One of the jewels of Manhattan. I love this museum. There is always something good for all the family. Great introduction for kids to natural history. I have been multiple times, and each one I enjoy it like the first day

The American Museum of Natural History is the largest natural history museum in the world with a mission commensurately monumental in scope. The entire museum spans 4 city blocks and consists of some 25 interconnected buildings. The American Museum of Natural History is one of the world's preeminent scientific and cultural institutions. ... The Museum is renowned for its exhibitions and scientific collections, which serve as a field guide to the entire planet and present a panorama of the world's cultures. The "dinosaurs" are the best attraction of this museum. The "dinosaur bones" that you see on display at the Museum aren't really bones at all. Through the process of fossilization, ancient animal bones are turned into rock.

Great family day. Museum was a bit warm and lots of people the day we went but overall it was a great day and we were able to see the exhibits with no problems or issues.

The exhibits are out of this world in terms of quality and accuracy! A great place to visit on your own, as a couple or with the family. You have multiple places to sit down and have a rest or reflect on what you have seen.

((American natural history museum))was beautiful like it always is but there was no social distancing at all. It's not that I honestly cared because because I kept moving. The workers did their best To keep the lines flowing. It's always wonderful even for a first date or just to bring the family.

I love Teddy Roosevelt! A great man and a great President. He challenged the insanely powerful banks and corporations of his day. He protected nature, wildlife and the environment. He had heart, courage and was full of life. Thank you Teddy Roosevelt. Naming this park by the AMNH in your name is just a small token of gratitude to your greatness

Theodore Roosevelt Park is an absolute gem in the heart of New York City. This sprawling urban oasis not only pays homage to one of America's greatest leaders but also offers visitors a serene and beautiful escape from the bustling city streets. One of the park's standout features is the stunning bronze statue of Theodore Roosevelt himself, which serves as a powerful tribute to his legacy as a conservationist and visionary leader. The surrounding landscape is meticulously maintained, providing a peaceful setting for reflection and relaxation. The park's well-maintained pathways are perfect for leisurely strolls or invigorating jogs, and the lush greenery and trees provide a sense of tranquility amidst the urban jungle. The Central Park Zoo, located within the park, is a delightful attraction for families and animal enthusiasts, offering an opportunity to connect with wildlife in an intimate setting. Whether you're looking for a place to read a book, have a picnic, or simply unwind, Theodore Roosevelt Park has something for everyone. Its proximity to other iconic New York City attractions, such as the American Museum of Natural History, only adds to its appeal. The park beautifully encapsulates the spirit of Theodore Roosevelt and serves as a testament to the importance of preserving our natural heritage within our urban landscapes. It's a must-visit destination for both locals and tourists alike.

Serene decent quiet place. lf you have more than an hour to spare and escape from the hustle, can't recommend it more! Might give it a shot if you are a space enthusiast and have heard of Hayden Planetarium or the director Neil deGrasse Tyson.

The Museum of Natural history has very very few exhibits about the great Hindu culture of India in the category of Asian People, ironically Buddhism which is an offshoot of Hinduism finds so much space! Also misrepresentation about horses being sacrificed even today in India! So crazy!! Curators go and see the rich cultural heritage and history of India before putting it for the world to see and conclude anything!

Pretty and close to the museums. It's definitely nice place to take the kids. The food carts nearby are crazy priced so I would bring snacks.

My charming neighborhood park, wrapped around the American Museum of Natural History. My favorite features are: - Delightful seasonal plantings on the Columbus Avenue side, courtesy of American Express. - Giant sprinkler array for kids in the summer. - And of course, the famous Bull Moose Dog Run.

Great place for a quick stroll if you are visiting the American Museum of Natural History and the weather is not too cold. The park surrounds the museum and has it's own charm (visit the Nobel prize memorial/statue for example). It's a good place to relax after getting out of the museum mayhem :)

Worth getting a motorized bike tour through the park. There is so much to see and doing so on foot could take an extreme amount of time. On the Strawberry Fields entrance, there is a guy who does, "Bad Portraits". He was great!

Planetarium seats should be angled backwards so you don't have to break your neck to watch the hole screen and, being me, that I'm very visual person, I'd like to have a shorter plates with short explanations and beside it more information if I choose to read deeper but other than that, it is beautiful and very informative.

Museum has some great fossils, and the planatarium is amazing. But the Indian hall could be renamed and have input from real living tribal people. The museum treats the native exhibit like it is on the past when native culture is still here

Did not try to see all in one day...the dinosaurs, gems and totem poles were just enough for one day....all three have been renovated.... excellent

Beautiful park in the heart of the city. I was just looking for a park to hang out and get some "me time" and learned there's actually a really cool museum too! I'll be back with the kiddos!

Great little park north of the Museum of Natural History. While not directly part of the park, the patio of the museum is accessible from here. The dog run is great as it brings lot's of dog owners together. I can't wait for the construction to end

If Roth spoiled and feel entitled, this is not the place for you to visit, this place is about culture and American History, Best way to get there is by subway, the station is walking distance from the entry, there is a check point just like going in the airport, pack water and snacks, but you could buy them at the ferry or the cafeteria, it gets crowded, but is available, souvenirs are not too expensive so the food, lots of walking but that's a must do to get the "NY City experience"

The team did an excellent job cutting back our vines. They were very careful and put safety first, tying into safety lines. I was very pleased with their pricing which was less than half the bid of another contractor.
