It’s convenient and pretty quiet for the most part so you can focus on your workout. The staff is pretty cool as well but I’m only issue would be the urgency when it comes to fill the paper towel and bottles to clean down the machines. They can definitely take their time with that and fixing things Update: machines still broken, bathrooms aren’t really clean and urgency is low I really want more for them

I’m giving this place one star. Everytime I come here the equipment is broken or just not there. I went on three different treadmills and they all just shut off randomly. Half of the ellipticals don’t even turn on. And here are pictures of the weights available. It’s actually pathetic. I will be canceling my membership.

I was thinking about giving it five stars because it’s so inexpensive but: 1. free weights are often misplaced or hard to find, especially in the 10-40 pound range 2. the cages are almost always in use (they have 4, but they could really use 2 or 3 more) For the price, it's pretty great. I had been fantasizing about getting a membership to a better gym for awhile, but this is all I need. The staff is super gracious, and they have all the essential machines and equipment. They just need more cages and free weights in between 10 and 40.

Been a regular at this location for the past 12 months, love the place, i enjoy the machines and the fact it's open 24/7. The maintenance of the equipment is great, why I can't give more than 2 starts is because of the clean-less of the place, the toilets are always a mess, looking like gas station toilets behind the building, a place that accommodes this amount of customers need to have the toilets cleaned hourly" but here it's never clean" the machines same thing, never you find a clean one.. also there's only 2 toilets in the men's section which is nothing when there's hundreds of customers at the same time, like 5-6pm etc. You literally have to wait in line for a toilet. I hope they fix this and I can move it up to a 5 star

No more 24hrs in the City That Never Sleeps, but somehow Jersey has two facilities that are open 24/7, wow, and I guess it made sense for the winter, but now we’re in the middle of the summer and the gym still closes early? Yeah, no wonder I canceled my membership, and I recommend everyone else do the same

The machines are fine like any other PF but the place is kinda dirty esp the tanning beds. The glass in stand ups is filthy and the floors are gross and sticky. Tanning station#1 rarely works, yet they love to use #1?? use #2 if theyll let ya. Kinda bummed because i got the black card membership esp for the tanning and they only allow 9 minutes. But overall it's somewhere to workout.

Home away from home. Has one of the better and spacious black card spa area. Centrally located and super friendly staff. It definitely gets crowded during the afternoons and nights, so make sure to check the crowd meter on the PF app. Took off one star for cleanliness. Otherwise def an affordable, chilled, place to get a good workout in.

Been a member at this gym since 2016 I like the place overall, but recently the place took a turn to the bad, I asked the staff at the front desk numerous times but doesn't seem to help, maybe a review will? Who knows I'll give it a shot. Here's a list of what's going on: Toilets are always clogged, not available to use. Changing area smells really bad. Lockers are dirty. (I deeply cut my finger after the gym broke up a locker but didn't feel safety is important and left the sharp metal, attached a photo) Machines are half out of order or shut down after 3 minutes of running. The staff who suppose to clean are polishing instead of cleaning. Clearly a joke and definitely not safe after this terrible pandemic, the place is full of bacteria can't remove my mask even for a minute while I'm at the facility. I'm not looking to complain but to bring this to Management's attention and hopefully will do something to bring this gym back to where it was! I miss it

HVAC on the boy bathroom above the ceiling clogged with dust and the tiles wall are loaded with lint. Air duct must be clean once a year in a residential home and much more frequent on the commerical side.

There are so many deficiencies with this gym. The men's bathroom is extremely gross, unsanitary, and is in dire need of upkeep. The stalls resemble a portable bathroom (it's gross). Also, there are 10,000 cardio machines with little space for stretching and free weights. Finally, billing- this enterprise has no interest in doing what is right for the customer. If you cancel, before the money is pulled from your account, you will be subjected to customer service representatives that will simply offer you no remedy. The remedy that is offered is the extra month of service at a gym that crowded with unnecessary equipment, unsanitary/gross bathrooms, and billing issues. The one pro I will give them is that their customer service representatives are outstanding individuals who are kind and helpful.

