Came here on a Friday night and the restaurant was at capacity. I highly recommend a reservation in advance if you want to dine here. The vibe of the spot was nice, it was well decorated and the acoustics were good. We tried a few of the dishes that the waiter recommended and loved all of them - papaya salad, royal pad tai, Chilean sea bass and we also had the taro dessert with coconut ice cream. Yummm!

Man o man the food was excellent! My lady and I decided to go there on Saturday night without a reservation. We only waited about 15 minutes to be seated. The service we received from our waiter was excellent. I had the best pad thai I’ve had in my life. The ambiance of the place was amazing, combined with the decor made for a great night. Try out their cinnamon ginger tea when you are done! Will definitely be back when I’m back in New York

The interior is awesome. But the ambiance isn’t great. Kinda noisy and packed up. For the vegetarian 🍃🌿🫛it’s not a satisfying place. But if you are 🍗🥩you will love it here. Service is OK. You will be spending most of your time just waiting for your server. Prices are crazy for the quantity they offer. Taste isn’t that great for these prices. Overall an average place. Just hype.

Our first impression was....wow what an amazing and authentic setup. The authentic wood carvings, just the right tone of lights and excellent music transforms you somewhere else. Service matches all of the above. Then comes the food, we ordered the mango salad with soft shell crab, Royal Pad Thai, Chefs special and a few other dishes. Every dish was beyond delicious and an explosion in your mouth. Our server "Best" was exceptional. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We changed it up this time - from what we typically order at Thai restaurants. We tried the branzina fish and their 5 spice duck with berry-brown rice. Both were fantastic. We ordered the scallops as the appetizer, and it was fantastic. It is definitely worth the visit. We had a 1.5 hr wait because we did not have reservations. Make sure you reserve a day in advance. The food quality was top notch! If you are not from NYC, or other large cities; you should expect to be seated very close to other tables. This is an above average Thai restaurant. Certainly not the best I've been too. But in the top 10 our of 50 that I have eaten at, in the U.S.

Wow. One of the best Thai restaurants in nyc I’ve ever been to. The food is incredible, quite possibly the best Pad Thai we’ve ever had. I absolutely LOVED my green curry, it was extremely flavorful! And the duck roll was such a great starter. The experience was over the top though because of our server, Tee. He was so friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and made us feel like family! Not to mention it’s such a gorgeous atmosphere. I can’t wait to return! Thank you Tee for the best dinner!

I recently visited Thai Villa and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped in, the warm ambiance and friendly staff made me feel welcome. The menu offered a wide variety of authentic Thai dishes, each bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. I highly recommend trying their Pad Thai—it was hands down the best I've ever tasted! The balance of sweet, tangy, and savory flavors was simply perfect. The staff at the Restaurant were attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations and accommodating dietary restrictions. They made sure every aspect of our dining experience was enjoyable and memorable. The restaurant's attention to detail extended beyond the food. The cozy interior, adorned with Thai decor, added an extra touch of charm. The cleanliness and hygiene measures were impeccable, which further enhanced my dining experience. To top it off, the prices were reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. It's evident that Thai Villa takes pride in offering excellent value for money. Whether you're a Thai food enthusiast or new to the cuisine, I highly recommend visiting Thai Villa. It's a true culinary gem that will take your taste buds on a delightful journey. I can't wait to return and explore more of their enticing menu!

Some of the best Thai we’ve ever had, with classic menu items like Pad Thai but also some more fun and creative options. The place was packed for dinner, and there was a line of delivery people out the door. Even still, the food came out fast and service was very attentive and friendly. Beyond that it’s just a very cool place inside thanks to the decor. All around, a great place to come eat.

Amazing experience! We made a reservation for a table of four around the holidays in December and we sat on the second floor, overlooking the rest of the restaurant. The ambience is romantic, perfect for a date or even a family setting. Food was really delicious and cheap too, for Manhattan. I would recommend the papaya salad and the Tom Yum soup. The soup was amazing.

