The place is literally so good. 10/10. Everything is seasoned so well. I feel like so many vegan places in nyc DO NOT know how to use seasoning. Everything we got was good.

So, I always wanted to try this place out and I was out for an evening stroll and decided to stop in. We stepped in and looked around. We just took a seat closest to the door because no one greeted us. As we checked out the menu the waiter approached us and asked if we had a reservation. Which we did not. Then he asks us to take another table because that table was reserved. Which no one ever came for. The food and dinks were excellent! We got there as the kitchen was about to close and got our orders in very quickly and served quickly as well. Foods was kinda spicy, which I enjoy. Drinks were very tasty and well enjoyed. Just make sure you understand what you are ordering. We ordered the cucumber ginger drink and it was strong. Over all nice place and will return to try another dish or two. Love it because it is very local to me.

Tabitha Brown recommended this restaurant on one of her shows, so we went to check it out. It's a small and cute restaurant. It was packed with patrons. The servers were really nice. The decor and mood of the atmosphere were vibrant. The French Toast and the Cauliflower dish, Crying Ryan, were absolutely delicious. Compared to the other items I got, which were: the Lobster Roll, Mac and Cheese, Bake and Salt fish, and AU Immaculate Patty, the French Toast and Crying Ryan took the cake. It wasn't close either. Unlike Tabitha, 🤣😂 where she doesn't give any feedback on the food she eats besides, "everything tastes good," I thought the patty and the bake and saltfish were underwhelming Those dishes had a sprinkle of flavor compared to the French Toast and Crying Ryan. It's worth checking out.

The bake and salt fish was delicious! Seasoned so well you wouldn't know it wasn't actual salt fish. The French toast was ok. Server was really nice and atmosphere was great.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. Everything was amazing—from the decor, to the music playlist, THE FOOD 🤤, the service—everything! We got the fish cakes, smash burger, chicken sandwich, and sides of fries. The fries were perfectly crispy (for me) and the burger, sandwich, and fish cakes were so incredibly well-seasoned and flavorful. The music was 🔥 and it was such a welcoming, laid-back atmosphere. Truly a new favorite!

This is a fantastic vegan restaurant in Brooklyn that I came across during my visit to an old friend's new place who now lives by Ocean Parkway. After I finished walking around the malls to clear my thoughts, I figured I would check Google maps for a nearby place, and this one came highly recommended. I am pleased to report that it exceeded my expectations. Zenaya (forgive any spelling error) and Alexander were both amazing and attentive hosts/servers. Zenaya recommended what I should get from the menu, and hands down, the loaded fries were my absolute favorite. The salad and grain dishes were better choices if I only wanted to eat super healthy, yet tasty items, but I wanted to try (almost) everything as there aren't that many Caribbean vegan restaurants in central Ohio. If you eat here and order a burger, eat it first and eat it warm as I waited too long and probably needed to allow my pallet to reset as the savory notes all blended together. I would travel from Ohio back to Brooklyn just for the food. The leftovers were delicious, and the friendliness of the staff cheered me up after seeing my friend's grandmother with Alzheimer's, which is what my dad had. I will be forever grateful for the food, atmosphere, and service that helped elevate my mood that day. Thank you so much! I look forward to visiting again. :)

Overall rating: 4.9 I never thought we would see the day where I ENJOYED a vegan place 🥹😳 I lovee this place, I love the vibe, I love the people. This is Brooklyn. I had the French toast and it was pretty good. The staff was very friendly. And! I liked that you pay at the cashier, so there’s no figuring out the bill with your friends. I definitely want to come back and try other dishes on the menu. Highly recommend.

If you're looking for a delicious vegan restaurant, look no further than that. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a cozy atmosphere. The menu was filled with creative and flavorful vegan dishes that left me feeling satisfied and impressed. I highly recommend trying, it was out of this world! The service was top-notch and the prices were reasonable. Overall, I had an amazing experience and I can't wait to go back. If you're in the area, don't miss out on this gem of a restaurant.

Not gonna lie the fried oyster mushroom sandwich is probably one of the best I tasted lol hands down. It’s the maple syrup and the crunch for meee. The mix of flavors are delightful. The heirloom pasta was also delicious with the parmesan “chicken” and I’m not a fan of vegan cheese. I also love that they use mushroom as a substitute as opposed to the soy alternatives. Such a plus. Been a fan but always forget to take pics before I eat lol 10/10 obviously. The place is super cute and chic with an earthy vibe. The staff is welcoming and warm. And the food is tasty!

