Lily was excellent. We started the tour by me telling her that I’d gone on only one food tour in the North End of Boston and it was excellent. She hoped to exceed that rating, and I have to tell you, she did!! She was amazing with all of her knowledge, her excellent energy, and, being a local, all her insider intel. From beginning to end, the pace was good, the food was delicious and the history was super interesting. Thank you, Lily, for a wonderful tour. My daughter and I would highly recommend!!

Absolutely fantastic food tour. Well planned out, fills you up without weighing you down. It was very informative to learn about the background of cultures in their home countries and how the flavors and cuisines because more westernized. We had so many delicious foods in Chinatown & Little Italy, and Alana & Liz were wonderful guides!

We went on the Chinatown and Little Italy food tour today (September 22nd) and Patrick was a great tour guide through it all! It was rainy and dreary but Patrick got us out of the rain as much as possible and made the tour an amazing experience despite the weather. It was so much fun and everything we ate was amazing. It was great to be able to taste a lot of little spots in what turned out to be a very short amount of time. The tour was 3 hours but it went by so fast, I could've stayed longer. Everywhere they take you is a little shop that is authentic and family owned which makes it even better. There were some food we tried that I wouldn't have otherwise had and it was all still so good. We also loved learning about the history of both areas as well!! If you're looking for a good food tour I would definitely recommend this one! Worth the price in every way.

Fabulous tour of Chinatown and Little Italy with Lily. Perfect blend of history and tasty food! It’s a good amount of nibbles- I should’ve skipped breakfast since we started at 10:30. Wonderful sampling of Chinese and Italian, including sweets and a beer. Recommend!

We really enjoyed our China town and Little Italy Tour with Liz. Liz was really friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. The 9 tastings we had were all amazing, we really struggled to choose a favourite at the end. I would highly recommend this tour and I loved the contrast between Chinatown and Little Italy.

We recently did the Chinatown and Little Italy tour with Mariana who was amazing. This was my 15 year old's first time in NYC and my first time doing a food tour and the historical knowledge was incredible and the food was all outstanding. I was especially impressed because of the four groups, three were local to the NYC/New Jersey area! Mariana was very knowledgeable, personable and overall made it a great experience. Highly recommend!

Wonderful food tour! Our tour guide was very hospitable and knowledgeable. We were in Chinatown during Chinese new year and despite the crowds it was amazing our tour guide was able to make the experience flawless on a very busy day! Would highly recommend this tour!

Yesterday I took my second food tour with this company! It was the inaugural tour of their newest tour option and a slightly different model. We still had multiple (7) delicious tastes and the vendors back stories but they are all housed inside the Market 57. You also get a great introduction to this amazing concept - a partnership with the James Beard Foundation. The tour lets you sample many of the food purveyors (all women or minority owned!)

Great authentic food and history tour of Chinatown and Little Italy! Our guide, Patrick, did an excellent job of planning the stops, keeping us on track, answering our questions, providing a great historical overview of the area and most importantly, ensuring we had great food! We were very full at the end but found room for the excellent cannoli included!

This was one of the best experiences we’ve had in New York. Each restaurant experience was deliciously planned as we effortlessly moved from street to street. My favorite part was learning about the history of Chinatown and little Italy from our tour guide, Patrick, who was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about our shared experience. Highly recommended!

I went on the Tasty Global Bites tour on Friday 9/29. Liz was my guide and she was phenomenal! It was an extremely rainy day that prevented some businesses from opening, but Liz assured that everyone on the tour got a full experience. She told us the history of Chinatown, Little Italy and Nolita, even highlighting some of the women within those histories and our stops. Her food choices were impeccable when adjustments had to be made and she made sure all of us who came out in the weather had the best time. Also the food overall was just delicious. I cannot wait for my next trip to NYC to take the Chinatown and Little Italy tour. I would gladly sign up for any tour with this company. Thanks Ahoy and Liz!

Our family of four (two teenage girls) really enjoyed the Taste of Mulberry Street. We loved the food (rainbow dessert, French cheese, falafel, eggplant pasta, Vietnamese spring rolls and Chinese sponge cake) offered during the tour, which was a good mixture from different cultures. Our tour guide, Liz was absolutely fabulous and extremely knowledgable. The detailed history, the mob stories, the enthusiasm to keep us engaged were much appreciated and welcomed. The cheeses were so good that we went back to buy some for our trip home. Little Italy was one of our favorite areas that we returned the following day to walk through the area and have dessert. We highly recommend this tour/company to anyone visiting NYC.

We took the food tour of Little Italy and Chinatown during our recent visit to New York and it was definitely a highlight of our trip. Our guides Liz and Claire were so fun! Their love for food and people really showed during the tour! The food selections were fabulous and it was just a great time of meeting other people, learning the history of the two areas and enjoying the food. Five stars well earned!

