Incredible food and Margaritas. They are known for their margaritas for a good reason. Their food portions are perfect, which I find rare especially for a Mexican food place. You won't leave hungry or unreasonably full which I was very happy about. If you like guac, their guacamole was very satisfying. A nice hole-in-the-wall place where you can get in and out in about an hour. Highly recommend!

This is a fantastic place for Mexican food. We chose it based on Google reviews and it didn’t disappoint. The owner is friendly and service is fast. The food is delicious and authentic. Definitely worth going to this part of the city for a great dinner. Great selection of vegetarian meals too.

The Music was vulgar. Food was amazing. Waitress was hard to find. We wanted to order dessert, but after waiting 20+ minutes just to see the waitress and have her dismiss us, I asked if we could at least get the check. I would understand if the place was crowded, but it was empty. It's a shame, this had been our favorite restaurant for more than 2 years. I hope the owner makes changes, the staff you hire can make or break you.

Love and I happened on to Mamacita's after cancelled plans elsewhere and I'm SO glad we did! This tiny, homey restaurant has amazing food, friendly staff, and knockout drinks. The portions are deceptively filling - we were stuffed for hours.

Great Mexican food for a great price. The ships and sales were fresh and perfectly crunchy with tasty salsa. The service was fast and the price was good. The enchilada was good not great, but still solid. Beans and rice and guacamole were all good. Only negative was the atmosphere. It’s a dark kind of family inside. Does feel the most clean or spaced out and hard to spot from the outside.

Loads of vegetarian options, cooked with no MSG or animal lard. I had the Santa Fe burrito which had a bit of spice for flavor (not hot) made with a whole wheat tortilla, black beans, avocado, and veggies: broccoli, cauliflower, and more!! Indoor and outdoor dining available. The staff was courteous and attentive without being annoying which is key for a single dinner.

We discovered this delightful gem in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood. Very authentic Mexican food. Most in our group were vegan and there were many vegan options. I can highly recommend the vegetable fajitas. Came out very hot and not too much oil. The service was excellent. And friendly servers! This place has been around for 39 years and with good reason! Great vegan dessert

This is not a Mexican cuisine serving place. Don’t fall for it!! Dry chicken wings, Overdone enchiladas, Bland seafood tacos. I would strongly not recommend this place if you are considering Mexican food. It’s a nice place to hang around for couple of drinks! I must say the lady owner was very cordial. Atrociously priced - C’mon - you have to fix your rate card! And then the male owner, after all of this experience has the audacity to ask for 5 star review.

Drinks are strong and amazing. The food is good too, and they give you great portion sizes. Be careful, though. When you hit that third margarita, and you might need an Uber home lol. The drinks are huge from 12oz to a pitcher. The staff is so nice and we met the owner. He gave us free dessert. Nice man. Can't wait to go back again.

Such a great find while on vacation. We had people that needed gluten free, vegetarian... I might move here just for this place. The staff and food are amazing. Edit: I've never been at a place with such personal service. The owner sang happy birthday to my husband with a sparkler candle in his fried ice cream. Save room for dessert!

I'm a first timer in New York, but as a cheese dip fanatic I had to try a local spot. This place did not disappoint! The cheese dip is unique, it has Chili and peppers, the salsa is fantastic. We sat at the bar with Josh and he was so pleasant to chat with 💕 definitely recommend if your looking for a homey vibe in the big city.

What a great little place! The staff is sooo friendly and welcoming. It's a quaint little place with a full bar and some really unique takes on traditional Latin dishes. The seafood chimichanga was the best I've ever had, with tons of crab and nice sized shrimp. I had a tough time deciding on which margarita I wanted to try from their huge list, but ultimately went with the Luck of the Irish. It did not disappoint!

My sister & I came to Mamasita Bar after a long day and let me tell you, they are so welcoming. The entire staff are nice, warm and make you feel like you're home. Our waiter, Hannah, is so cool and down to earth and she didn't rush us in ordering. The owner is also super cool and everyone kept checking on on us to see if we needed anything else. This place is awesome. (They even let a random person off the street use their rest room without complaining. That was nice of them) HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEIR MARGHERITAS!

An unexpected stop after work turned out to be one of the most pleasant nights out! The service was incredible and food was amazing. Definitely recommend for small and large group outings.

If you like Mexican Food you're going to Love Mamasita Bar & Grill! It's a small, cozy and unpretentious place but the Food is THE BEST!! Wow, and I've even eaten in Mexico. The service is amazing, the Frozen Marguerita are awesome! The restrooms were very clean. We just happened to be walking by and found it. We got lucky the host was able to fit us in, but I suggest making a reservation. I wish I could give them more Stars!