10 OUT OF 10!! So hands down a must try if you are in the Flatbush area of Brooklyn! And if not STILL make your way over! Been here a few times and have had a great experience every time. The ambiance and atmosphere makes you want to spend the whole day there and the food is outstanding. Even if you are not a vegan you will enjoy every bit of it. I can speak for the bake and salt fish, so flavorful and you don’t even realize you’re not eating fish. It’s Soo good (not pictured though) this visit I got to have the french toast and sweet potato porridge. BOTH A DELICIOUS must try. My friend also tried the vegan bacon which for being made out of veggies, which I really appreciate, was pretty good. I like vegan food that is really food and you get that here. Not just tofu and stuff, real nourishing food. The sorrel was good too and the drink selection is creative! You WILL NOT be disappointed!

It was my first time stopping by, and the food was delicious. I've been meaning to try their food for a while and just haven't gotten around to it until just recently. Well worth it, nice atmosphere, friendly staff and I look forward to trying more items on the menu. I took my food to go, next time I ll enjoy dining there.

I had an almost perfect experience at this vegan restaurant. The only two reasons it’s not perfect is: 1) I arrived at the store, told the employee inside I would be sitting outside, and it took 20 minutes before someone approached me to ask if I had been helped. I think the employee that approached me wasn’t on the clock when they noticed I wasn’t being helped by the male server. She took initiative and got my order submitted. I appreciate that. And 2) Another fail is the prices on the menu are not updated and they charge you more than you’re expecting at the register. In terms of the food I ordered the vegan mofongo with ground beef and it was spectacular. Natural flavors all over this Spanish meal (I’m Puerto Rican). They had a great variety of Caribbean food and drinks, including Sorrel. I would come back.

We went on Sunday for brunch, and first at all, the service was terrible. The guy who was there called us in a really bad mood because we sat at a table that was "reserved", we didn't see any sign. Anyways, he asked us to sit in another table, and we did it. The food took like 30 minutes in be served. We ordered French toast with bacon and egg, and one of the things we missed was a syrup for it, also, after they served, the girl came to put the sugar powder on it, when we started to eat already. Was fun, but we didn't like it at all. The green bowl was ok, overall I think that all the plates missed salt, even the fries. Good point because they refilled our coffee without charged. The prices are good, and the environment is cool to grab a coffee or so.

This vibrant place is the perfect mix of vegan Caribbean soul food. There is a plethora of foods and drinks to try. I had the smash burger 🔥🔥🔥 and the sweet potato porridge. The mushroom coffee is also highly recommended. Lastly, they have their own clothing pieces 🔥. It’s a must!

Went to this place with my family since we are trying to eat vegan once a week, and this place did not disappoint. The best menu options are the fish cake, pasta and the burgers. Also I had a soca sangria in that pic. So delicious and the vibe was calm and chill.

I have heard so many great things about this place and I finally had the opportunity to give them a try and let me tell you, the options we chose did not disappoint! Upon arrival, the wait staff were very polite and attentive checking us in. The ambiance was very cute to say the least. Unfortunately the ventilation was not the greatest because we could smell the food all throughout the space and as a result it created a bit of a smokiness in the air. That in itself, also made the space extremely warm as well. That's all minor, if you're someone who does not care about that sort of thing. Seats are also very limited, so keep that in mind as well. Now let's get into the food! We tried the Lobster Roll, the Fish Cakes, the Bake and Saltfish and the Don't Trip. Each dish provided something different to the palate. However, my absolute favorite was the Fish Cakes! The Tamarind Sauce paired with the perfectly blended spices were explosive! I had to ask for 2 more orders to go!!! The drinks were also quite impressive. We had the Soca Sangria and Grass Roots. You could literally taste every ingredient within the recipe. Nothing pairs with a dish better than a well balanced cocktail. Take it from me, if you're in the Brooklyn area looking for a quick bite to eat, do not hesitate to stop by Aunts Et Uncles!

