Honestly I would have given 0 stars but that option is not available. I am not sure if these workers understands the real reason why patients shows up is because of an illness. I had an appointment this morning for 8:30 , while in the building I was called and told my appointment has been cancelled because the technician has called out. So you want to tell me , there are no replacement? if this person died or quit , what will happen? PLEASE STOP PLAYING WITH PEOPLES LIVES , MAYBE YOU NEED TO CLOSE SHOP COMPLETELY. ... UNACCEPTABLE".

Horrible experience both times I been to this place, tonight January 9th 2023 I came in after my husband was ill, the front security was unprofessional and announced to the entire waiting room the purpose of our visit. Major Hippa violation, which made us uncomfortable nevertheless we waited in the waiting room 3 hours to be seen. The doctor despite my fever and high blood pressure did not prescribed medicine for myself but rerouted me to the ER, and he prescribed my husband medicine without any order to take. When we reached the pharmacy to obtain his prescription we had to go back to this facility and wait an additional 40 mins and the anther hour in the pharmacy. Last time I visit this place.

This facility has continued to go downhill for years in terms of quality of service. I've gone there for lab work and had to wait 15 minutes to get checked in because there's one person handling patients and also conducting lab work. I don't think that's the most sanitary also. When checking in for a regular appointment, you have to either wait in the line in the lobby for God knows how long, which will make you late for your appointment no matter how early you've arrived.

Parikh is truly amazing. I went to see her for my eyes and she treated me amazingly. She communicated, let me communicate, answered all of my questions and followed up. I’ve never had a better experience going to an eye doctor. I highly recommend going to her for eye doctor needs. She’s great

I have had my eyes examined by Dr Janki H. Parikh, OD ,FAAO, Optometry for the second time. Each visit has been welcoming, thorough, and helpful. Her new assistant's behavior is the same. They are both an asset to the Valley Stream Medical Center which seems to be slowly improving. 5 stars for them ! The center itself deserves 3 stars at present. Happily, many of the long time physicians are retiring and younger more helpful and caring doctors, nurses and receptionists are being hired. Wait time for an appointment, especially at this location remains absurd, but the care and concern is better. I have found this in Cardiology and Optometry. Dermatology is finally outsourced to a local doctor which is a massive impovement. Choosing a primary care physician that is helpful is becoming easier but still traumatic when your doctor leaves or transfers due to being overworkred. Patient behavior, however, could also definitely improve. Many people arrive argumentative, speak crudely to the staff and have more than a chip on their shoulder. It may even be a log ! ! This I have seen personally, since, I also have sat in the waiting area far too long and watched numerous patient outbursts. It has been my experience, however, that if you treat the overworked staff politely, considerately and in a friendly manner things seem to go much more smoothly . A little honey goes a long way at this center and in most places.....

Worst place they told me only one patient before me I arrived at 120 appt for 130. 330pm I asked wats going on. Receptionist said they are just cleaning the room. 20 min later another receptionist says she's in with a patient. 1 more hour. So ridiculous a 130pm leaving at 4 without being seen!

The front desk at Advantage care on the 3rd floor is Exceptional. Shout out to Dr. Saperstein and her assistant Judith. I was nervous because of all of the negative reviews, But now I am confident I found the right doctor and I am so glad that I did.

By far one of the worst experiences I've had with a doctor's office. Staff is very rude and unprofessional. I've been to other ACPNY offices and haven't encountered this level of incompetence. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

My immediate and extended family have all visited are being cared for the team of doctors here for more than twenty-eight years. We have built relationships with our doctors who have given us the best bedside manner care with referrals for all concerns to outside Specialist for correct diagnosis. I sing the praises for the staff and doctors especially at this location. Dr. Edmond Sarkissian is the best! Through and explains well. The best pediatrician there is Sophia Bichotte-Ligonde.

I have been coming back to this facility for years and I feel like I still won't go anywhere else. The front desk in the 2nd floor specially Ms. Cheryl Smith is very accommodating and kind. She talks in soft manner and friendly way which makes me feel more comfortable with my visit today. Shoutout to Dr. Aquino for being so kind to me as well and through the years I know I can always rely on him with regards to medical matters.

I called Advantage Care on Friday, October 6, 2023 to confirm Urgent Care hours for Saturday, October 7, 2023. I was told the hours were 2pm-6pm. Upon my arrival at 1:55pm I get on the elevator to the 2nd floor to find a dark waiting area! The security guard told me they were open from 9am-1pm! Advantage Care you need to provide accurate hours for your Urgent Care! I found exceptional service at another Urgent Care at Northwell. You have lost a patient.

This is a huge facility. Check in at the front desk might be a little wait and check out too. Most of the receptionist are very nice caring and attentive. Dr. Abeleva is amazing caring and funny.

Horrible practice, they are only driven by how much they can bill your insurance. Took 1 week to respond to a question following an ER visit, to only want to make an appointment just to give me a referral to a pulmonologist, when i had already seen the Dr. 3 weeks prior. Fully aware of my respiratory issues, refused to give a referral without me physically walking in for 5 minutes….so they can bill insurance unnecessarily.

don’t bring your child to Dr. Waterman he’s a horrible pediatrician and Very unprofessional

I have been a client of this location since 2015. It’s in a good location, easy to get to. It’s always been a pleasurable experience when visiting my doctors or doing Lab work. The receptionists are cordial, and very helpful, but most of all my Primary Care Physician is wonderful as well as my Cardiologist and I was referred to the Optometrist and she was excellent as well. The majority of times I have visited the waiting times to get called into the Doctors office were quick, usually within 5-10 minutes. Occasionally it was busy and I waited a little longer but nothing astronomical. Overall I am very satisfied with the service I receive at this location.

Imagine being called and asked to come in at an earlier appointment, and once i arrived, everyone is acting clueless about my arrival. Their service is horrible

Extremely rude staff. Only went here because of how close they are to me and I am unable to travel far alone due to my chronic illness. They are typically rude to me, but I was almost floored by their treatment of an elderly gentleman this evening. It’s typically the people at the front desk that act in like this manner.

Dr. Senghal is one of the best doctors here. Took care of us quickly, kindly, and efficiently!