TAKE THE TOUR. You won't regret it!! Zoe was an amazing gracious & a well informed guide. The food has been carefully selected & was in great variety. Not too much walking, but enough to not be uncomfortably full. 🤌

This was my second time taking a food tour in NYC and this one was fantastic! It was really helpful to get myself oriented to the neighborhoods where Chinatown and Little Italy were located and to know where some of the good restaurants were and what to get there. All the food on the tour was delicious and I appreciated that the tour guide either had the food pre-paid and ready when we got to a location or she bought it and brought it out very quickly. This tour was a lot less walking than the food tour that I had taken previously. The only change I would make would be slightly less dialogue about the neighborhoods/restaurant/food/history so that the tour would be a bit faster-paced!

This was an outstanding walking tour of Chinatown and Little Italy!! It was a delicious ten course tasting tour of the area. We were taken to the original and best businesses that we could have easily missed if we had been on our own. Patrick shared a vast and interesting historical knowledge of the Five Points area. The tour was educational and filling!

Wonderful small group food & history tour with Patrick. An easy pace but filled with great stories and delicious bites. We were stuffed at the end of the tour! We’ve done a few food tours with different companies and Ahoy (and Patrick) are at the top of our list. Highly recommend.

My 12yr old daughter and I went on the Chinatown and Little Italy food tour with Ahoy and it was phenomenal! Patrick was an excellent guide and made the tour so much fun. We loved learning about the history of Chinatown and Little Italy while exploring their flavors! I will definitely be recommending this to anyone I know planning a trip to NY!!!

Absolutely wonderful tour! Dana provided a thoughtful exploration of the history of Chinatown and Little Italy through foods and sightseeing. It is an excellent way to get oriented if it’s your first time as a tourist in NYC, or a lovely way to dig in and learn more about the neighborhood as a resident. I especially loved how sanitary everything was. Dana used gloves to distribute every item. There are plenty of options to stop and rest along the way so even though it lasts a while, you don’t get tired out or feel like the food bites are too much at a time. I will definitely recommend them to anyone who is visiting!

Reviewing the Chinatown and Little Italy tour. Patrick was fantastic. Very welcoming, personable, and engaging throughout the tour. We found many places we would not have exploring on our own.

I HIGHLY recommend taking this tour! We learned so much about Chinatown and Little Italy and the food was delicious. Hannah was our tour guide and she was delightful!! She was just a wealth of knowledge, had a bubbly personality, and you could see how passionate she was about her job. I can tell you that you will NOT go hungry on this tour. We had little tastings at each location and by the end, we were stuffed!! So have fun walking around both of these towns, learn more about each location, and enjoy all of the wonderful food. Personally, this tour was my favorite out of all of the things we did in NYC.

Took the walking tour of Chinatown and Little Italy and I would highly recommend this 3 hour tour. it exceeded my expectations because our guide Patrick explain a lot of the history of the area and how the neighborhoods have changed over the generations. One pleasant surprise was the amount and variety of food that we tasted. Patrick was an excellent guide and I would give him 6 stars instead of only 5 if I could.

Recently attended the Market 57 Chelsea Food Tour on the West side. Loved the detailed knowledge! Thank you for the introduction to new foods and a new neighborhood of the city. Besides the flavors, we greatly appreciated the extra conversations generated at each stop, and even the side conversations with tour-mates.

I booked a private tour for my 30th birthday after looking at some positive reviews online. The booking process was smooth and easy. I really appreciated how accommodating Alana was during the booking process. She ensured that all my guests, with dietary preferences, were taken care of and accounted for. On the day of the event, the majority of the guests in my party were a few minutes late. Our guide, Patrick, greeted us warmly and guided us through a delicious food tour around China Town and Little Italy, accommodating us from the start. Not only did we get to try food we would have never tried on our own, but we had the chance to learn about some of the rich history of these two dynamic neighborhoods. To say that Patrick’s presence was a true treat would be an understatement. He was kind, approachable, calm, and easy going. He went above and beyond for us and I cannot thank him enough. I am deeply satisfied by the experience. My husband and I will definitely consider booking additional tours in the coming years.

Had a great time on the Ahoy Chinatown and Little Italy food tasting and cultural walking tour. Our tour guide, Patrick, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Patrick answered all our numerous questions and provided great insight into historical locations, local history, and best of all, all the delicious food we got to sample. The tour had it all, a tea tasting, pork buns, vegetable and pork dumplings, sponge cake, roasted duck over rice, gnocchi with marinara sauce, imported Italian cheeses and olives, eggplant rollatini, and finished strong with a cannoli. I particularly like that the tour highlights local family owned establishments to provide this delicious food. Between bites we walked around Chinatown and Little Italy, and learned so much about local landmarks, the park, and the history of the area. It was a great way to spend an afternoon.