The food was very delicious and authentic. The prices are worth the quality and quantity of the food. (Chicken dish is a must!) The owners are very nice and to be honest it felt like a home sweet home moment. Will come back!

Well what a great place to have some amazing Mexican food, there chips and queso was so delicious. My fiance had the pork soft taco and chicken enchilada, she really enjoyed it. I had the ribeye beef and mushroom burrito, and that was so good. I also had a September margarita special, was a Dolce Libra. Oh it was very good too! Service was amazing and the atmosphere was very relaxing.

Food was just ok but they don’t add lard so at least it’s semi healthy. The mole enchilada was pretty good. FYI they automatically add a 20% tip to every meal (even if it’s just 2 people). I guess 20% is standard but you’re stuck paying that even if the service is awful. I felt service was very pushy but my dinner companion didn’t mind it. I suppose it’s a preference.

I had my bachelorette party this past weekend in NYC and Mamasita Bar & Grill was my favorite restaurant (and experience!!) by FAR. The night started with our waitress providing the best recommendations and going out of her way to make sure I was having the best time - followed up by learning that the ADORABLE pup greeting customers and the kindest owners were her family members! The owners were SO lovely (accommodated our big party with no issues whatsoever//went as far as checking to see if they had a sewing kit when my button was falling off) - I would recommend this place to anyone based on the staff alone...and to top it all off the food AND margaritas were AMAZING. 10000/10 restaurant for any occasion/whenever you want to have a good time with great people (and fantastic food!)--- thank you Mamasita (and Stormi <3)!!!

PK is amazing! Loved the reggaeton, the food was amazing, but fell in love with how amazing the owner of this restaurant is. He told the kids it was basically illegal to have the phones out which I loved!

Very good food. I’m vegan and they were very accommodating. I use a motorized wheelchair and they have a portable ramp so getting in and out was easy. Very nice staff. I didn’t drink because I am driving a motorized wheelchair but my friends loved the margaritas.

Guys, this is a must do when you’re in the area! The food is so good, very fresh, and tasted perfect. The drinks are a huge selling point and they lived up to the hype! All the fresh flavors you want, you can customize the tequila, and get the biggest drink in town. We got to meet the owners and they were so friendly! The bartender Hannah personally delivered our drinks to us and made sure that everything tasted perfect! She was super friendly and knows what she is talking about - give that girl a raise! Our server Tracy was so kind and very helpful and made our experience so fun! 10/10 - our best dining experience in NYC this far!

Had the king crab enchiladas lunch special. Food was good, good service. Owner (PK) upheld covid protocols when someone tried to be inside without vaccine proof. 5 stars for that alone. Otherwise you don’t get an authentic local New York dine in experience that often, this place delivers.

We came for frozen margaritas & we were not disappointed! We had the themed Grinch margarita & it was delish. The food was good, but didn’t love the Tres Leche dessert. It needed more flavor. The services was great. The space is small & intimate.

I had the double decker seafood quesadilla. It was the best quesadilla I’ve ever had! We got the sopapilla for dessert and it was so delicious that I couldn’t get a picture. The guacamole and salsa was also wonderful. The service was exceptional and the people who worked there were so nice. I would definitely come here again!

Hannah is extremely pretty and a great waitress. Her energy was remarkable and made our friend's birthday dinner a very memorable occasion. The food and margaritas were also amazing. One of the best Mexican restaurants I've experienced outside of Florida.

One hundred percent recommending this spot. The service is amazing. The food is absolutely delicious. The drinks are spectacular. Could not have been more happy with our experience at Mamasita Bar and Grill. Their chicken quesadillas are so delicious and flavorful. A little on the small side but still filling. I added mushrooms and it was the best decision. Also definitely recommend their frozen margaritas. So good! The 28oz pina colada frozen margarita is the way to go! Now for my standard COVID comments as of September 2022. No one is really wearing masks and the location is kind of small. If you are not comfortable eating indoors and in a crowd, it is not the best choice. However I was pretty comfortable and the service and meal was so worth the visit.

Nice little restaurant in the heart of NYC. My family and I stopped by for lunch on a Sunday. The owner and staff went to great lengths to make sure all our needs were met. The food was absolutely delicious (best Guacamole and chips I've had till date). The establishment is Indian owned and some of the Mexican dishes have a slight Indian twist to them. For anyone touring or living in NYC who hasn't visited this place, I highly recommend it!

By scam I hope you are talking about yourself, because that is all your restaurant promotes, fake good reviews and fake Mexican food. How about you stick to cooking something you might be good at rather than exploiting from other cultures.

I came to Mamasita to have a drink for my birthday and stayed for the experience. The food was awesome and the variety of margaritas was was very delicious, they even allow you to sample different flavors. I will definitely come back again. They were so welcoming they have a forever customer for life. 💜💜