Legaly closed my account employees did a double account and failed to close it when I requested. After months I notice double charges in my bank account. I spoke to manager n show documents that I hadclosed the account legally. I follow manager they owed me about $169.00 up to this day I never receive my refund and when u call or visit managers are always in lunch in meeting or not available . Not professional at all.

Clean, lot's if cleaning supplies available, variety of equipment, great atmosphere. Am is the best for me before work. Only a few people are in there

When I go to the gym the manager is always in the back room sleeping and never handles any serious situations with the customers.I had to freeze my credit card because someone who works at the gym keeps trying to take money out of my credit card to make purchases.Someone who works at the gym keeps try to use my Apple ID to download load paid for apps.When I went to the gym the manager was un professional and the manager he refused to give me a copy billing history.Finally a different gave me the billing information for my gym account.Even some of the other employees know that the manager is wrong.The equipment is was dirty and I saw lots of bed bugs🪳 in the locker room even some were crawling on the gym equipment.That’s why I decided to leave this gym and never come back.This gym has too many red flags🚩👀 it’s not worth the money .Now I go to a different gym in a very nice area.The new gym I go to is way better than this one.The planet fitness at this location is a scam.📵🫵🏾

They just changed their hours from 24/7 to closing on 7 PM on the weekends. Literally thinking about quitting membership. One of the best perks was the 24/7 hours. And the gym has a lot of gym goers at that time. This makes no sense to me.

I love this please. The stuff is always very nice. I feel comfortable going there and do my workout. Free of judgment. That’s really nice 👍 I invite everyone to join this gym 👍👏❤️❤️

I’ve like this one. Not to busy, fairly clean, but honestly if it’s not going to be open 24 hours I’m probably going to cancel my membership, it one of the main reasons I have it. Edit as per my contract I can cancel it anytime… I don’t know why in their response they insinuated I said anything about them not being allowed to change the hours, I just said I probably won’t keep the membership. Maybe if they go back to 24/7 but otherwise it’s not worth it and probably a sign of financial trouble that they have to cut the hours.

I'm giving it a one star because the club manager was very unprofessional. I would go as far to say a bully because of the way my girl was treated . He felt the need to verbally harass her because she would quietly enter the gym without acknowledging him when she doesn't have to . It got to the point where I had to step in and speak to him and in that moment he tried to downplay his behavior when I literally heard him numerous time shouting BYE! To my girlfriend on her way out. He is very unprofessional and for someone working in the customer service I feel like he is not qualified to do so .

My dad was stolen $400 from the locker. The broke up the lock. The employees didn’t want to get the supervisor and didn’t want to take responsibility. Other customers were complaining too. This is the second time it happens this week to two different customers. Horrible service.

Machines are very close together….it’s is very cramped , bathroom/locker room is dirty, changing room have holes in ceiling, worst location I’ve been to. Staff was pleasant though.

The positives about this location is that it is next to multiple bus lines, the members are overall respectful, and the staff is generally kind. The negatives is that the stairmaster machines have been broken for SEVERAL months. They send an engineer every week to "fix" it. JUST REPLACE THE MACHINES. It's so annoying because the other PF gyms have the upgraded stairmasters already. PF is not sending this location sanitizer and soap. If they have it, there is clearly no urgency is making sure the spray bottles, paper towels, sanitizer, and soaps are being refilled. And needless to say, that's just unsanitary. I really want to see this location do well, but these issues must be addressed. PF is letting this place fall apart.

friendly atmosphere but quite a few broken equipment. also, the ladies locker room area is disgusting; probably the dirtiest locker room area i've seen at any planet fitness. clogged toilets, only one stall with toilet paper, and it looks like the area is not routinely clean like it should be (built up scum in the corners and floor). i wont be revisiting.

