Such a wonderful place to go for a walk either with family ,friends or just by yourself. It is not a big park but it is a perfect spot to scape from the noises in the city. Now it has the statue of liberty. She will be at the 120th street entrance. . Do not forget to follow me 😊🤗enjoy your visit to this new attraction there .

Fantastic park with a many visitors. A long thin park that’s half on a hill. The high side has lots and lots of stairs and meandering trails through the trees with views above and along giant stone walls. The lower, flat side has picnic tables and places to grill, a playground and athletic facilities, a sculpture …

I love going to this park with my little furry friends. Parts of it have been under construction for a while but the rest of it is quite well maintained and a joy to be in.

didn’t realize how large this park is but it is pretty huge and pretty well-maintained for the areas that i saw. Morningside Park stretches from 110th Street to 123rd Street between Morningside Heights and Harlem. The park hosts a bunch of features from playgrounds to athletic fields / courts to a waterfall & pond and more. to me, the coolest feature is the cliff that juts upward out of the park that provides a cool bird’s-eye view of Harlem to the east…after climbing a bunch of stairs that lead to 116th and Morningside Drive reveals a statue but more importantly an awesome sight above the park and to the east. winter probably isn’t the best time to enjoy most of the features of the park but i am looking forward to enjoying them during the warmer months of 2024…so should you!

This park is definitely more that meets the eye. From the cleanliness of the park, to the peace and tranquility, plus the scenery. Not to mention the free movie's in that park. Definitely a great experience.

A very beautiful unique park with many different cool spots to relax. Subway near to it could use some better management though, I think.

A long thin park that’s half on a hill. The high side has lots and lots of stairs and meandering trails through the trees with views above and along giant stone walls. The lower, flat side has picnic tables and places to grill, a playground and athletic facilities, a sculpture of Lady Liberty reclining, and benches by a lovely little pond with a dramatic view of the cathedral up above.

Visited in the summer. Lovely place to visit especially with kids. There are playgrounds, geese, ponds with tortoises and spaces for sports. People can barbecue and have private events.

Beautiful park with a very chilled out statue of liberty. Always peaceful. Plenty of places to sit, work out, run. Whichever is your thing.

A lovely place to wander around in any season. I was super lucky with the sunny weather and a good temperature in December! There is plenty of space for sports, cooking, or having a chat. The park is only a short walk from Central Park and is well served by the Subway and bus, e.g. 125th Street

Narrow strip of land with steep slope, it took a great design to make it a neighborhood place for people of all ages to enjoy. Best in summer and fall where various outdoor activities are popular for the neighbors nearby, from BBQ to baseball game to outdoor cinema.

Great park for walks and sitting on the benches. Great view of St John's on its lower level. There are some geese walking around so I am not sure about sitting on the grass.

Lovely park. Came here on a Saturday afternoon and it was full of children, families, etc. The slopes and staircases offer excellent views and a hilly charm rarely found in Manhattan. That’s said, it’s impossible to ignore the dangerous reputation, as folks are seemingly getting stabbed here monthly… So… great park in the day and with friends, but avoid solo, ESPECIALLY after dark.

A wonderful park in a wonderful part of town. Everyone has their own unique perspective on things, but I personally find that the Morningside area is such a great representation of the upper half of the island. When you explore the area around this beautiful park you'll find amazing and diverse architecture, culture, food, people, shops, and everything in between. While you're at the park be sure to walk up the stairs on the northwest side to the top, and follow the sidewalk south(ish - towards central park) to the statue for the best views. From there you'll be able to see the rooftops and buildings of almost all of Central and East Harlem, making it one of the very best views in all of Manhattan, and although it's wildly different from the scenery you'll get from the observation decks downtown, this one doesn't cost you a dime, and it's equally as rewarding because it gives you such a big look at what lies beyond Central Park.

A long thin park definitely worth a walk! Climbing up the few flights of stairs there will give you a lovely view as well and I would definitely recommend it. I have not done it at sunset but I assume it can be gorgeous too. Overall, definitely worth a calm and nice walk there to enjoy the park itself and the scenic view it gives over some parts of the city. If you walk it north to south you can then easily end your walk in Central Park which will be just nearby.

Beautiful park with morning sunshine. It feels so peaceful to hear children playing and see families gathering here for the weekend. It adds a hint of warmth and tranquility for life in this busy megapolis :)

A small park but because of that, it’s really nice and intimate. It has a dog park, basketball courts, baseball fields, children’s playground, many flights of stairs which can be used for personal cardio workouts, and my personal favorite, the “waterfall” area. Many entrances/exits too.

There are many sections to be enjoyed in this park. The lower section has two small playgrounds, a nice-sized baseball field and a small basketball court. The middle has a bigger closed-in playground with sprinklers, climbing areas, and baby swings. Also, an open playground for older kids with swings, slides, ping-ping, and bigger basketball area with spectator seating. The upper is an even bigger enclosed playground that was recently renovated, but they kept the beloved bear. There are bathrooms throughout, and grilling is allowed in designated areas on many days. It's also has a nice path connecting it all that passes through a little waterfall. Wonderful place to spend the day for all ages!

This is a great park. It's clean and it has several parks. There's a water park that opens in the summer. They also have swings and one basketball court. There are several slides, monkey bars and they have a tire swing. They also have public bathroom's. Highly recommended for families.

Lovely park. Be aware—there are a lot of stairs on the west side of the park. So it will not be fully accessible to everyone. But it is a nice green space. Doesn’t seem very crowded, especially compared to Central Park. If you’re looking for a nice place to take a stroll, this is where you need to be.

Nice park, would've been great if it connected to central park.

This most recent exhibition provided a glimpse into Harlem’s very own models and photographers showcasing “Peace in Practice” So many faces and so many displays to offer the public a view what what centers them each individually in this space we call Harlem. A wonder to behold & follow, as it spans from block to block alongside the fences of Morningside Park.

Beautiful park. I enjoy walking there daily. It's generally well maintained, but the pond is full of algae and its pretty waterfall has been shut off for years. Nice playgrounds, workout equipment, and pingpong table. Summer weekends it is packed with barbecue parties.
