I’ve been to a lot of hotels, traveled a lot, and for the price, this is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Just right off the bat: the AC doesn’t work properly. If you like sleeping at a comfortable 77 degrees, despite lowering the goal temp to an impossible 45 degrees, enjoy your stay! I hope you don’t get a room near the elevators, because the noise from the empty yet crazy-loud rooftop bar is going to pump through and keep you up all night. Someone tried to enter my room at 7 am. Then again at 8 am. Then again at 10 am. I’m sure glad I had the room locked and barred. The bar has really cool flashing neon lights that look like a freshman decided he wanted to decorate for his first dorm party. My clock alarm went off at 5:59am on the dot. I didn’t set that alarm, but it sure did the job. Despite leaving at around noon on my second day here, no one came to provide any sort of turn down service. I guess I missed my chance by not leaving in time. I paid $411.61 a night for all this.

All I can say is that it’s a great location !!! Room didn’t smell fresh , had an old almost moldy smell, Towel rack uneven , holes visible in the wall, TV blanked out for an hour , then only showed the Bonvoy advertisements, Desk drawer wouldn’t stay closed , I had to put the chair in front of it to keep it closed , Air conditioner was loud ,blowing hot air when on cool , I had to open the windows to get some fresh air ! There were No garbage bags in the very small trash bins which made it hard when having a meal When asked if there was a microwave on premises, I was advised to go next door to the aloft hotel One of the lamps not working , maybe needed a new bulb , the Pillows were flat and the bed was hard , not like any other hotel I’ve ever stayed in so I had a very uncomfortable sleep. There is a $250 security deposit that is charged at check in and supposed to be returned at check out and I’m still waiting for that 3 days later ! I was unable to reach housekeeping and when some one did come , she was dressed in street clothes so I wasn’t sure if she was staff or another guest. Front desk staff was nice but it felt like they were bothered or overwhelmed. This location definitely needs an upgrade , I was so ready to go home and will probably never stay there again .

The hotel is all right. Good location and rooms are clean and maintained. The staff is courteous and very nice. The reason for 2 stars is that the hotel has NO air conditioning and there is construction across the street that is loud. The room we were given was facing the construction and on a lower floor so it was really loud and hot. No matter what we did the room temperature did not go above 75.

Booked a room here because it was a great price for the area and very close to where I needed to be. But I’m not going to be back. Cockroaches in the bathtub every morning. The temperature in the room never got below 78°F despite my turning the air conditioning down to 65 (in DECEMBER) for three days. Terrible water pressure in the shower. And the wifi is so painfully slow as to be completely useless, so rule this place out if you’ll need to work from your room at all. Very disappointing. Spend a little more to do better elsewhere; I will, next time.

I really loved my stay here. The room was perfect for me and I expected it to be small in size since it was just me and it clearly stated it was for one person. One thing that stood out was that the bed and pillow were SUPER COMFORTABLE. I certainly had no problems sleeping. The amenities were cool (nice AC/Heat, Smart TV w/cable channels, Iron, walk-in shower, etc) and definitely no complaints in that area. The gym had just opened up for the first time (after the pandemic) and that was perfect timing. The location is perfect. Near restaurants (there is a NICE restaurant on the rooftop with great views), subway stations and many other stores in downtown Brooklyn. The front desk staff was extremely courteous and helpful. I could easily stay here again if I am ever in downtown Brooklyn.

This was one of the most disappointing hotel stays in a life of travels. My first room was missing one light, had a dead bulb in another, and the A/C system didn't work. No one answered the phone, so after going down to the front desk and waiting in line, a deeply disinterested staff person got engineering to come and confirm that the A/C was broken. So they moved me to a new room -- which required multiple trips to the front desk to get sorted. My next room was so old the curtains were falling apart like a haunted house. Then the A/C made terrible noises and then failed in the middle of the night. I called the front desk at 3am, but nothing they could do until engineering arrived at 8am. I got back late after work events the next day and I guess engineering never came. The temp was near or above 80 all night! The club lounge was hilarious -- an out of service coffee machine and two plastic wrapped apples in a bowl. The staff idled at disinterest, when they were responsive at all. I've staying in hundreds of hotels and honestly could not believe the level of misery here. I honestly wondered if I was being punk'd. But no, it's just a terrible hotel. (One shout out to the young engineering guy that diagnosed my first A/C unit. He was the one single friendly and competent person I met.)

