    The staff at Kay's are and have always been top notch and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. There have been so many people over the years. I have purchased numerous items here and have had no regrets. I always get the best service and most recently had the pleasure of having Erik's help. He was able to accommodate my hectic schedule and I am very grateful.

    Great place for men’s wedding bands! Great service, affordable prices and good inventory. My fiancé worked with Michael Davis to pick his wedding band and it was so quick & easy. Michael was very helpful, kind and honest. We were in and out in 30 mins!

    I walked into KAY Jewelers and was immediately greeted with big smiles and inviting energy from Vitoria (Vi) and Mike. Together they were so nice and informative, which made the experience very pleasant. I was sure that we were just window shopping; however, with Mike and Vi going above and beyond, my fiancé and I were able to find the perfect wedding bands. 5 STARS , Highly recommend

    Originally this review was gonna be about how one employee treated me. But after the store manager John made me feel like a human being I couldn't help but to shine a light on him he is truly genuine and cares about his customers. There is a bit of a wait but John was attentive and made sure we understood that he saw us waiting. I didn't give 5 stars because there is a bad Apple in the bunch and someone may go through what I experienced my first 15 minutes inside. None the less I left happy and forgetting why I was ever upset in the first place John you rock. seriously! also a face mask is required to enter the establishment but I didn't really see 6ft floor stickers or any covid precautions 🤔

    Had a very positive experience a few weeks ago with Michael. He was extremely patient and helpful. My fiancé and I tried on so many rings and he was so pleasant the whole time. He also helped me add items to my wishlist on my online profile. Thank you, Michael!

    Brought my ring in for "required" insurance inspection. Now my ring's center stone feels off/smaller. The inspector was a nice kid but when cleaning he was moving his hands too much and at some point checked his pockets which is completely unneed when working with jewelry. I felt like something shady was happening with his body/hand movements- if you know anything about magic you know what I mean. At best it was an odd experience at worst it was a ring swap. I don't wear my ring because I lost 50 pounds, but I know my ring and a good amount about diamonds. It was clean when I brought it in, could be in my head but I'm fairly certain the ring I came in with is not the same I left with.

    My fiance and I had an AMAZING experience this weekend at Kay Jewelers! Victoria helped us find the perfect ring and was so kind and helpful with the process! She even gave us a 20% discount which we did not expect but were, of course, delighted about! The whole experience was smooth and added to the perfect day my fiance picked to propose! We will definitely be going back for our wedding bands!!

    Today I noticed that 2 diamonds were missing out of my wedding band. Even though everything is fine because the diamonds are covered under the warranty, I hate being without my ring. I was really upset but Michael at the Herald square location made it better. He assured me it would be fixed in 2 weeks and look brand new! It gave me a lot of comfort knowing it'll be resolved quickly and his kindness made me feel much better.

    Mike was absolutely amazing. Greeted me as soon as I walked through the door. Assisted me with getting my fiancés ring’s Size adjusted. Went above and beyond to have it done in the same day! Instead of waiting 2 weeks. Was super friendly the entire time and his service inspired me to write a review for the first time! Ask for mike! Because of him I plan to make future purchases with Kay’s at this location. Thanks again mike you were great!

    Michael helped with inspection and cleaning of my ring. He provide education regarding a number my ring has, that i was not aware of. Knowing that was helpful to know for the further. He was attentive and pleasant he responded to all my questions accordingly .

    My husband and I came to this location yesterday so excited looking to buy wedding bands. We were hoping to be able to walk out with something same day. We told our associate our budget and she had no idea what she was doing. She fumbled around with different pieces, scrolled mindlessly on the kay website not even using a filter and didn’t even know basic details like what a “notched” band was. She couldn’t even tell me how wide different bands were to match my ring (which I was able to figure out on my own at home thanks to Etsy) I left in tears and empty handed after she made a rude comment about my engagement ring. Every customer should be treated the same regardless of budget or other factors. I work in the wedding business around the corner from this location and I will NEVER send a bride/couple here ever. Also this location is so tired, looks like the furniture and carpets are from the 80s. Hire people who know what they’re doing and have compassion! What should’ve been a joyful occasion turned in to humiliation and tears.

