Amazing location for a Manhattan experience. Walking distance to Central park, Broadway, Times Square etc. Rooms very nice and clean, spacious enough, bed was large, king size and very comfortable. We were lucky to get the 52nd floor corner room with the best views ever! The only downside is their ecological approach. One-time use cups, plates, and cutlery at the breakfast shocked me. It is wrong! And the room service turned on the dishwasher with 1 cup only, which was ridiculous. But I guess this is standard in the USA. People are more ecological in the EU.

This is one of my best hotels in NYC. The location is perfect. Everything is within walking distance of the hotel. My room was a corner room overlooking Times Square. It's amazing to see so many NYC landmarks from the room. The room is clean and spacious. Also the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. When I arrived at the hotel with 15 colleagues, they did their best with smiles and friendly words to help us check in each the rooms of 15 people. I would like to thank Sabrina and Olimpia. Especially Sabrina makes me happy. She treated me as a Platinum member of Marriott, with a smile and explaining every detail of the hotel. Sabrina also did her best to offer an upgrade room as a Platinum member benefit. When we were asking about to valet 5 cars she helped us with how we could park and explained in detail how we could pay the parking fee. All 15 colleagues staying at the hotel would like to thank the hotel for making great memories in NYC.

This is a great hotel to stay in. Prime location, close to everything and all the staff here are friendly, polite and amazing. Rooms are a decent size with a very comfortable bed. I would only say that the holder for the shower is way too high... it could do with an additional holder further down the wall that allows for directional/moveable direction of the shower spray. Also, $29.99 for breakfast is way too overpriced for what is on offer. Food was good quality, very nice but it is way overpriced and then your expected to eat on paper plates and plastic cutlery. for 30 dollars I'd expected proper crockery and more of a selection to eat. having said that, I would definitely come back to this hotel, I just go out and find breakfast elsewhere.

Excellent location for everything, food, restaurants, Broadway shows. Rooms very nice but it took several nights before they could get the heating corrected in our room. Service was usual Marriott Excellence. However, no usb ports in the rooms and not enough electrical outlets. Towels were thin and hard. Thus only four stars.

Fantastic hotel in the heart of the city!!! The room are a little small but the design inside is so pretty and vintage style. Great location with subway entrance less than a block away. There lots of places conveniently located near the hotel to eat at or get take out. Also there is a Starbucks across the street. I recommend you this place when you stay there, because It was clean, and the staff was polite.

The room 3306 is a dream. Only down side I would say is the cleanness of the room, it’s not very very clean, but the view is just breathtaking and a 1000 times worth it. The staff is very nice. The housekeeping staff is also very nice. Location is perfect ! I was alone for the two first days of the stay and I think the hotel is very suitable for solo travelers. I recommend and will be returning the next time I travel to NYC.

Awesome views of Broadway from our room. Great bar staff. There's a Starbucks at the same bar. They'll happily spike your drinks for you! Great place to stay for a Broadway trip. Will do again!

We stayed six nights in this hotel and we were satisfied with our stay.Location is really fantastic, staff is friendly and helpful….room was small but still comfortable…. It’s clean and a lots of restaurants and stores around…. Central Park and Times Square are 7 minutes walk and subway is just behind the corner. All in all it’s worth the money!

Fantastic hotel in the heart of everything! The rooms are small but the design made it feel surprisingly spacious. BEST HOTEL SHOWER I have ever enjoyed. Amazing water pressure and a temperature gauge so you could see how hot/cold the water was.