Alejandro helped us with all of our bags and was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Rooms were very comfortable and clean but one of the lights just wasn’t working and the guest services line wasn’t working either. Otherwise great experience plus Alejandro really made us feel welcome and provided great service.

The hotel next door is a refuge for people in transition. They crowd the path along the entrance of the hotel. Note: We were never approached by anyone. There was seldom a time that the walk ways were easily accessible without small crowds along the way. We were there 5 days. If you don't request room service, new towels, a microwave, you will not get it. There is no free breakfast. The rooms are adequate. Nice bathrooms. Elevators are slow. TREMENDOUSLY easy access to Target, Trader Joe's, Dekalb Food Court, Fulton Square for shopping, the Subway and so much more.

I don’t really leave bad reviews, but his time I couldn’t let my bad stay go unnoticed. I arrived here 5 days ago and it has unfortunately been one bad thing after another. The hot water in the entire building was out the first couple of days. I really didn’t complain about that as I knew they were working on it. However in addition, the one outlet in my bathroom was broken and I informed the staff on three separate occasions that it needed to be repaired or replaced as I was unable to use the blow dryer in the room and was unable to reach the bathroom with the existing outlet in the hall way. This in addition to the notice that my husband gave them three separate times via direct message to the hotel via text. We were told it would be fixed right away yesterday. It is still not fixed. The coffee maker was broken when I arrived and it was replaced quickly, which I greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, the plugs that are near the coffee pot via a desk lamp would not work and I had to carry the coffee maker around the room to find a plug that would work. Last but not least, housekeeping left before cleaning my room, or at least replacing my towels on my last full day here. Before today, housekeeping had been cleaning my room daily so I was expecting that they would come today as well and all the towels are on the floor and unusable. I am normally a very tolerant person, but one thing after another makes this stay one that I cannot recommend. The staff for the most part were pleasant and I continued to be courteous to them. However, management really needs to fix these things in the guest rooms. I was not the only guest who was complaining about their rooms and the amenities that were not working. Do better Sheraton. You have a nice facility but you will lose guests when the rooms are not in working order, especially with the prices we pay to stay.

The front desk staff was so rude The lady who checked us in was so rude, acted like she’s the boss who owns the place. She was talking to her colleague about personal stuff the whole time she was checking me in. Few minutes after checked in my room. A housekeeping knocked on my door, and opened my door from the outside! Told me to put a bottle of water near the coffee machine. This is a very weird hotel experience for me. How come a hotel chain like this doesn’t have qualified staffs in basic hospitality. Such a shame for Sheraton.

What a mixed bag - rooms are clean and comfy, but on the 20th floor it’s hard to sleep with the pounding bass of the rooftop bar/club. Front desk was always helpful, but when trying to book a conference room we were treated as some massive inconvenience. They tried to charge us $500/day for a basement room with two desks in it. Got a lovely, bright room in a shared workspace 3 mins from the hotel for less than half that.

We stayed in this hotel for one night. The washroom was really clean. The toiletries were in big bottles. Hair dryer was there. The toilet seat was at a comfortable height which helps; it doesn't feel like sitting on a floor like some other hotels. I booked room with two beds, the beds were spacious. Room has a wooden floor and not carpet which I liked instantly. Wardrobe is spacious. Side table is spacious. The staff are polite and welcoming. I just had one issue that the heater used to make a funny sound while starting and stopping. We used to laugh at it not irritating though. But if it could be fixed they should fix it. And the water in wash basin used to drain little slow. And yes they should keep more laundry bags than one.But overall experience was great. The location is good as subway stations are at walking distance.

