Like many hyped-up restaurants eventually do, Kong Sihk Tong has reduced portions and raises prices. We didn’t get anywhere near the bang for the buck as we had a year ago. Once my favorite, the assorted beef is now no more than half its former size. The service has remained consistently mediocre, but great service is never anyone’s reason to come to Chinatown. The quality of their best selling dishes hasn’t noticeably changed. We tried a few new dishes as well. The spaghetti with seafood in spicy cream sauce was nothing special. The “spicy” part was really just kimchi. The black sesame French toast is for anyone that somehow doesn’t like the sweetness of the golden lava French toast, which I think is the clear winner. The black sesame version didn’t even taste like the traditional Cantonese black sesame soup. Last and actually least, the fried shrimp and squid with salted duck egg was to me a failed attempt at blending seafood with salted duck egg. It sounded much better than it tasted. All other dishes we ordered were tried-and-tested safe bets.

Went around 10am, no wait time & we had their breakfast menu. We also ordered from their lunch menu (starts at 11:30am). We ordered spaghetti with beef in black pepper sauce, wonton noodle soup, & golden lava French toast. The golden lava French toast was the star of our meals~ The spaghetti dish was delicious & best way to describe that one is probly "wok hay". And as in the video, there wasn't a heavy sauce for that dish.

It's so cute and feels super authentic. It's fast service and they want you to go just as fast only because it's so busy and the turnover is high. It feels a bit rushed, especially if you are here with friends. The portions are quite big. I love the chicken wings and grapefruit sause. It was the BEST thing I've had. The sause was so good, and the pineapple bun was so fresh, but I think the butter was too thick. The fried rice and ramen are so good and comforting. Definitely recommend the chicken chop noodles. Def worth checking out

You have to go in to get in a wait line You can grab a menu before and while you wait Then you wait for them to call you in (all party members need to be present when called) I do recommend ordering the Baked Fries Rice menu Even though they take 30min, all the food pretty much takes that long Doesn’t really make a difference Try to avoid the water (just like most other US restaurants) tastes like toilet water Came here a second time and tried the peanut butter toast with condensed milk, HK milk tea, and Baked Fried rice with Minced Meat No regrets! Great taste

cash/venmo only! Super yummy hong kong style food! It’s chinese-british fusion. Every single item i ordered had lots of flavor, and was mouth watering. Super cheap, large portions with low wait times!

It's more like 2.5 and I'm being very critical bc I grew up eating this type of food in Hong Kong. The best is probably the milk tea, good strong tea flavor but not silky smooth. I was disappointed with the French Toast just wasn't crispy enough, it was very soft and soggy. The steamed rice roll is not bad. The satay beef noodle just meh ok, I can't really taste the peanut and 沙茶 flavor. I did say I'm being extra harsh. Having said that, I still love 茶餐廳, the vibe and the memories.

Service was on point, very quick and efficient. The food itself was just alright. The curry didn’t have too much flavor and the HK milk tea had way too much milk in it. The best of the dishes was the baked spaghetti, this one actually had some good flavors. All in all, I might try something else here if I come with someone else but I wouldn’t choose to come back on my own for the food

Food was good — typical cha caan teng food but done pretty well. We got the satay beef noodles and pork sausage, eggs, and toast. Music was not too noisy and there’s a lot of space for indoor dining. Portions aren’t huge but for the price, seems reasonable. Service was poor, we were rushed out after 40 minutes despite the restaurant not being busy. Server was super impatient and rude. The food was good but not enough to warrant a return.
