👍👍 Love this! This cozy cafe had calming energy and a fantastic menu with vegan+soy, soy-free vegan, carnivorous, and pescatarian options. I had the garlic beyond Philly cheesesteak with fries and it was so, so good! The cheese was perfect, not too gooey, not too solid, and the bread was perfect, holdi... Love this! This cozy cafe had calming energy and a fantastic menu with vegan+soy, soy-free vegan, carnivorous, and pescatarian options. I had the garlic beyond Philly cheesesteak with fries and it was so, so good! The cheese was perfect, not too gooey, not too solid, and the bread was perfect, holding everything in a neat rectangle. The service was also very welcoming! They serve wine and beer as well.

Take a leap of faith meat lovers and check out Quantum Leap. Menu is 90% vegetarian and vegan friendly with a small selection dedicated to fresh fish. A friend recommended this place, a loyal patron for many years so I knew I'd be in good hands. Mgr Jenny was warm and friendly the minute I arrived. I ordered the Grilled "chicken" (seitan not real chicken) satay with peanut and coconut sauce, very delicious. Totally enjoyed the black bean quesadilla with the surprisingly sweet salsa and fresh guac and chips. Portions were generous. Desserts are just as divine, even though we had our carrot walnut cake deconstructed, it was delicious on its own. Menu has a lot of variety. Elvin our waiter, was very attentive and never rushed us to order as we ordered one course at a time. Go early to beat the dinner rush and if you're in the hood for lunch, daily specials for $12! What a deal. Next time I'm trying that vegan Oreo shake, or the peanut butter one, or the pumpkin mousse...so many choices.

Quantum leap is a vegetarian spot with many vegan options as well. They do serve some fish as well. The vegan options are clearly labeled with the V next to them. They have great $12 lunch options. I tried the soy chicken katsu which was satisfying and filling. The green tea served with my food was refreshing. The server came back multiple times to refill water.

Pescatarian (mostly vegetarian and vegan) restaurant with a relatively small interior (7ish double tables). They have a few different cuisines on the menu but seem to be popular for the American food (burgers and wings). I got the quinoa leap burger. It came with an iced tea for free. The quinoa/black bean patty was pretty tasty and the burger was loaded with other vegetables that all worked together. It also had avocado and an onion ring for added crispness. The bun was soft on inside and somewhat toasted on outside — perfect for burgers. The cheese however was inconsistent: the edges were melted but the center was still “raw”, they should’ve blow-torched it. Very enjoyable meal.

I had a very pleasant experience at the Quantum Leap. Right away I was greeted by Caroline who shortly thereafter took my order.. she was very sweet. The menu has a lot of options including your good ole' fashioned breakfast and a variety of healthy lunch and dinner options. I had the red snapper and it was delicious. It came with a slightly spicy sauce on top and was surrounded by delicious vegetables and an incredible rice with lentils. They also have interesting smoothies. I had a delicious pineapple berry coconut smoothie. Overall spectacular experience. If you were to ask me, I would say, "Take the Quantum Leap."

Last day in NYC, and needed lunch before doing some last-minute sightseeing. Googled vegan restaurants and Quantum leap came up. It is classed as vegetarian and fish, though, but don't be put off by this. From the outside, Quantum leap doesn't look much, but once inside, this little gem makes itself apparent. The lady serving was super friendly and straight away, bought us over some glasses of water and the menus. The menu had so many choices, and all sounded lovely. They had a lunchtime special on which included a meal and a drink for $12, which we both took advantage of. My husband chose the soy chicken burger and fresh lemonade, whilst I chose the quinoa burger and iced green tea. When the food arrived..WOW... for a simple burger, they looked amazing and tasted just as good. The lemonade was lovely and tangy, and the iced tea was refreshing. Our lovely server kept returning to fill our glasses with water, which we were very grateful for. For desert, we shared the blueberry cheesecake. My husband isn't usually a fan but said he really enjoyed this one, and I agree it was pretty special. In my opinion this is one of the best places we have eaten and at a good price, this is one you don't want to miss.

Ordered the Philly cheesesteak and southwest bowl. Philly cheesesteak has a delicious combination of the red peppers, mushrooms, and sauce.

Ordered take out from Quantum Leap 1st Ave on 4/3/23. Everything was delicious! Had the salmon with dried tomatoes entree, the grilled veggie dumplings, the beyond meat tacos, and the chocolate cake with vanilla topping. Hard to pick a favorite, they were all good. The salmon was a generous portion and perfectly cooked. The greens and mashed yams sides were tasty. The grilled veggie dumplings were nicely cooked and a pleasant change from the usual steamed or fried dumplings. The dessert was yummy. Highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to ordering from them again!

Off menu special was the best no-meat burger I've ever had. It was the Spicy Pepper Thai Burger. Amazing and beautiful to look at. Service was fast, friendly, and fantastic!

Amazing place with lots of vegan options but serves meat and fish as well. I will visit again before leaving NY since I want to try more things! I also loved the jazz music that was playing, the whole décor and the fact that there even was a vegan hand soap in the bathroom.

