Sutton Place Park is a little sanctuary that’s peaceful and scenic overlooking the East River. It’s situated between 56th and 55th Street off Sutton Place.

Great little park tucked behind Sutton Place along the East River. Great views up and down the river.

An empty cement square with a few benches and a view of the Queens skyline. Used by wealthy people on cheap dates and the unfulfilled pondering their existence.

Quiet, bucolic, amazing views, and soon with access to the new river promenade.

Very quiet area, social distancing possible, lots of benches. Nice views of Roosevelt island and tramway. A bit noisy due to work and tug boats in the area.accessible for strollers and bicycles.

Small green zones close to the East River greenway. Nice to relax and calm.

Tiny park with lots of trees for shade and that iconic boar sculpture as a focal point. Wonderful river views, and when I visited, adorable toddler music and exercise classes. Seating and tables with checker boards. It’s a little NYC gem. No water or restrooms, but the play park a couple blocks away has both.

Small, quaint little park overlooking the East River with views of the Queensboro Bridge and Long Island City. It's clean with plenty of seating. Careful in the winter as it does get quite icy. Great place to hang out and read a book or just look at the water.

Went in search of a good viewing place for fireworks. This park is literally a few benches at the end of the promenade.

Our home away from home. Nice to stay away from the craziness of the city.

Beautiful small park hidden in between buildings facing the east river on East 57 street. I had lunch and read a book, while enjoying the beauty and peacefulness of the park.
