits. Lots to choose from. Make a list you might walk out with more than you went for. This time the elevator from the parking area was out of service. Which was expecting it was in need of an upgrade( but I missedπŸ˜‚). So I didn't buy as much as I would like to but. I might go back before Christmas. The plaza has more stores and food area. And it is accessible parking is good too.

Parking is important. If buy food from Food Bazaar parking is free. Food Bazaar's security or Manager stamps the ticket once you present a receipt.

I used to work around that area. It still is the same, nothing special. The stores are ok, Bank Of America- just ATM'S, supermarket ok. The area needs to be a little more lively. Only go to that small mall when needed.

I use to go to this mall when I use to live in The Bronx from 2009-2013. That place was excellent and it had movie theater, dermatologist for my health and more. They treated me like gold and super convenient right by Yankee Stadium right by the subway 4, B, and D train. The Bronx was better then Staten Island and I wish I was living in The Bronx right now.

Just so people know.. you don't have to pay to use the parking lot if you go around the corner there's an entrance to a free garage. I never would've known this if it weren't for my neighbor letting me know so... Free parking!

This is where the Hibachi restaurant is located. It also has a few clothing shops like the Rainbow shop. There is also a Social Security office located in the complex. Parking is available right in the middle of the plaza… pretty organized. It is also close to Yankees stadium a d several law offices and courts.

That's my go to spot. Walking distance for me. Has a little bit of everything Would not make a trip there if I lived somewhere else. Decent food all around. Can get your drink on at hook and Reel And the theater has just been renovated so that's nice. They're also outside vendors selling Mexican food Best of all Yankee stadium is just right up the block.; And of course parking but it ain't cheap,

The environment around the supermarket area can make one feel a little unsafe at times. All the construction or fencing in the middle of the top parking area really takes away from the view. The restaurants do provide good service.

Took my grandson to see teenage mutant ninja turtles. Haven't been there in years. It looks really decent from years ago when I was taking my children. Last time was on a date with an old clown, so it's a huge change since 2018.. I will go back again with my grandson.

Pretty good a lot of crime here but the Court across the street have police that don't do their job so make sure your safe and keep your belongings with you. Prices are average not too expensive there is also a place where you can get everything you need in a store.

The parking price is too expensive. They charged me 20 dollars for less than an hour when I visited Hibachi Restaurant

It was better when there were more stores, but since covid, a lot of shopping outlets have closed or relocated. It's really a shame because I used to like coming here. Now it's only a couple places to shop, but not worth the time, plus since the big mall with BJ's, target and so on, most of the stores at Concourse Plaza just couldn't keep up with the lost of the little customers they had... Sad.. I have noticed some bootleg stores did pop up, but none worth your time, I truly hope one day things change for this place. Thank goodness Food Bazaar is still hanging on!!!

I went here and it was good. I don't have any complaints. You get 2 movies for 5 dollars each on Tuesdays with your star pass. The Munchie are a little expensive but they're worth it. They have wheelchair accessibility and 4hrs free parking but you have to validate your parking ticket. I recommend this place.

Yes I went to Popeyes and I was going to buy a chicken dinner, but when I looked at the price they wanted for two pieces of chicken one biscuit French fries I became a little disappointed because for $9.00 for that at least they could have gave my one more piece of chicken, so I left to find me a better chicken place that is much cheaper.

The is no sign if the theater is open here, the never answered the phones before the whole pandemic started, they don't answer them now. I'd love to be able to support my local theater, but they make it so easy to go to AMC. UPDATE***: They are open, I think they should still put a 'we are open' sign up, to let the community know. They still don't answer the phone, but the staff is still nice. I honestly love the movies and used to go maybe 3x a week. With other stores in the mall leaving, I want them to stick around.

I love going to the Concourse Plaza. Love all the stores. I am little disappointed that the CVS and Danice isn't there anymore. But Glad to see a Hook and Reel is there.

I love this sketchy run-down, neglected car park masquerading as a strip mall. CONSISTENTLY Greeted at the entrance by bums begging for change, dollars & food, there's a rotating cast of maybe 3 or 4 permanent fixtures whose palms are open + turned toward the sun + arms out-stretched, always reaching out for your money, ready to take and grab in less than a moments notice. If you venture into one of the few entrances (it's mainly on- ramps for cars coming off the avenue) you will likely pass the bootleg street art (art school reject siloettetes, bootleggers airbrushed tee-shirts and awful lingering charcuterie experiences. There's a mega super market which seems to be the main draw. Behind it is the graveyard: a staircase that leads to nowhere. The remains of a petland discounts. remnants of an invisalign-type dental storefront. This place has got it all! You'll step over heaps of broken glass from the recycling machines, You'll smell the meat isle spilling out from the Food Universe entrance only .75 kilometers away- Blood. Sawdust. Heroin addicts in withdrawal! New Yorks hottest new nightclub is " BX6 " But don't forget to ask someone for a reciept because the select bus is a magnet for undercover cops just looking to get a party started!

Aside of government for corporate business matter is concern like the social security office etc. The concourse plaza is a good place to shop as well as to entertain your self including eating and watching movies at the movie theater in such plaza and the Chinese buffet ain't bad either.... Sincerely Mr. Sicopata VIP.

Foods were not tasty. There is no name card with the food so, it is not possible to understand what is inside the food fish or chicken or pork or beef. Who doesn't know the food he or she need to take the food and check what is that. I love Sushi but that was not tasty also. They should use the name with food. There was nobody to answer me. The bath room was disaster. Too dirty to use. Only the fruit was good. I will never go again.

A little lack luster for my taste. The people who work at the stores on the plaza are rude and sometimes even mean. Me and my friend got yelled at in the department store that just opened up because we were browsing for what he felt like was too long I guess. He finally told us if we aren't going to buy anything we can get the hell out. That was rude and i will not be doing business there.

Disappointed I guess it went wrong for me the movie was good.the food was trash let me be real this was on a monday.i purchased my ticket online place was empty but one lady at ticket booth took over 20 minutes to correct issue's. So only the ticket person knows how to scan for my ticket I had to wait behind the lady .staff was nice but they are not organized I was not happy at the end the guard shows me the exit I believe it was front area no parking lot place empty so scare for my safty .all that I seen new is some chairs would never go back to this place.

Parking is more expensive than the movie tickets! Theatre never actually gets dark. Image needs to be refocused. Bass is weak. Chairs don't fully recline. Bathrooms aren't clean...

Today I went to New York to visit and decided to go and eat at hook and reel with my mom who has alzheimers she wondered off and got lost I called 911 they never showed up so the security officers from the plaza were the ones who made their priority to help me find her they took a snap of her foto from my phone and began searching after approximately an hour or so one of them said we got her they are amazing.

Some stores are a hot mess. Popeyes had Sprite and it was seltzer water lol. Rainbow sometimes is a bit messy as in clothes too closed together but not bad. Discount store a lot of things but customers be rude of course like a woman stole and used the kid backpack to take stuff. Workers tried to ask her if she paid the lady act like she didn't know what was said until the worker spoke Spanish lol she got shocked and called the worker crazy. Movie theater always clean always comfy with the recliners. The buffet clean too and gets crowded but still a lot of food options

It's a cool little mall nothing big. It's a place if you trying to get a quick bite to eat or go get a quick outfit for you or the kids. The supermarket that's in there is nice but can get crowded. But overall it was nice.