Planet fitness of bushwick is clean. Staff is caring, helpful & courteous. The blackcard has great perks. Hydro bed is wonderful after workout. You feeling good going to & feeling better coming out in every level. ⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️

been coming here for a few months and every time I leave I end up being more frustrated than feeling good. The machines are always broken, today I had to try 6 different ellipticals before finding one that worked. My treadmill also stops short randomly mid run which is very dangerous and very annoying. This has happened to me many times here on different treadmills. I’m addition to this there’s never paper towels available or cleaning spray, hand sanitizer is always empty, locker rooms are gross and weights are never anywhere to be found (at this point I’m wondering if there are even two of some dumbbells at this location). The 30 minute workout station that says it’s for people doing the express workout only and that it’s monitored but never is and I’m constantly waiting for people to get off the machines but they stay for 10,15,20 minutes making the express workout impossible. Many issues with this gym I’d find somewhere better

I really like this place calm atmosphere and friendly staff and no discrimination for any minority. But the place feels a little old, it can use a little rebuild to refresh the place. But overall it's a good experience to visit the place

It’s decent and cheap. Sometimes machines are broken, and the towel dispensers don’t work, but you can get a good workout, even when it’s crowded. It’s busiest from 6-8 pm on weeknights.

Been a member for years best part about the gym was the hours 24hr most days and they abruptly took those hours away and now close at 11 with no explanation. Me and many others are canceling our membership because of this.

I actually really like this location. Simply for the fact that there's 3 floors and each floor is for a different thing (floor 2 is weights/machines, floor 3 is cardio, stretching, and abs), so you're never having to wait for a certain thing or machine because there's plenty of them. And this one is open 24/7 so I'm able to go late after work whenever!

We used to like this better compared to the one by Myrtle, because it was better managed and so much cleaner. However, recently it got extremely trashy. The cleanliness is non existence and the entire gym smells. Cleaning supply was no where to be found, weights are missing, among others. The thought about this gym location scares us and we have never returned since. In fact, it provoked our decision to terminate membership with this gym.

Got a day pass for a Sunday workout. Crew was nice and as friendly as New Yorkers get. They don't sell energy drinks so I had to run across the street and go to the store, same for a lock too. Machines were decent. Although some didnt work but there were no signs saying so. They might also need to ramp up their hygiene equipment though, or the frequency in which a staff member checks the workout floor, alot of the cleaning stations were out of paper so you had to trek across the gym just to get some material to wipe your machine down on the other side. I think for what it is and WHERE it is. I expected worse but eh it was ok

Not my gym. What I do think is nice, is that you can get a free day pass. But I don't like the vibe, it's not clean enough and weights were missing. Staff is friendly though.

You get what you pay for! The reason why I still training there it’s the cheap membership. The woman’s locker it’s always dirty, smells bad and missing hand soap. On the 3rd floor the dumbbells set it’s incomplete. Side that it’s a good location gym. But needs more attention!

It's a great place to come and workout and relax with a massage machine; a welcome distraction from work and chores.

Very good they have everything you need for work

It's got a great variety of machines, it isn't cramped at all, and everyone just minds their business so it doesn't make you feel uncomfortable. The only problem I find is that all the most common machines are always in use and the weights are left scattered at times.

So I finally decided to go work out after paying for a year and it's great super clean, friendly staff, and omg the hydro massage chair is great after my workout!

I tried to resolve the situation for over three months. I've had enough. Planet Fitness charged me an extra $15 every month, more than the monthly membership. It turned out later that it was due to an error because they couldn't charge me the first time (even though there was money in the account), so they charged me later with a $15 fee. I tried to contact the manager, but he was never available—either too busy or the system wasn't working. So, I contacted my bank and got a refund for the money I shouldn't have paid. After that, Planet Fitness charged me again, but this time it was $50! It was shock. I filed another claim with the bank, but this time the money didn't come back. I went to the gym (I moved to Staten Island, so it's kinda not comfortable and expensive) and finally managed to talk to the manager. They offered me three months of a free membership because of this mistake, and I agreed. Before I could close the claim, Planet Fitness charged me again, this time $50 and I can't create another claim! The bank refused to pay the first claim. So, now I have -$100 on my bank account, which shouldn't have been deducted at all. Planet Fitness is not resolving the situation. I don't need the three-month membership anymore. I want my money back.

I always came there and loved spending time there. Frankly, it is one of the best gyms I have tried.
