A great park to go running. It's hilly, so it's nice for training. My favorite time there is in the fall when the foliage changes color and in the spring, when the warming golden hour light backlights the leaves. It's very relaxing in the summer time as well. Sit on a bench and read a book, or lay in the grass.

This park is unique from other playground areas as it is both a park and has a playground. Lots of trees and open spaces to comfortably walk around the park by yourself, with a stroller, or a dog. There's also a basketball court and an exercise area.

Park is great early in the morning and after 5 if you like quite space for your kids. From 10-12 during summer camps over run the park not safe or much fun. (For us personally). We do picnics also catch and release butterflies when play ground is full. Even though there are signs ppl still ride their bikes in park which gets annoying.the photo below with all the kids are camp kids over flooding play ground this is when we leave ..

Beautiful trees and grass area, medium sized kids playground and workout area, and event basketball courts. Wish the sprinklers will work in the summer though.

A nice quiet and open park with all age groups frequently attending. They have a great pull up bar rig with 4 bars set at different heights. The dip bars are slightly bent and there's no push up bars but they have a balance beam that you can do either incline or decline push ups off of.

It's a small, calm park for waking and jogging. It lacks sports facilities, though it has a small play area but it would be nice to have a soccer park.

This park is close to my house. Our family likes it very much. Beautiful shady trees in summer. In winter, when it snows, you can ride the slides. The restrooms are pretty clean. There is an excellent tennis court. If you want to come by bus, the bus stop is next to the entrance. If by car, there are enough parking spaces around the park both on 7th Avenue and on Fort Hamilton.

Basketball courts are poorly marked with cracked floors. There is a lot of nice open space for a picnic. Jungle gym is a popular spot for gymnasts and calisthenics.

Gorgeous little park in a quiet(er) area of Brooklyn. You can usually find a free parking spot along the south side of the park (you may see a lot of trucks and vans along this street too). There is a little fenced in dog run that goes in a thin strip for half a block and then widens out on one end enough to toss a tennis ball or frisbee around for our medium sized dog! There is a nice playground, often happily busy, well-loved basketball courts and little area with work-life style equipment like pull-up bars and maybe some steps and benches. The east section is a large number of tennis courts that are busy with tennis lessons in the middle of the day, evenings, and weekends, but probably have a court or two free most times, more in the morning or after dinner hours. There's lots of nice grass to lay out a picnic blanket or sit on the lawn and it's nicely populated as a city park should be so that it never feels weird being there alone. Lots of benches line the walking paths and there are lots of trees. Not a place you're going to get a ton of privacy but still a tranquil spot in the neighborhood.

This place is big. Half a block. Local spot. Nice for early morning. Afterwards too many people gather. Feels unsafe when going alone with more than 1 child.. difficult ro watch them when it's so crowded

It's a big good park to go with bikes and scooters, it's very big to go with the whole family to enjoy a day out at the playground and they have sprinkler also its usually open in middle of the day and kids could have a grand time there.

I live 3/4 of a mile away and have visited this park year round since we moved to Brooklyn in 1996. And now I continue this tradition with my family. The park is well maintained and has everything for the kids: swings, slides, basketball courts, tennis, and lots of space to fly frisbee. Did I also mention sprinklers in the summer to cool off?

It is a good park with lots of different activities to do but the bathrooms are extremely dirty and the stall doors don't lock. But, otherwise, is a good park and it is a good park for kids.

I put a plate of water for the squirrels because it hasn't been raining in New York for months. The grass in the park is completely dry. One day the cleaning service threw the plate away. I asked them to give this plate back. One of them was merciful to the squirrels and gave me back the plate. The second one told me they had to throw everything in the trash because their boss would be angry. Park management should think about it and give water, especially for squirrels. Birds fly, they will find water for themselves. Please tell cleaning service not to throw away the plate of water for squirrels. This a picture squirrel who drink water.