The hotel was located in a perfect spot for the things we went to New York to do! It is a couple blocks from the theater where we saw The Music Man and just a few blocks from Central Park! So the location gets 5 stars but the hotel itself was lacking. The rooms were very small and the hotel amenities were few! For the overnight cost I expected the hotel to be more accommodating to their guests. So the hotel gets 3 stars. In total a 4 star experience 👍🏼

Service was excellent. Rooms were quite roomy unlike a typical NYC small hotel room. Very clean hotel. Had a issue with two elevators not working but that didn't keep me from giving it five stars. Staff was great and very knowledgeable. Plenty of restaurants near this hotel and a short walk to times square and central park. Really enjoyed my stay here and look forward to staying here again in the near future.

we loved our stay here! The service was awesome, and the rooms had breathtaking views! Smaller, cozy rooms with individual controls for temperature. The best part of this hotel is that it’s about a half mile walk from just about everything! Rockefeller, Times Square, Central Park, all just a 15 walk!

I am Elite Gold, with 30-45 nights/yr. This is the smallest room I have ever stayed in, even for NYC Midtown. No water for elite members. No acknowledgement or gratitude. This is truly a 2 star (aloft or four points) hotel on a 5 star price. I am not staying here again. Finally I understand Marriott is the 800lb gorilla in the industry however for the same price and location, Accor, Hilton and Hyatt do a better job of making guests feel welcome and maintaining consistency across brand.

My mom and I stayed in this beautiful hotel for mom’s first time visit in New York City. We had corner room with the spectacular view of the city. Bed is comfortable, room is clean, shower is amazing, and staff is super helpful. This hotel has great location, tons of nice restaurants and coffee shops nearby, walking distance to Time Square, 5th Ave. and Central Park. Hotel even served hot chocolate to guests in the lobby on a very cold day. How lovely! We had a wonderful stay! Thank you!

The views from the room were stunning, however with the room having floor to ceiling windows the room got really cold really fast. The heating/ac system heated it up but was instantly cold when turned off, which was needed as it was extremely loud. The bed was comfortable, although a winter blanket would have been more suitable, rather than the thin sheet, given the temperature. The reception staff were lovely and always happy to help with anything we needed. We did however have several things taken from our room that we had purchased during our holiday, which is the main reason for this rating. Two items were reimbursed, though upon arriving home we have noticed more of our things missing. It’s a shame that this sort of thing has happened and put a dampener on a wonderful holiday.

Amazing location. Front desk was always super nice and even was able to check us in 4 hours early. Kimberly gave great food recommendations as well! Comfy beds but pillows could use some work. All and all would stay again 10/10 times

As a travel agent I'm always on the lookout for hotels for my clients. This hotel exceed all my expectations. The ladies in the front desk were amazing! I went to celebrate my anniversary with my husband and they went the extra mile and fulfilled our dream and upgrade us to a corner room. The view of the city was unbelievable! The location of this hotel is perfect I was able to create an amazing itinerary for my clients without a need of transportation, because this hotel is walking distance to all the main attractions. Definitely a gem in NYC

Have stayed here a few times, most recently earlier this year. Prime location, walking distance to main attractions. Close to Central Park, which is convenient if you're a runner. Standard rooms are a bit small (~300 sq ft), though rooms on the upper floors facing Central Park have a fantastic view. Hotel was built in 2013, so its age is starting to show, as some furniture is showing wear-and-tear. Marriott status wasn't acknowledged at checkin (personally I don't care about this, just care about the benefits), though I was able to get late checkout of 2 PM (as expected) when I messaged the front desk using the app. Downside is that Marriott's website advertises grocery shopping service (normally a feature/benefit for Residence Inns), and when I requested this before checkin using Marriott's messaging service, I was told that grocery shopping service was no longer offered, which was disappointing, though Westerly's and Whole Foods are within walking distance. Hot breakfast was fine, though there were days where the fruit and the salads tasted a bit off (not fresh), though I did not get sick. It wasn't advertised well at breakfast, but when I asked staff about gluten-free bread, I learned that they had a ton of options - white bread, Udi's bagels and Udi's blueberry and double chocolate muffins (all sealed in packaging). Bonus was that the staff was really generous about it. Overall, I would come back but there's room for improvement.

Convenient to Times Square. The rooms are on the smaller side (just enough room to fit the King bed) and a little dark, but if you're looking for a quick stay in the City, this place gets the job done. I've stayed here for business and chose to come back for a personal trip. Again, convenient to Times Square and the price is reasonable compared to other locations. Lots of dining options around.