Google description is incorrect. There is NO POOL for guests (it is permanently rented to a private swim club) and there is no rooftop bar (it is connected and accessed through the Aloft Hotel next door). Beds are clean and comfy; bathroom toiletries are woodsy masculine scents; staff are helpful. Rooms ending 01, 03, and 05 have a view of the Statue of Liberty. The building nearby blocks the view from other rooms.

Unfortunately, this experience at the Sheraton was not the greatest. Upon arrival, there was only one guy at the desk. After waiting in line for about 10 minutes, another guy joined him. We received our key but did not receive any information on WiFi or information about the hotel, and only provided us for one key for two people. Once we got on the elevator, the key was not working to access our floor. I had to go back and wait yet again for them to fix it. We made it to the room. It was clean but small. The shower design was awkward. Instesd of the shower being pulled outward, you had to push it inward, which is a hassle when the shower is on. I called the front desk inquire about the gym. They guy noted that it was on the second floor and that I just needed to come to the front desk. I went down the next morning and the early morning attendant told me I needed to make a reservation. Seriously?! Why did the evening guy not tell me this?? This guy was gracious enough to allow me go to gym (he wore his mask at the chin...not sure why you wanted to protect his chin only). By the time we checked out, there was another gentleman at the counter. I wish we had him for the entire stay. He was friendly and provided great customer service. I encountered four reps during our one night stay and only one out of the four provided exceptional customer service.

Scam! I booked here at a good rate but when I tried to check-in at 3pm they told me that my reservation had been cancelled an hour earlier. I assume this is because they realised it was fashion week and the US open final that weekend and that they could charge more for the room. I hope the few extra hundred dollars a night was worth it for the hotel, as I have 50 years of travel left in me, AND I WILL NEVER STAY AT A SHERATON (OR MARRIOTT) EVER AGAIN!!!

There were several issues with my stay. After checking in I noticed a large stain on one of the comforters. I politely told the hotel staff of the issue and they told me that they would send housekeeping up to change the bedding. I left and returned that evening and it had still not been fixed. I complained the next morning and was told again that hotel staff would fix the bedding issue. I again left and returned that evening to the situation still not being rectified. I went to the front desk with the issue and was told that I would be moved to a new room on a different floor. By this point I was fully unpacked for a week trip and was not offered any help or compensation for the issue other than a new room which I would have to repack and move to. The room also looked as if it was cleaned too quickly in that the coffee bar had not been restocked before I checked in. The shower also did not have a body wash dispenser and every light fixture had at least one lightbulb burnt out. All of these little things could have been over looked had they staff foxed my main issue in a more proactive way. I wont be staying here, ever again!

Don't forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any room. This web site will compare thousands of booking web sites and typically will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is one of the best in the area. I have been staying here for a very long time. If you stay for a few nights you won't be let down. The staff are very courteous and helpful. Despite not knowing I'm a guest they facilitated me in so many ways. Will definitely put this on my list of places to spend a few nights. Hosted a party in their ballroom and the basically provided me with all containers and as much ice as needed. The ballroom was exquisite cleaned before and after my event.

This is a decent hotel. Nothing too fancy but serves the purpose. Rooms are tidy and clean. I had an issue with dirty bedsheets but that was quickly taken care off. Good housekeeping. Excellent location with good subway connection to basically everywhere in NYC.

My husband, 2 children and I stayed at this hotel in June. We booked this hotel based on the website listing that there was a pool, when we arrived we were advised that the hotel pool was leased to a school and not available to guests. We had a suite and the tv in the room portion did not work properly. We asked for help and were told it was what it was. We used the app, called the front desk and visited the front desk to advise that the water in the shower was either scalding hot or freezing cold. No one came to look into the issue. We were not able to properly bathe our children during our stay and I burned my hand. We asked for towels and they were not delivered until after 9 pm and woke up my kids because they then sent us towels 3 times within a 20 minute period. I have been working with Marriott customer service since June to get my stay refunded or have some resolution, the manager of the Sheraton has never called me back. The manager also would not answer the calls of Marriott customer service. What kind of business is this? The lobby was also dirty and the elevators were not always working. I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone. We would have left mid-stay but we had 2 toddlers (1 and 3 years old) and moving was not an option. We also believed they would at least try to address our issues.