Great spot for Thai, they have a large menu of both traditional and signature dishes. The prices are expected. The interior had really nice atmosphere but we sat outside so I only got a glimpse. I was not able to get a reservation for a party of 5 but called before hand and got added to a 45 minute wait-list that opened up just as we were arriving. The place was very crowded. I would highly recommend it.

We had an incredible experience at this Thai restaurant set in a stunning environment. Upon arriving at our scheduled time, we noticed a sizable gathering of delivery drivers eagerly waiting outside to pick up orders. It became apparent that something delicious was happening. To our delight, every dish we chose exceeded expectations. The standout was undoubtedly the mushrooms salad, a true culinary delight that left us thoroughly impressed. The combination of the vibrant setting and the mouthwatering dishes made our visit truly memorable.

Great place with tasty food. Little bit pricey, but worth it. Didn't really like the fish dish , wasn't too tasty. It was sea bass in coconut sauce. Everything else was very good!

This spot is truly a hidden gem, and if you're in NYC, it's a must-visit. The ambiance was fantastic, with a beautifully aesthetic restaurant. As for the food, it surpassed expectations; it was both great and delicious. We came here to celebrate a friend's birthday, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was exceptional; the staff went above and beyond to assist us. Making a reservation was smooth, and we were seated promptly. Overall, one of the most memorable experiences in New York City.

Oh my goodness. The positive reviews did not disappoint! We came on a Saturday without a reservation and were able to be seated right away outside. Yes, the restaurant is beautiful inside, but sitting outside on a beautiful New York evening is wonderful as well. Our server was extremely attentive and seemed to be completely in the know as far as the menu was concerned. We ordered a cup of soup, two appetizers and a pad Thai to share. It was all amazing! If you're able to snatch up a reservation to this restaurant, do it! Or do like we did and miss out on the beautiful interior, but enjoy people watching instead and be prepared to be blown away by the food.

One of the most beautiful Thai establishments I have been to so far. The inside is done in a beautiful manner and the food was also as good as the place. The staff was amazing and recommended us dishes that we asked for. We wanted to eat something light and our host new exactly what we needed.

All around amazing place. Drinks were really well crafted and balanced. Atmosphere was well decorated and not too loud for good conversation. Food was truly on point, flavor profile was really well done and artfully balanced. Papaya salad, seafood with duck egg, pork with stick rice. All absolutely amazing, this is an amazing place to bring someone who is a foodie and into Thai food.

Wow! What a beautiful restaurant and esthetically pleasing ! We were seated almost right away! Our food was so delicious! The waitress was nice at first, but rudely waited and watched how much tip I was giving. I don’t tip on tax and alcohol because you shouldn’t and she didn’t seem to be happy! Definitely will be back! Went back today, we’re seated outside. We had a wonderful waitress! Ordered lots of food and mostly was delishous, but the calamari were chewy!

Stunning spot for a Thai lunch or dinner with your date or friends. With their extensive selection of dish, anyone will find their happiness and maybe discover new Thai dishes. I definitely recommend their papaya salad as it’s a classic :)

Tee V, the waiter was amazing! He had good recs and was very attentive. I’ve never been this hydrated in my life. I don’t think a single man has given me this much attention! The Pad Thai and Basil Fried Rice was excellent!

This is my second time here and they didn't fail to show excellent service, amazingly tasty food with a lovely presentation, and, of course, full accommodating experience. Poy, our waitress, had a friendly smile and more than welcoming attitude. I wouldn't hesitate to come back when/if offered!

Came here for lunch on a Sunday. I was able to get a seat in the outside dining area which was very cute. The server was so attentive and nice. I got the chicken and shrimp pad Thai. Very delicious but a little too sweet. Before going I checked with the server and he suggested to go medium or get chilis on the side so will take that advice for next time. Overall a solid choice

It’s been a long long time since my last visit, and I have to say this place just does not disappoint. Service is friendly and proactive, nicely maintained environment, decorations as well appointed as I remembered. The most importantly, the food is as excellent as ever. Quality of food is not affected by Covid in a tiny bit. We order so much food for two people so we ended up taking some home. I highly recommend the sea bass and the braised beef short rib, delicate and balanced flavors that wake up my palate. Will come back again very soon.