I met a friend here for an overdue lunch catch-up on a rainy day. My thoughts are usually all over the place but when I was here I was grounded in the cozy atmosphere and simply prepared, delicious healthy food. We ordered steamed vegetable dumplings, Buddha bowl and a quesadilla. The peaceful and relaxed pace of the meal made for an equally great conversation with my friend. Put this place on your list.

If you are a vegetarian you MUST go here. I got the soy chicken katsu plate and the berry smoothie. I felt like I was eating a home-cooked meal, but one that was elevated and sophisticated. Can’t wait to go back.

Top Adresse in NY! besseres Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist in der gesamten Stadt nicht zu finden. Vegetarischer Burger und Bowl sind richtig lecker.

Wow. My boyfriend and I randomly searched a vegan spot near by and found this. Quantum Leap did not disappoint! The host was lovely, the jazz music in the background created a speakeasy mood, and the food options were amazing. We ordered the all day brunch special on a Thursday! I love brunch items and the food was delicious! 10/10 recommend this place.

AMAZING PLACE FOR VEGETARIANS. MUST TRY THEIR HABANERO BURGERS. LOVED THEM. The honey garlics BBQ buns were also great another must try.

This place deserves every single star. I was blown away by the flavor of the sweet potato soup. The Vegan Honey Garlic Wings were also the best I’ve had: the ranch was a bonus. Don’t skip dessert!

Lovely vegetarian spot close to Trader Joe's. I popped in and had artichoke with remoulade. Being from new Orleans, i was drawn to this. It was great! I definitely wanted more remoulade. The chef was kind and the server attentive. It is a cozy place that I would definitely recommend.

This place has amazing vegan food. No matter what style of food you may like; Mexican, Asian, sandwiches, pancakes, desserts, it all tastes great. We have eaten here many times and always leave happy and full. The service is always great as well. We love this place.

What a lovely place for vegans. Went for lunch and was surprised how busy this small place was. I’ve been passing by it so many times and never got in until today. Service was very friendly and knowledge . When I asked for the gluten free bun for my vegan burger, the lady immediately updated me that the gf bun has eggs in it and offered to put it over salad. I got the aloha pineapple beet burger, grilled vegetables and lemonade. All tasted great. Can’t wait to go back and try more dishes on the menu .

We were looking for a vegan friendly place to eat at, and found this gem on Google. If you're looking for good comforting food, vegan or not, this is the the place you'd wanna go to. First, they have TONS of vegan options! We had 2 burgers, the impossible and the Crispy chicken soy burger, both of them were great! And not only was the food delicious, our waitress was the nicest! She was so friendly, helped us decide patiently, she was just a wonderful hostess and really delighted our stay. I highly recommend this place :)

Food and service were both great! Food was phenomenal. Got the garlic fries with an impossible burger and soy chicken burger. Delicious. The burgers are very filling, fries are extra on the side. A little pricy, but that’s standard for Manhattan and the burger was good enough to justify. The impossible burger was great. What really impressed me was the crispy soy chicken burger. Those can be kind of hit and miss, but this is the first time I’ve enjoyed a soy chicken burger. Would recommend.

Great food and service. I usually don’t like cooked salmon and the teriyaki salmon with rice and veggies was extremely good and tasty.

So much choice! Being vegan is tricky sometimes, this place does have some vegetarian and non-veggie options but it’s nice for those to be the fewer items on the menu. The garlic impossible meatball sub was delicious. And I’m hatching a plan to come back for pancakes!

This place is adorable and swanky with great eats! I got the vegan Philly cheesesteak sub. The flavoring and secret sauce is what makes me want to visit again. The service was great considering it was only one person multitasking in the front; she was friendly and patient which I love! I even browsed through a few of the vegan cookbooks they had sitting around lol.

I knew I was coming to New York and I couldn’t wait to try Quantum Leap! It did not disappoint. I had the vegan divas sub and it was the best vegan sub I’ve ever had. The ham and cheese, fresh basil, the sauce, it was perfection. The sweet potato fries were cooked to perfection. The had complimentary iced green tea which was refreshing. Our waitress very attentive and super friendly. I’m glad I made this restaurant my first stop. I will be coming back.

Best vegan dessert in town!! Must try. It’s unbelievable how they make it so healthy and vegan. I haven’t tried their non-vegan menus but I bet it’s fantastic!!!

I came to Quantum Leap nearly two years ago right before the beginning of the pandemic and it was so memorial that I came back during a short visit to nyc. Quantum leap feels like a hidden gem with their cozy quiet space and extensive vegan menu. We felt very well taken care of and the food was spectacular. Highly recommend 💖

Every time we come here the food is as amazing as previous time. The staff is also extremely friendly and helpful. I think this is one of my favorite vegan spots in town. FYI this is not the best spot for a date night, but a place for really tasty and high quality vegan food

I don‘t usually post about anything but today I just had to. I‘ve been to Quantum Leap close to Washington Square Park about 10 years ago. It was my absolute favorite and I would tell everyone about it. So imagine my surprise when I came back to the city and it wasn‘t there anymore. So a quick search later I found this location. And safe to say I loved it just as much! The food was amazing and the staff super nice! Had a nice chat with one of them and she was just the cutest. Thanks for everything! 100% would and will recommend!