I've been at Aunts et Uncles 3 times now and the place doesn't disappoint. The Space is a vibe no matter the time of day, our servers are fantastic, and it's always a pleasure being here. I'm definitely dropping by then next time I visit Little Caribbean. 🥰

Aunts et Uncles has been on my radar for a minute so I was excited to try it out. The atmosphere gives very casual/brunch cafe vibes. Aesthetically pleasing decor. Accommodating staff. You do have to place your order at the counter, which is fine if you’re placing one order. However, if you’re eating with a group and everyone wants separate tabs - you will order separately and get your food at different times. We sat outside, which was a bit cramped for guests and servers alike - still cute though. Food took way too long though for how empty the place was. I’m sure this is both a kitchen staffing and operational issue. The Big Ting (plantain taco) and Mac and Cheese were not available which was a bummer, especially since I didn’t learn this until I got to the counter. BUT I did get the chicken Sammie and fries along with the sorrel and it was all very yummy. My friend wasn’t feeling the lobster roll but I didn’t taste it. Its about 45 minutes give or take for me to get there so I wouldn’t go out of my way, especially considering the service misses. But if you’re in the area I don’t see why you wouldn’t give them a try.

I make it a habit to review places on my third visit. That being said, this review is based on my experience after three visits. The food is truly delectable. There is a range of complex flavors that inspires the palette. The burger always SMASH. This is a great example of vegan food not being full. The people behind the counter understand service and do it well. Whether it is accommodating requests or checking in to give status and get feedback. Inside the brick and mortar is absolutely a vibe. One area of growth would be the wait time. Each visit in the store was accompanied by at least 15 minutes, at max 30 minutes wait for my food. So very early I made it a habit to also get something to sip on.

This place is truly amazing. All the details that matter are accounted for and then some across a 100% vegan menu. Really enjoyed the Banana Daiquiri and the So Simple Sandwich!

Great place to pick up and go OR to chill with a more classy and cultured Starbucks atmosphere for intimate meetings or small gatherings/dates. Service and candor is excellent from register to owner. We arrived not knowing about the reservations policy for seating despite always ordering to go and instead of turning us away they accommodated us when they didn't have to and were crowded and shouldn't have. That is beyond customer service. The food menu is flavorful and fast. They take care with plating/presentation and I couldn't be happier. I remember learning about it before it opened and I was excited to visit and they have yet to disappoint. Try the taco!

This place is a whole VIBE! Friendly service, delicious sorrel, excellent espresso, but the food really is the reason why you should visit. Started with a hearts of palm "lobster" roll and then had the cryin ryan cauliflower with that spicy peanut butter crust ans then finished with the all green everything pesto and brussels sprouts, asparagus and okra. Transported to food heaven!

The decor and ambiance in this place is straight out of a design magazine! I could sit there all day surrounded by those plants. The Smash burger was amazing, love the warm/toasted pretzel bun & the kick from the pepper. I’d pass on the French fries, they were a tad hard but seasoned nicely. The house salad was perfect with just the right amount of dressing. I saved the best for last: Tia’s Garden! This beverage was so freshening, full of flavor, and a nice balance of flavors.

I had one of the best dining experiences in Brooklyn at Aunts et Uncles this evening! I’ve passed it several times in my neighborhood and finally took a friend with me for dinner tonight. I was not disappointed in the least! From the quality customer service to the impeccable food, Aunts et Uncles is definitely on my list of favorites. I was so impressed by the speed of everything that I didn’t get to take pictures because I wanted to dive right in. I understand why the restaurant is highly recommended. Everything was delicious! We had the mofungo, shark and bake, and a lobster roll. 10/10 would recommend. Can’t wait to go back to try other things on the menu!

Better than I could have anticipated. Super yummy feel good food in a beautiful space that’s inviting and aesthetically pleasing. I got the burger and Mac and cheese and both were phenomenal. The staff recommended the sorrel and again it was bang on. It’s important to know that I am a meat eater but this place has me believing I could go vegan. Tastiest vegan food I’ve ever had. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and if you’re not in the area the trip will be well worth it.

My first vegan restaurant! Small and intimate, it was so yummy, surpassing my expectations. Service was well and the drinks were good!

Wow, just wow! I’d ordered delivery from here a few times and each time they absolutely nailed it. So I figured going in would be even better. They farrr exceeded my expectations. Not only was the food perfectly delicious and incredible, the atmosphere was so calming and beautiful too. There’s dope art and other cools things for sale and the service was impeccable. Everyone was soooo nice too. I really can’t wait to go back again ASAP.

So, note to self: always get a reservation. This place can get packed, but there's a reason for that. The food is so good and flavorful! My fiancée and I have been here 3 times now. The So Simple sandwich is one of the best burgers I've had in my life, and the other stuff is still damn good. So much depth of flavor! At times, there may be one girl working the counter and taking orders, so you will have to be patient, especially if it's busy. Makyla was very friendly and lovely when helping us get seats and food, despite us not having a reservation. But the wait is very much worth it. The venue itself is a vibe and staff and other customers are quite friendly. We are definitely coming back.