    Erik at the Herald Square location made my husband Raul and I feel like welcome guest. He greeted us as soon as we entered asking if we needed assistance. We needed some very sentimental pieces of jewelry resized due to illness based weight lose. It seemed Erik could sense how important our needs where and made us feel very comfortable. He showed patience and kindness looking up jewelry that had been purchased 20 years ago but still was in the Kay Jewelers system. Thank you Kay for the lifetime warranty system he was able to service all three pieces of Jewelry. Christianna the store manager was also lovely to us while we visited.     First time purchaser from Kay as whole, when I called in for a repair the manager was nice and I appreciated that. Unfortunately, the in-store process and attitude I was given during my follow up through the repair process was pretty lack luster. Once they knew I wasn't going to buy anything else, it felt like I was given the attitude that they had other things to do. This was true when I first went for the repair and the subsequent follow up. Next time I buy jewelry I will be considering other options.

    I just want to start off by saying the customer service was impeccable. But now for my visit. I initially came in to upgrade some diamond earrings along with my fiance. I ran into Jayanthi(she's great and sweet and look out for her she will help you get what you need), who helped me a year prior when getting an engagement ring for my now fiancé. I got switched with Vitoria, the store manager. She made my exprience worth while as I upgraded my diamond earrings. She was honest, personable, forth coming and straight up. No pressure involved in what I wanted. She took her time in helping me price wise as well as selection to meet my shopping needs. I recommend dealing with Vitoria or Jay as they both will take care you. See you soon for my next upgrade

    Sorely Disappointed. The Manager Vitoria is a racist. Bottom line. I have been a Kay's customer for many years at the Brooklyn location. Since it closed I had to go to the Manhattan store. The location is great, right across from the world famous Macy's. This was supposed to be a joyous occasion for me. Picking out my engagement ring. I was hoping the customer that I witness speaking to Vitoria would have left his own review but a few weeks have passed and I think it's an injustice the way she was treating him. He was a black man that needed assistance. I heard the way Vitoria treated him compared to the other lighter skinned customers that were in that store that day. The treatment was so disgusting the black customer called her out for being a racist in front of the entire store. It was packed. He left visibly upset, without his issue solved and to make matters worst I over heard Vitoria and another employee say "I can't believe he pulled the race card. You hired me." Referring to the fact that Vitoria hired an black woman to work. Sorry to break it to you, but just because you hire a black woman to work doesn't mean you are not a racist. I have seen plenty of racist white men marry black or immigrant women and disrespect their culture openly and the poor wife laughs it off. She still married a racist. How Vitoria treated and how she spoke to him made it clear Vitoria is racist. You have black and indian employees to sell diamonds to those demographics. Not because you are not a racist. If anything it's a clear disgusting pattern she has. Taking advantage of employees because of their cultures instead of solely on their qualifications is disgusting too. In today's day and with all the woke culture across social media you would think a Latin American woman with an accent would be more sensitive to the disgusting racial profiling and think twice before speaking down to another human let alone another minority. You can tell by how she carries herself that she is very selfish and all about material things. Her fake smile and lack of empathy for others is clear and Kay's really needs to step in because as a white woman, I felt shame that I didn't step in but I needed someone to know. Her personality is a pleaser and its so clearly fake I don't understand how she is the manager!? This is not the first time I have seen Vitoria be horrible to black people and talk down to people that appear to be lower income. To people that may not have ten thousand dollars to spend on a diamond and pass on helping them or seem so self centered she rather be somewhere else. I've seen her have a severe attitude and storm off the sales floor and hide in the back. Her racism, insincerity, and manipulative ways is all over her face and how she talks to people. There should be a cultural sensitivity training for people like her especially in the business of celebration and special events. I started to wonder the root of her issues. Your company sells love and it's obvious she needs some love from someone because issues like this come from problems stemming from childhood. The fake smile, insincere have a good day, the fake way she asks people what is their secret to a long marriage. Its clear her parents put on a show. Her parents were most likely controlling and taught her to stay away from black people. Unless they give you money. I'm sure. It's time for her to snap out of whatever childhood trauma she experienced and prejudices her parents taught her about black people and go get a hug, some love and a therapists. I am not available but I still can express how appalled I was to see that. Not on one visit but two. I won't be shopping their again and I hope others read this and go somewhere else cheaper and more respectful of ALL races and nationalities. That is in the center of NYC. You need a better manager. One that is not fake and can run a good business without crushing others who don't match what her parents taught her to hate. It's an ugly look all around

    Jayanti was very nice and really helped us to choose the wedding rings. But we ordered engraving and when we got back home I found out that there is a mistake in engraving-one missed letter in My name. I don’t really understand how is this possible-to miss letter S in name Anastasiia so it became Anastaiia. My fiancée had to go to the store again and spend few hours on the road because of that and I will do the same in couple days to pick it up. We really love quality of our rings it looks so nice, just that thing with engraving made us very disappointed bc when you getting prepared to your wedding you don’t have time for stuff like that and we had to move our plans. So I would say you should go to this store but do double check and pay attention on all details like that.