Excellent from start to finish. Tee’s service was lightning quick, we were attended to very well! Ordered the papaya salad, chicken satay, royal pad Thai and mango sunrise. The satay and papaya salad were absolutely on point! Especially the curry-like sauce that came with the satay! The pad Thai was slightly lacking in salt/flavor, maybe a punch is spice would’ve been lovely.. But overall 5/5 due to the experience!

Definitely come here with an appetite when you're in the city! There are wait times, but they do, however, have seating outside in a heated area. Yum Hua-Phee Tod (Crispy Banana Blossom Salad) was mad blowing! This has been the best Thai salad I've ever had! Everything came put in a timely manner, and the service was great! We ordered drinks, and they were good also! Everything was full of flavor and was filling!

One of the best Thai restaurants in Manhattan! Ambiance is amazing with gold leaf lighting. Food portions are large can even share. Can be a bit crowded or tight spaces but it's worth for the quality of food. Make reservation ahead to be seated right away.

Amazing Thai food. We loved the curry we ordered. I can definitely recommend Green Curry, Red Curry. Vegetarian dumplings were great too. We also liked the drinks menu here. I would recommend try all the cocktails here. One thing to note, weekends they are super busy and wait time runs upto an hour. I would say plan some middle errand to cut your time.

This place is amazing! Definitely love their veggie dumplings - they have a very rich flavor for a veggie dumpling, which is really impressive. The new dish - soft shell crab curry is really yummy. Not the typical Thai flavor customer might be used to, but it’s really good! Spicy, but makes you want to eat more!

Beautiful dining room, although it is over capacity and borderline claustrophobic. High energy, lively staff, great ambiance, excellent food, plating presentation is mediocre especially at price point. There is no happy hour and they charge $3 for sauces that typically compliment the meal. I just watched the woman at table next to us push their entire table towards us to leave her seat. I’m doing a small shimmy in my corner seat because the food is undeniably delicious. If I decide to return I’ll make it a trio— as I know I would’ve enjoyed my meal given more space to dine comfortably.

I’m a regular at this Thai restaurant, and it never disappoints. The ambiance is cozy and beautiful, making it ideal for a night out with friends or a romantic date. My go-to dish is the flat drunken noodles or something similar. Their Pad Thai and green curry are exceptional, truly flavors that take you on a journey. For dessert, the sticky rice is a must-try. And don’t skip the green papaya salad as an appetizer; it’s fantastic.

Staff were very attentive and fast! •Dishes were overall great! •Atmosphere was really nice and beautiful inside •Unique 2nd floor seating •Waiting area fairly large, and spacious •Great portion given for cost of food Cons •I can’t really think of any just me personally; I wish the calamari had legs haha

The most delicious Thai restaurant I've been to, hands down. Curry was heavenly and Krapow was out of this world! All cocktails and deserts are delicious as well! Atmosphere is stunning and staff is extremely nice and welcoming!

Fancy and gorgeous restaurant but definitely crowded and loud, small spaces. We were spending birthday here and enjoyed the food a lot, but very sad we were rushing to finish on time all the time, even in the end While we were still eating the cake, the server had already started to pack the rest of our cake, and she said that the customers who made the reservation had already arrived (not to mention $15 “dessert fee” they charged) I believe it could be a better vibe here if they stop rushing customers!

Very pleasant staff, great service. I ordered something that I realized was the wrong item, and the waitress changed it without question. Great service. Food was delicious. Recommend getting Kea Mao. Also Curry puffs and Basil fried rice. All delicious. Would go again.

Delicious food, nice setting. Recommend their weekly set price menu. Had a wonderful crunchy duck and Pad Thai were my favorites. Pas Thai wasn’t sweet nor greasy at all

The chicken satay with peanut sauce was delicious! I also had the royal pad Thai and calamari where were to die for! The service was excellent, the staff was extremely attentive and made us feel like they were happy to serve us. The atmosphere was also good and the decor was beautiful. I’m officially a Thai Villa regular.