Location, front desk and cleaning staff was good. The room was good also. Really just the bathroom made you feel like that paint commercial where if you didn't apply new paint you had vision of the prior visitors. Like if they did room inspections they would have noticed the toilet seat was broken (sliding left to right), The peeling of the ceiling over the shower, the black spots in the tub corner, worst was the shower curtain bowing in the middle so the curtain would not stay close to the edge to prevent water from goong to the floor. Then the water would travel across the back wall around to the toilet. The 4 days we were there you could only stream and not watch local channels. And all you heard was to use streaming service, or they are working on it, or fake calls to tech people. Not the prestigious Sheraton version we were expecting. Usually you get a survey day after checkout, I have not, so I am venting here. I did tell the front desk about the batroom, and they fixed the toilet. Good thing that was an upgrade for a platinum member.

We were staying as a family of 6 for 8 nights, when we arrived at the hotel to check in, we where told the hotel was fully booked for the night so we were guided to the next door hotel for the first night. After that everything was uphill, no issues with the rooms, the rooms were cleaned almost every day & the staff was nice. The hotel needs a facelift, but i knew what to expect based on the price, this is new york, you get what you pay for. Great location

I think we were supposedly having a typical experience but maybe I'm fussy or extremely specific. But I feel I have the right to be after paying so much to stay here on top of a $250 deposit fee....we had to go to the hotel next door after one night's stay. There was no hot water and the claim was it would probably take the day to get it fixed. Why book hotel stays to people when there is a problem. Even if it was understandable about the hot water pipes breaking, we had to keep calling the front desk when we were ready to go to the new hotel. Their customer service is not good. It may have a nice decor, nice spacious rooms and soft comfortable beds and very clean accommodations. But I can't with people who are unwilling to communicate or facilitate a pleasant stay. I don't like the idea of having to constantly contact the people who are supposed to be employed specifically to ensure a good environment. I was extremely disappointed and I will make sure I never visit this specific location again

Great mix of stores, restaurants, and other amenities just down the block. Needed a hotel nearby the hospital and this was an easy ten minute walk. The rooms are good, the beds were very comfy! We had some issues with the room keys but it was easily resolved. Only downside was the rooftop party on the weekends. Also there was a very random alarm announced at 3am...odd time to test if that's what it was.

Just came in for the weekend and was very impressed. Plenty of 24 hour garage parking within walking distance. The hotel was very clean and quiet. Didn’t have a fridge and they brought one up within 5 minutes. Easy access to train. Overall the stay was perfect and I can’t wait to come back.

I have been here before and had a great experience during and before the pandemic. This time the bathroom sink had no hot water, the floor, table top and sink was dirty/dusty and water keep running from around the pipe settling on the surface. Worst of all no housekeeping came by to clean or to see if you needed more of anything or to get rid of the unwanted trash. I stuck it out seeing it was for only three days and I was very tired after having a rough morning of flight delays one after the other. In all I know it's a great hotel.

The Sheraton is nice. The room is plain, basic but clean. I still did my own disinfecting. House keeping is upon request before 12pm. No need we only stayed two nights. My first assigned room had the barking dog next door. I immediately returned to the front desk and was accommodated with another room. I requested a room on a higher floor in the first place. I was told there was pool access before booking. Upon arrival I was told there is no pool access. We came for the pool and shopping. Duffield Street is a mess. The homeless, the smell of poop, and weed at the front door is a lot. The Italian restaurant in the hotel is a bit pricey but, their Chicken Parmigiano was excellent. Definitely hot water at all times. The AC is disturbing, very noisy. The room windows open that might be an option. Cable TV channels are in and out. No fridge or microwave in the room. The room needs a fridge and microwave. I'll be back when the pool opens and the shelter is gone. I'd stay again, only for one night. I'd hit the pool and the restaurant and go home in the morning, since I only live 15 minutes away.