    This was my first experience with Kay jewelers & it was amazing!!! the Sales associate Janika (i could be spelling her name wrong) is a wonderful, truly a pleasure she helped me for 2 days to locate a pair of earrings that i am trying to buy. she got them sent to their location so i can buy the in person. I extremely grateful for her and the whole Kay Jewelers team. I will be shopping again soon!

    Janikaa service was absolutely perfect. I went to 6 stores to get a citizen watch, only one had it and of course no one knew how to set it. She and her assistant manager were able to get a citizen representative to come in and fix the watch. I’m forever grateful ! love this store. ASK FOR JANIKAA

    Very disappointed with this store. My finance ordered a ring from a CA Kay store and they issued the wrong size and diamond fit. After my mother went to the NY store (the ring was shipped here so that our jeweler could set the stone), and spent over an hour trying to get a solution, they agreed to fix the ring. They ended up doing a HORRIBLE job of fixing the ring (cutting it down because it was 2 sizes to big). They clearly did a botch job and you could see the ring was not really round as well as different metals was visible. My mother had to go outside of Kay to have the ring fixed properly. The ring now lots incredible, but we had to pay extra to have the ring fixed properly and look like a beautiful ring in the correct size. My fiancé also ordered the wedding band and I suspect we will have to fix it with an outside jeweler as Kay issued the wrong size. Smh.

    I purchased a jewelry from Kay and send it to be mended because the claps broke, I came to this store and gave an employee my jewelry to be repaired. The jewelry was back from been repaired yet no one at this location contacted me to let me know to come pick up my jewelry. I contacted the store about a month later asking if my jewelry was back and ready for pickup? I was informed yes it was back at the store and ready. I came to pickup my jewelry right away and I was giving a necklace that is for a kid. The chain that was 20 inches long I purchased for myself couldn’t fit my neck. I did not gain weight. I filed a claim and it’s been two weeks now haven’t heard anything from the claims department or the store. Every time I call the store to speak with the supervisor whom filed the claim she is busy and can’t come to the phone. DO NOT TAKE YOUR JEWELRY HERE FOR REPAIRS OR PURCHASE JEWELRY HERE. Til today I don’t have any jewelry because I refuse to pickup a jewelry I can’t wear that won’t fit around my neck. When I brought my jewelry there for repair it was able to go around my neck. Just the clasp broke. VICTORIA is the manager there and she is racist. I will not be coming there. VICTORIA will not come to the phone every time I call or try to find a solution to why my necklace shrunk while it was been repaired from a broken clasp only. BEWARE ☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️

    I don’t normally write reviews because I am extremely busy but I will make an exception this one time. Sore feet and feeling exhausted from ring shopping, I entered into my last stop for the day at the Kay jewelry store on 34 street. Frustrated after being treated so horribly from another store who letter starts with a “Z”; I was overwhelmed by superior customer service, genuine interest and love from Christianna,Vi, and Jayanthi. They all took the time to hear my story about the woman I love and helped me find an affordable but gorgeous ring in my price range. They were kind, patient, and walked me through the process. There were no sell tricks, lies, or racial discrimination. I felt like a rock star with them. I had a piece of the ring custom made, and they continually checked in with me the following 3 weeks until the ring was ready. They were professional and kind, and honest. The store also provides a life-time warranty on engagement rings. In the back of the store, they have repair and cleaning specialist so I never have to go to another place to repair the ring (if needed) down the road. The security team and the other employees such as Michael are warm and hilarious. This place feels like home. Plain and simple, IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN ENAGMENT RING, START AND END HERE!!!

    My fiance ordered his wedding ring from here in May and the estimated arrival was mid June/July. It is almost December and it has not arrived yet. It has also been radio silence from Kay and when we called about it they didn’t even realize it was delayed. We deserve a full refund for waiting an extra 6 months.

    I visited Kay jewelry(34 th st herald square) with my friend. Christianna help us out and she is so friendly, elegant and cheerful. We bought a pair of diamond earrings and it was actually a wonderful shopping experience because of Christianna.
