Beautiful dangerous park. Nice and clean except for the criminals trying to rob people.. The park is clean. People come here for walking, barbecuing, bird watching. Lots of shade. Watch your back and don't go here. Most people just play ball and play in the kids area which is great. The area is pretty bad and very close to other dangerous areas. Warning you are not safe here. Enter at your own risk. Used to be 5 stars until I feared for my safety several times.

Nice open park with lots of stairs. The park is near the highway & separated into three sections. Great place for nature and wildlife. A great place for jogging, walking, running, bicycle riding, etc. There's various amenities; such as tennis courts, basketball, baseball, and handball courts, a community garden, some exercise grounds, and a barbecue/picnic area by the parking space. Overall recommend.

This was an awesome park to visit. It has picnic tables, single and double grills, and a lot of grassy areas. Just steps from free parking. Must stop grilling by 9pm. As with any outdoor space, it has plenty of bugs, so bring bug spray!!

Beautiful park. Spacious and clean as well. Easy to get to, right off the Jackie Robinson exit 2. There is a parking lot as well which is super convenient and has a lot of spaces. There’s a baseball field and lots of grills for cookouts. We only just started to explore but it’s a very large park with lots of hidden treasures. Truly feels like you left the city for awhile and got some fresh air. Love it here. Great place to walk the dog, exercise or take the family.

Exciting opportunity to get far away from cars in Brooklyn. Nice clean bike trail circling the old Ridgewood Reservoir. People actually used to drink from that mosquito nursery up until 1959. Now it is home to natural critters and a birch forest.

This place is a sanctuary. There's so much to see and do. The reservoir is lush and alive, red winged blackbirds flying everywhere, singing to each other. It's a great place to bring the dog, take a run on the track, play any kinda sport or just relax under a tree. One of my favorite parks in NYC for sure.

Beautiful greenery, looks like it been redone in the last few years nd is still getting new pavements out in where it seems gravel paths used to be. Some areas are sealed off for safety, but otherwise still got some great views. So, worth the trip!

Beautiful park in the midst of hectic Brooklyn. Kudos to the parks workers who keep it litter free. I find early mornings the best - less foot traffic. Be mindful if taking kids during the busy periods. Lots of bikes zipping through

This is a really huge park with tons of options for the family... Nature, lake view, and picnic area. Kids can feel free to play safety. I also like the big parking lot!

Love what they have done with this park. I have been going to this over a decade. Nice trails and areas to just sit and relax. I fly my drones here.

Highland Park has some of the best hills for sledding. If you enter the park from Jamaica Avenue and Elton Street in Cypress Hills there is a really nice hill that is wide with a 30 degree slope that is over five hundred feet long and no obstructions. The top of the hill also has stunning views of the surrounding neighborhoods. There is also a nearby playground if your kids want to take a break from sledding. Take your kids here for sledding and they will love you for it. The bottom of one section of the hill is ringed with stadium lighting which is spectacular on a snowy evening. On very snow days, the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation will host a Snow Day sleigh-riding fest here (Jamaica Avenue and Elton Street) featuring sleds, music, and free hot chocolate. When it snows, check nycgovparks.org for a Snow Day announcement. If you know of any better hills for sledding in Queens, Brooklyn or Long Island, let me know!

Really great park. The reservoir area is lovely to walk around. The highway takes away from the ambience some but its the city what do you expect.

I love coming here. It was really clean and there were so many little pockets of the park to just sit and take in the view. My favorite park when I want to go on a nature walk.

It’s a good park for a nice walk or to ride a bike but you can’t really get close to the lake and they close parts of the park early. There’s also a soccer field nearby and sometimes you can get a peak at the Manhattan skyline from the trees.

Nice place to have a running or just take a walk. The length of the circle of the ridgewood reservoir is around 1.6K.

Nice park, it is a very large park with multiple entrances so it's a good idea to pay attention to the street you entered from if directing others to your location. The park is filled with all sporting fields and courts through out the park also grills and picnic areas. Dog friendly just be careful of the mopeds drivers riding thru the park.

Nice location. Clean park. Port-o-co pottys available and for a public park, fairly clean. Soccer and bandy ball fields open spaces and a bit of a playground, but pretty small as far as parks go. Good for picnic or strolling, but entertainment is what you bring. There also a beautiful community garden attached. That is for sure the highlight!

The park is clean and seems well maintained, it has a baseball field, a children's playground and sprinklers in summer. The park is divided across by Highland Blvd, the reservoir area is uphill and there are running trails and benches

Discover a delightful park with charming staircases, conveniently located near the highway. Divided into three sections, this scenic haven offers ample opportunities for leisurely exploration amidst nature and abundant wildlife. Whether you enjoy jogging, walking, running, or biking, this park caters to a wide array of recreational activities. Engage in friendly matches on well-maintained courts for tennis, basketball, baseball, and handball. Green thumbs can indulge in a delightful community garden, while designated exercise grounds keep you in shape. Complete your day with a delightful barbecue or tranquil picnic in the dedicated area near the parking space. This captivating park with versatile activities and plentiful amenities is a true gem to explore and cherish.

Beautiful place to walk. Lot's to do forever one. There's many different sections, many baseball fields, mini volleyball courts, picnic tables and grills, beautiful scenery and that's just neither Jackie Robinson entrance. Then in the first entrance pierce three or four more baseball fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, racquetball/handball courts lots of places to walk and much more. Going to cross from the parking lot entrance near The Jackie Robinson he can walk around the damn set up real nice I believe that's 1.2 MI and is a few different routes you can take pictures of people on bikes and walking everybody's courteous. Lot's to do you just have to check it all out

Despite the fact that lots of pathways are closed around the basin, it is a nice place to visit. The BBQ place is nearby & seems okay.