I just recently stayed at the Sheraton Brooklyn New York Hotel for NYFW. I can definitely say that it is a nice hotel the only thing is that I had to wait a whole hour at check in to get my room. Other than that I enjoyed my stay and I loved that all the shops and restaurants are nearby.

Our stay at the Sheraton was great, ( clean and smelt good) The price was great, ( wish we stayed longer) The location was great, ( in the heart of downtown, all the stores and trains were a stone throw away) The staff was great ( they listen, very professional and friendly), and the bakery access from the lobby had new Yorks famous RAINBOW BAGEL! Cons: no pool and no on-site parking

My recent stay at the Sheraton hotel was a great experience. Our room was an absolute delight, we were surprised by the view of the Statue of Liberty and Brooklyn Bridge. The room was very clean and ready before check in. The Front desk staff were very welcoming, especially Chantelle. Her attentiveness and thoughtfulness truly stood out. She went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction during our stay. When we arrived early, she offered to store our bags while we explored the city and left us a message when our room was ready. Her pleasant and friendly nature made interacting with her a genuine pleasure. It's rare to encounter someone who takes such pride in their work and genuinely cares for the well-being of their guests. The location was excellent with easy access to the Subway and lots of restaurants and things to see and do within a reasonable distance. Complimentary breakfast and access to the Club lounge were also greatly appreciated and a good way to start the day. Thank you once again for a memorable weekend!

Beautiful hotel! My room was spacious and immaculately cleaned. The front desk was a pleasure! Even on our way out we received recommendations for eateries. We stayed overnight so my daughter can attend a concert at the Barclays. Overall I highly recommend this hotel. LP

Hotels in NY are just small. Things are a bit crammed together. The bathroom was clean enough, but if I was more OCD I would say the showers needed another scrub down. The AC unit was either too cold or too hot. It was hard to get it at a comfortable temperature. The check in service was okay. We didn’t get anything complimentary as a Gold Member of Marriott. Check out time is at 12pm. Late check out is at 2pm. The check out service was also mediocre. Only plus was that they held our bags for a couple hours after check out.

The club lounge has no selection of breakfast items. It is cold cereals. No oatmeal. No fresh cut fruit. The hot items are eggs but served in the same platter as meat and bacon. No honey Very disappointed at this place! The only redeeming service was Ms. Julie who was managing the lounge kitchen all by herself on Christmas Day trying to make food for 25 people who showed up for breakfast. Her helper did not come. She made us stir fry potatoes and peppers. Thank you Ms. Julie for your kind service. You made our day!

Best customer service I've experienced in NY. Specifically Chantelle P., she was very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. She made sure we had a wonderful.experience. I booked a room there for one night on October 8 around 5 AM I left on time for check out. I still have not received my deposit back. This is ridiculous. I’ve been calling and calling and calling. No one has answered. I even spoke to someone online and I still haven’t received an email. So I decided to take it upon myself, and physically go there. The man at the front desk proceeded to tell me that he does not see my name in the System I’m starting to believe this is Some sort of fraud. It may seems like I might have to make a police report. This is Ridiculous and unfair!

I enjoyed my stay. I was there for two nights. I loved how private the room was. It was neat & clean. I had plenty of fresh towels. I had an amazing view of the statute of liberty & one of Brooklyn's bridges (not sure which bridge). I enjoyed my stay to the fullest.

