Pretty expensive but large selection of common pet items. Tons of different foods and toys to choose from. They also have more specialty stuff like exotic animal products. I found a dog crate there for my dog but couldn’t commit to buying when I noticed it was listed in shop for $100, but selling online at around $35-40. Come here when you need something in a pinch or you’re buying lower priced things. For bigger stuff, maybe try haggling it down.

Employee, owner, whoever it was was unfriendly and came off as having racist tenancies. Nice on the phone but unapproachable in person!!!🤨 However, my grandson, my daughter's FRENCHIE does love 😤 the comparable 2 ingredient real beef dog treats this shop stocks that she gets from Petco, Pet Smart or Whole Foods Paw and hopefully if I EVER have to go back which is probably the wicked idea💡, friendlier workers or nicer approachable owners come along so we can visit pet friendly pet shop in OUR community 🤨!!!

Amazing locally-owned store. They have a great selection, but will order for you anything that they don’t usually carry or have in stock. Better prices on my dog’s food than the big online stores (chewy, amazon, petco, etc)!! Also love that they also always have food and water out for dogs.

Always a pleasure doing business here. They always come through in a pinch. Unfortunately it is not cost effective for us to by our food here as we have two 70lb dogs and get better prices online in bulk. Love this store and the owner.

Best pet store in downtown JC by far. Huge selection of food, bones, treats, etc. My dog loves going in here and the prices aren’t much more expensive than your average pet store. Owners and store workers are always friendly and helpful.

Love this small business! Always friendly and I asked the owner for a specific cat treat and he said he would look into for me. It was on the shelves within two weeks! My go to for accessories and treats etc! Highly recommend supporting them!

It's a great store for all pets with supplies for not just cats and dogs but fish, turtles, reptiles, rabbits and more. The owner also knows his stuff and is very helpful with any problem that pet owners face.

Went to this store once and was asking the worker some questions and every answer was I don’t know… if you don’t know about pets why are you working at a pet store or maybe it’s because I’m black who knows

this place is one of my favorite pet shops in the area. they carry bocce’s bakery treats for my dog which is her favorite (and mine) because of its limited ingredients and they are also very reasonably priced and dont hike up their costs. i find them kind, and fair and i enjoy giving them business. my dog loves going in and im happy to have a spot i can bring her to shop with!

Loved that they had everything I was looking for, at reasonable prices, in spite of their downtown jersey city location. Such a relief to have a pet shop nearby that doesn't charge boutique prices and is BRIMMING with all that you need AND MORE USEFUL little Knicks knacks and goodies. The gentleman at the register is so helpful, cordial, and it was a pleasure to visit.

I mean… yikes. This place is over priced, with terrible customer service. I mean terrible. I’m happy to pay a premium to support small business but I went in here for a simple product and was gouged. Atleast 30% more than it is in Hoboken. Will not go here again.

It's a friendly neighborhood pet store. They cater to dogs and cats, but they also serve up plenty for birds, reptiles, and rodents. The staff is knowledgeable, the prices are reasonable, the product selection is large, and the atmosphere is cozy. I've been shopping there for years; it's the best local pet shop.

Walked a couple of miles in a heatwave to get there. The things we do for our pets. Stocked up on items for my dog and walked a couple of miles back. I must say the walking and sweating were worth it. They had the items I was after when no other supply store did, they had it at great prices and the service was fast and friendly. This place is highly recommended.