Convenient location for shopping, theatre, central park and trains. Staff were very accommodating (especially Golden at the front desk) and check in process was speedy. Room was clean and spacious.

Waste of money, worst experience, first room the toilet was dirty and the AC wasn’t working. I asked them to change it, the second room there was cold air coming through the window. In addition, the bed was not good at all. I would pay the same price in another hotel with better quality. Not Marriott standard attire all.

Perfectly located near Times Square and Central Park about ten minutes walk to each. The hotel is across the street from many restaurants and Cascade Cafe which is perfect for quick breakfast and snacks. There’s also a Walgreens next to cascade as well. I would say the hotels own bar/restaurant food is awful, tastes like frozen food. I would suggest walking to a restaurant. The hotel creates their own honey and has bees on the top floor near the fitness center. Our view from The room was pretty good, viewing the Hearst building. It was quiet and only heard sirens a couple times. This would be a place to stay again if it’s your first time or want to visit the touristy spots!

Four elevators but prepare for only one to be working. I’m not kidding when I say multiple times we had to wait over 10 minutes for an elevator. The four elevators they have are VERY small. With luggage maybe five people could cram in there. With 35+ floors, you can do the math. Add the fact the only one or sometimes two of the elevators are working at any given time and you see why you will wait forever. If you do end up getting in the hotel and you’re trying to go down the lobby, take any elevator that comes even if it’s going up because by the time it comes back down it will be too full for you to get in. It’s frustrating that they have four elevators where not all of them are working. I tried hitting the restaurant in the evening and no one helped me, so I just went to a local diner outside. The breakfast in the morning was very good. The rooms are very small but they do the job nicely. It really is just the elevator issue. I saw many customers who were as frustrated than I was.

The front desk staff was SO helpful. Victor was able to check us in early, assist us with understanding the hotel and amenities, and the area and went above and beyond to assist us throughout our stay. We came for our anniversary trip and his assistance was a big part of why we had such a great time. The location is perfect, very safe and central to Central Park, Broadway Shows and more. The rooms are up to date and clean. We will absolutely be back!

The staff here especially the staff on the 4th floor (dining) including Eddie are the kindest people you will ever meet. The front desk are also fantastic too especially Gen. Really everyone here are super kind people. You will be well taken care of here.

I enjoyed a wonderful stay with my partner and our 7-year old daughter back in July 2022. Everything is within walking distance, the staff is really helpful, and all of the services and amenities worked great. I want to specially thank Sabrina at the front desk who advised not to book the extra night I thought I needed, and offered me a late check out instead. She could have charged me the extra fee anyway but didn’t, and as an alternative she guided me to pick the best option for my family based on our schedule and budget. She really made our stay extra special! We definitely recommend this hotel for families, and will definitely come back!

A nice hotel at Broadway. "Guest Room, 1 King, City View, Corner Room" was our room, and it had a beautiful view. Some of the inventory was a little aged up with scratches. On that note, the free wifi was lagging. Especially along the day it would just shut down and not work for hours. The staff was amazingly nice and supportive though. I'd recommend that hotel

The location of this hotel could not be better making it the perfect destination for a trip to NYC. Halfway between Central Park and Times Square you will be a 5-10 minute walk from each. This hotel was modern and sleek feeling with seemingly brand new furnishing and stylish decor. The city views are insane, especially if you have a corner room or high floor. We had a corner room on the 19th floor for reference (see photos). There are 35 floors so I can only imagine the higher floors have even better views. The elevators are also super fast making getting to the high floors a breeze. Lastly, the valet staff were phenomenal and very helpful. All around this was a fantastic experience and I would 100% recommend this hotel and return next time I am in NYC.