Don't bother staying here. I stayed at the hotel from 12/1-12/3, upon checking in our room was not ready, which is fine, but when we came back later we were given 2 sets of room keys that did not work and instead of being offered a room change we were offered a 4pm check out. The next day we checked at the front desk to get keys and we were told they couldn't do that b/c of something with their system. My girlfriend and I had to carry around personal items we would have preferred to have left in the room, such as medications and makeup, but we were worried that we would not have enough time wait in line, explain to the front desk another time that we don't have keys, and then be let in to our room by the front desk. We again were not offered anything other than the 4pm checkout to compensate for this lack of service. When we came back to the hotel we were meet by Daykwon at the front desk who could not have been any less pleasant or unprofessional from the second we walked in the door. Daykwon huffed and puffed as we explained the situation, he did not listen and proceeded to treat us like we were just checking in and asked for my ID and credit card, then he disappeared from the front desk and emerged from an elevator before taking us to the room. When I voiced my complaints Daykwon was unprofessional and accused me of getting loud, I was not loud, and when our interaction was over he threw his head back and audibly groaned in the hallway. The next morning upon checking out we spoke to front desk supervisor Kash who was polite but could not solve our problem. He provided me with the front desk Manager Danny's information. I called Danny on Monday 12/4 to express my complaints and he tried to explain that he offered us a room change, he did not, if he had we would have accepted it as we had absolutely no preference to what room we stayed in, we just wanted free access to our room, which we never received. Danny informed me he had to speak with his GM and would get back to me. I have not heard from the hotel and have tried contacting the hotel since that conversation and no one has answered the phone. We received somewhere between6-8 room keys and the only one that worked was the final set as we were checking out and the only reason we know they worked is b/c the hotel wanted to try another set, not b/c we needed or wanted them, we were leaving to go back home. The staff lacked any form of hospitality despite working in the hospitality industry. They were vastly unprofessional and did nothing to accommodate our inconvenience. They completely failed to provide the services that were offered and when questioned about how they would make up for it they were completely unresponsive.

It's what you expect of a big city hotel really. The interior of the rooms is a bit dated but they're spacious. My only slight complaint is the noise from the elevators, my room was in between all the elevators, and the noise from the ac and fan in the bathroom. I wouldn't mind staying here next time in NYC again.

I experienced the worst stay at this sheraton. The phones was out of service, the room was cold because the hotel control the temperature. I had to get out of the bed three time to go downstairs to ask for a blanket .I woke up in the am , it was so cold in the room they plugged a heater inside to warm the room up. No refrigerator or microwave in rooms. WHat kind of Sheraton is this!Downtown Brooklyn.

Upon check in, I was given a key and entered the room and it was filled with junk and not cleaned. I came back down to let the staff know and they assured me it was a mistake and gave me a new key to another room and it happened again. It took over an hour to get a room without any courtesy or discount. Horrible experience, I also left my charger there called twice and promised a call back and still have not received. As a Marriott Gold member I am appalled at my stay here.

This is my first time staying in this hotel, and so far it is not the pleasant one. Never experienced such a poor service from Sheraton especially in NY considering it’s a business and money city where service is everything. The staff was ignoring me or giving an attitude. I am sick and she made me come in and out couple of times due to this and that. The Conditioner doesn’t work! Requested for fixing but there is no engineer. Good thing at least they gave a heater. I wish I had read the reviews before booking. I booked it based on the name and tier but now I got shocked. Also the parking is not inside and you have to walk down the block, which is not really pleasant if it’s cold and at night. The room is small. If I knew I would have stayed at another hotel. Glad booked it for only 1 night. Overall: staff rude, parking far, air conditioning problems, small room. Good side:close to a lot of locations, nice bed,Starbucks

Not a great location in the middle of downtown Brooklyn. Decent room. Awful view from mine looking over a construction yard. I'm giving it a one-star review because I checked out before the end of my reservation and was supposed to be reimbursed for some nights. However, I was never reimbursed. I have called the hotel 5 times over 3 weeks and was told 1) that it would be done in the next few days 2) that the manager would call me back 3) that I need to call back 4) to call Marriott reservations (for which they gave me a phone number, with... 9 digits instead of 10!!?!). But I am still waiting to be reimbursed and am starting to lose faith. The staff and manager there are either incompetent or are trying to screw me. In any case, this has turned into a very bad customer experience for me and I will make sure to never stay there again or in any Sheraton.

Nice historic hotel in Brooklyn . Next to a subway station which gives you access to the entire city

Very nice staff, but amenities not so great. Need nicer facility to prepare food/snacks for patrons.

Horrible front desk service. Our room key had to be replaced several times because it did not work. I do not recommend this hotel.

Had to take some time away before writing an honest review. But one of the most disappointing and worst experiences in my 11 years as a Marriott Titanium Elite rewards member. Danny was supposedly the manager of the property when I arrived. He carries a very testy, snarky, pretentious and impolite attitude. Not sure how someone of his demeanor becomes manager of a hotel property but this industry isn’t for him. Had a CONFIRMED upgraded reservation for a 2 double bed room suite w/ a sofa bed. I checked in with a woman who then took my card and ID and looked a bit confused at the reservation on her computer. Danny and another individual then went over to stare confusingly at the computer for a few minutes. After getting my room keys, I walked in to a room that looked like a motel 6 (my room rate was $260 last night). I called the front desk to let them know about the incorrect room. Not only did they try and brush it off, I also got hung up on. Went back downstairs to explain the situation and they again brushed it off that they didn’t have what I requested available. It really wasn’t just the accommodations that were unavail but it was unacceptable behavior and attitude they had the entire time during my check in experience. I’m borderline ambassador lifetime status and have traveled and stayed at practically almost every type of Marriott across the country over the last 11 years. Had to be one of most disgusting experience at this Sheraton. Yes, Sheraton are fairly new to the marriotts, but I’ve been staying at numerous ones even this year (that also include breakfast) that carry the same level service marriotts are supposed to have. Luckily I found a SpringHill Marriott in Manhattan at a much lower rate with much better staff. Treated like dirt, and I heard numerous complaints when I was in the lobby. Danny handled them all terribly of course with his F- level of attitude and service. Shocked and stunned to be honest to see how they operate.

Clean. Friendly staff. A good place if you're in the area and have the cash.

I was there two weeks for work. I was told everyday that I would get a refrigerator and a microwave. I finally got a refrigerator one day before I checked out. There was no breakfast and no amenities at all. There are bums all over the outside of hotel and constantly harassing you. The parking garage couldn't fit our van in it so we had to fight for parking spots everyday. Rooms were clean but that's all you get. We had a group of guys that couldn't hang outside after work because we were told that we were to intimidating. Wouldn't stay there again.

Let me tell you one thing that online travel agents do not want u to know. When reserving stays use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ They have the best deals on resorts! So much better than using orbitz, priceline, hotwire. That's for sure!!!

This hotel is in a nice area, with plenty of restaurants and food joints, and close enough to multiple subway lines. The rooms were clean and the beds were confortable. It was an overall enjoyable stay. Beware that there are no fridge nor microwave in the room. However, the service wasn't too great. We went down to ask for towels, an extra blanket, and if they could fix the towel bar which had fallen out of the wall multiple times. Every time we were told someone was going to be sent, yet no one ever came. Since we only had three towels and were four people, one of us had to use those tiny towels that are too small to even wrap around the waist.

Rooms are not cleaned daily. You must request. And when they do come to clean, job is not done thoroughly. Floors not swept. I could tell because bathroom still had lots of my hair on floor. Beds were not neatly tucked. On days where i only request trash pick up, the guy who came by told me to dump the trash myself into the bag. Bathroom toiletries are very cheap. Could not get the shampoo to lather. Also, when we ordered an Uber to take us to airport, the porter who was helping another hotel customer mistook my car for his guest. My husband argued with the porter and said it was our car. And after driver confirmed it was for us, the porter finally gave in and took his bags out of the car. No apologies. Check the license before you yell at a paying guest! We’ve stayed at this hotel many times before and this was a low point. I will say that the guest check in staff was very friendly.

Small but clean rooms. I got into the city very early and they had a room for me without making me wait for regular check-in, which is rare and appreciated. Staff was all very friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the cleaning staff.