This is our new go-to for NYC trips. The location simply cannot be beat - easy walking distance to Midtown and West Side spots, and simple subway access everywhere else. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the shower pressure was great, and the elevators were nice and fast. My only complaint with this stay is that we were supposed to have a city view room for my husband’s birthday, and our view was definitely of the brick wall next door. That part was disappointing but everything else was perfect. We will definitely stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay here! Rooms are small, as in typical NYC style, but the view was wonderful and the staff awesome. Pamela at the front desk was phenomenal and accommodated us with a higher up room, early check in and late check out. Everyone was very nice and the location is perfect for first-timers. Right next to a subway and a wonderful bagel place the block up. You can hear everything in the bathroom from the bed so just make sure you are staying with someone you are comfortable with. Overall a great stay and will definitely book again!

A comfortable, clean hotel in a perfect location. Reasonably priced as the location is so great. Decent sized rooms with nice city view in the one I got. Fabulous diner around the corner for breakfast. Definitely recommend. Staff were very helpful.

I'll start by saying the only thing that was missing here was room service. Other than that this place is the best hotel. The location is wonderful. You can walk to the best tourist spots. Tons of great places to eat within feet. Rooms are spacious and spotless. I have to give a shout out to the staff, they were awesome. A special shout out to Amanda Jones, who works the evening shift at the front desk. She was incredible. She really made our stay special. We are already planning our next trip to NYC and totally plan on staying here.

First time here, small rooms compared to what I’m use to but we stayed local to many activities that were planned for the weekend stay. Clean and ready rooms, once we arrived. Customer service was very friendly and accommodating. High floors are always our preference and they did accommodate us; which was awesome plus complimentary late checkout. We’d definitely stay again; thank you for having us.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at! My room had a beautiful view of the city and was very clean when I arrived. Although there are so many things to see in New York, the hotel is very close to many attractions. The staff was always super friendly during the stay especially Gen who helped me at the front desk always with a smile and so friendly! This is definitely the place to stay when you are in New York!

Overall, not a great experience. To be fair, we arrived at midnight (late night flight into JFK), but when we arrived our reserved room had been given away and were then informed they were full. We were moved over to the adjoining Residence Inn and assigned a room with a good city view, but had a double and a twin bed for my family of 4; wife, myself (snuggle up baby) and a twin bed for the kids (ages 9 and 11). Not cool.

We had a fabulous experience! The staff was super friendly and if you get to meet Sabrina or Victor at the front desk they are so kind, helpful, and will put a smile on your face. I had to order an emergency package and they made sure I received it. Overall, great amenities, great staff, and great stay! Will definitely come back.

This place is a factory, get them in, get them out. We stayed 2 nights. Breakfast was exceptionally poor and plastic plates, plastic cutlery and cardboard cups just didn't do it for me. It was so poor. Our shower in our bathroom leaked, the fridge sounded like a helicopter was hovering outside our window and the 37th floor. Bed was comfortable in fairness. Aside from all that, guys on the front door were great and the location was excellent. There are better and cheaper hotels in NYC.

  • 5/5 Jonathan A. 1 year ago on Google
My stay was amazing because of the incredible customer service we got from Sabrina Wells! When we first arrived, we were exhausted from the long travel into New York from Los Angeles. Sabrina was very considerate during check in, welcoming me to NY and giving me the details about my stay. She was very nice, accommodating, and set me up with a great room with a great view. I travel a lot for work, and one of the characteristics I look for when rebooking a hotel is the customer service I receive. Sabrina made this work trip enjoyable. When the staff at a hotel is this friendly, it makes it feel home. Don't hesitate to come here and ask for Sabrina!

Perfect location for Times Square and Central Park. Everything is walking distance from hotel. Rooms were spacious and bathroom was big, bed was so comfortable. I think the rooms need a bit of an update as some of the carpet was coming away and lamps shades had marks on them. The view from our room on 33 was amazing. We never had breakfast at the hotel we went to have a look not sure why they are using plastic plastic and cutlery. There were so many places to eat near by so we did that everyday. Would definitely stay there again the staff are so nice and helpful.