I usually stay at a Sheraton where ever I go since they are always great, however, this place is not. The customer service sucked because they just checked me in without telling me the room number or where my room was located. They also did not tell me that I had to advise them if I wanted my room to be cleaned. The room had no refrigerator or microwave, the safe lock was not working properly. Oh my mother’s bag got stolen when she asked the front desk to watch her bag while she went to get something to eat. They agreed to watch her bag. When she came back it was gone.

Stay here for about a month when I first got here a water bug was in the hallway for a week smh I notified workers but it was left still..the first room was cold with no heat but I still dealt with it. They ask do me & my girl want to change rooms & we did so. The second room had a mess up lock on the door so every time we needed to get in the room we had to let staff let us in which was funny to me being a young black person! We ended up switching rooms once again but this room seemed more better which have a refrigerator in it..the door worked & the heat worked well but the sink was clogged up smh if it ain't one thing it's another & not one time we complain about anything.when we firsts got here I was able to use my room card to go to the second floor to heat food up in the microwave but maybe the third day my card did not work for that no more. I had to bring my food down to staff for they can send me to the second floor which was also funny to me being a young black person.

Checked in after a month of staying at various Marriott properties for work. Got an upgrade which provided some space to relax and spread out. The front desk staff and comfortable beds made for an enjoyable experience. Giving five stars mostly due to price/value. This hotel was significantly more affordable than any other Marriott property in the NYC area for the dates needed. To be clear, the lounge was closed, pool was closed, there is construction across the street, the breakfast options limited and A/C and heat were rather loud. Despite this, it still felt like a good value as similar properties were $100 - $300 more per night.

This hotel staff was awesome from check-in until check-out. We had a little maintenance issue and the guy came and fixed it and was very friendly. The highlight of our trip was their employee William. William was so helpful and informative. He told us about great food places and sites to see. He kept us straight with directions we had to go. You all have great customer service

This is definitely my new go to hotel whenever I’m visiting the city! The location was amazing and the staff was very nice (specially the front desk). I got room in a matter of minutes and they were really kind and accommodating. Another plus is that they cleaned the rooms everyday and brought new towels! Some of the reviews made me a little worried at the beginning but staying here was definitely a great decision

The room was a nice size, everything was clean, and all of the staff (cleaning, maintenance, front desk), were friendly and helpful. They did need to move me due to the ac not working in my first room, and I was switched within a few minutes of maintenance notifying the front desk. I definitely plan on staying again.

Spent one night before leaving for a cruise. The property was very clean and the staff was nice. The room was tiny for two double beds, but there's too much going on outside to want to stay in the room. It's in the heart of the city and close to everything. A five minute walk to Target. A cafe on site to eat but we went to a place nearby. Will stay there again during a longer visit to NYC. Overall, was pleased.

Spent 4 nights here. Room was great. Clean and comfortable. We realized at check-in that we were getting ripped off on the room by the third party we booked with. The staff was very accommodating. We were able to cancel and rebook at a much better rate. Service was excellent throughout our stay!

We've stayed at this hotel several times over the past few months. Staff is amazing, very accommodating and house keeping is excellent. Hence why we keep coming back. Great location! The only down side is the food at the attached restaurant is not that good, especially breakfast. Fortunately, there are so many other great places around to eat.

We just recently stayed at this property. This was our choice due to my excellent experience a few years back. The check in process was easy. When we got in our room it was completely filthy. The rug between the beds was not clean and everything was really dusty. The bathroom contained so much hair and there was mold around the tub and in between the tiles. When we attempted to turn the AC on it did not work. When I discussed my concerns with the gentleman at the front desk I was advised that the information would be passed on to the manager which we never spoke to and that they would put us in a new room for our last night stay (that never happened.) they sent us a fan and told us to crack open our room windows. Needless to say, the customer service was horrendous and the property is not up to par. Being a member I was highly disappointed. I will not be staying at this property again until some changes are made.
