The service is always on point and if you found an item from another place they are willing to try and make it for you in there shop. I had been looking for a very specific bar-shaped earring for a really long time. Went into Martin Busch because it was recommended to me by a friend. The staff worked tirelessly to help me find the correct shape and size for the earring that I wanted. Almost lost hope, but thanks to Martin Busch Jewelers now I have the earring of my dreams!

They helped us find the perfect ring in our price range. There was no pressure to try to get us to stretch our budget or purchase something we were not sure of. I am so happy of the results of my custom halo setting for my engagement ring. My now husband was unaware that for fancy shaped diamonds that you need to get a custom halo setting which meant that for the past few years my setting had small gaps around the diamond that bothered me..I was intimidated by the process of getting it redone and the financial commitment so I left it as is. I went to Martin Busch for a completely different reason but felt so comfortable with the team that I ended up asking about a custom setting and was completely taken care of from there. I received this bracelet made of water pearls 🦪 and like the fact that it was stretching with a super strong elastic base and is vibrant. In the past some brands I used had quickly broke so I was always skeptical of elastic pearl bracelet. However this one was very very solid . I put it to the test already and it s definitely quality crafted Jewelry that can joint my princess of Senegal & queen of Harlem collection 💎 asap. Now I may even need a water pearls elastic crown made from Martin Busch jewelers..Amazing craft ⭐❤️⭐❤️!

I can't believe I was able to get two pairs of gold earrings at a great price.The staff was friendly and my salesperson Eve made suggestions but left the final decision up to me. I wii be back.

Professional and pleasant staff. I've been a customer in their system for at least 21 years and I'm content with the work. Small items and custom pieces haven't been an issue for them. I even had something that needed to be adjusted after it was created by them and it wasn't a problem for them to make it to my liking. Precious metals and stones, settings and custom work? I've had that done there. It's an intimate setting so you'll be given the proper attention you'll need to make an informed decision. Also, walk by the window display and you may see seasonal promotions.

I came in on Thursday afternoon and impulse bought a gorgeous 14kt gold rope. I 100% wasn't going to spend what I did but they made me feel so welcomed and appreciated. I just got a promotion and wanted to do something nice for myself. Now I'm weighed down by about 16 grams extra of 14 karat gold diamond cut rope chain. I wish I had more time to look at the rest of what they had, but couldn't. I know that I could have gotten the same chain elsewhere for less but I don't really care. You guys are the best

I have known this shop since the 1980s, and have purchased some very beautiful pieces of estate jewelry there. Recently, they repaired an old (from the 1930s?) gold and diamond bracelet for my partner, and she was thrilled with how they fixed the clasp, tightened the jewels, and cleaned it. Great service from very knowledgeable people. Hope they stay in the FiDi for a lot longer.

100% recommend this place for all of your jewelry needs, but especially for repair/ring resizing. My mother and I have heirloom rings from our beloved departed mother/grandmother that no other jeweler wanted to attempt resizing, and we thought we'd never be able to wear them. But thankfully I found Ozzy and Eva, who worked with us to find the best solution, meeting with us a couple of times, talking through all the possibilities, and really understanding our wishes and giving us options when no one else could. They were also able to find a teardrop ruby to replace in an earring. The results on the rings and earring were perfect, and we can now enjoy these pieces for decades to come, and remember our loved one. The prices were very reasonable, and the service was really wonderful. I feel like I’ll be stopping in periodically just to say hi to everyone there, because they are just that fantastic. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping us retain these pieces and the memories they hold. I’ll be back!

We had such a wonderful experience working with Martin Busch Jewelers to select my dream engagement ring. It was such a low pressure appointment, but they were very prepared for us with multiple stones matching our price range and description, as well as video renderings of each stone in our chosen setting. We actually ended up going with the first stone Eve showed us- how she knew exactly what I was looking for from a quick phone call before our appointment is a testament to how amazing and skilled she is. Martin Busch made a silk purse out of a sow’s ear. I had a necklace and earrings that had been sitting unworn for years. I brought them in and asked Eve if they could reset the earrings and necklace with low profile, sleek, modern bezel settings. The result was far more beautiful than I ever imagined it could be. They made custom, handmade bezels which fit and complimented the stones to perfection. I have not taken off the necklace nor the earrings since the day I picked them up. Do not hesitate to bring your custom work to them. They will get your vision and create beautiful, original pieces for you.

I can't say enough positive things about the wonderful experience my fiancé and I had at Martin Busch. We worked with Eva to design a ring that exceeded both of our expectations. I thought I knew what I wanted and we planned to order online, but I didn't know my ring size. I went into Martin Busch, which is close to my office, just to try to get sized. I had no intention of purchasing, so this was mostly a fun lark. As I talked to Eva about my planned ring, she pointed out some issues with durability and wear and offered some alternatives. I called my boyfriend and suggested we make an appointment. It was clear we needed professional guidance to get what we wanted. At our appointment, Eva showed us several stones (including what I initially thought I wanted) and settings. She explained the pros and cons of each, including longterm wear, maitenance, and pricing. She really helped educate us on options we didn't even know were available. Most importantly to me, Eva was incredibly respectful of our price point. We had a modest budget and that was part of the reason we primarily looked online. Not only did we get a MUCH better piece than if we had gone online, Eva made us feel like valued VIPs. I was nervous that a jeweler would be dismissive or try to pressure us into something out of budget, but that couldn't have been farther from what happened. It was such a fun, positive, low-stress way to start this next chapter in our relationship. I can't wait to go back for our wedding rings. We'll be customers for life!

We opted for a less common gemstone, alexandrite, and she was able to order a couple stones for us to view. We gave her band ideas that we liked and she was to help us narrow done the options. Nice but smallish jewelry store with surprisingly large selection and staff willing to get you what you need if they don't have in stock. Expect to pay full retail but hey, it's Lower Manhattan. Ordered a woman's wedding ring size 4 and they delivered, without telling us in advance, that it would be a size 6 ring and they would resize it themselves. It was still too big when delivered and had to be re-sized again (2 weeks wait). Management was responsive and gave a discount as a make good.

Bought earrings and a ring from here. At the time of purchase, the lady at the store encouraged to come exchange any pieces of jewelry with something new or more if I was interested. Had a size issue with the ring and also wanted to exchange it for another ring and it was an appalling experience. This time the different lady was there, I explained to her that I was there either for size fix or open to new ring and see what they have. She was rude from the get go, had zero interest in talking to me or showing me new jewelry or providing any minimal customer service. She then told me that the ring cannot be exchanged, they will buy it back but for $30 bucks, I was shocked. I paid about $600 for the ring and I had the ring for barely 6 months. I asked for explanation on price for a ring that was $600 to $30 in about 6 months when I wore the ring for about 3/4 times max. She said that we will not pay for the diamonds, the max you can get for gold is $30. I was super confused because they sold me the ring with marketing the exchange or return for another piece of jewelry so I asked her, how come they don't take their own diamonds for a barely used ring which was pretty much brand new and how in the world this gold is worth $30. She rudely said that's how it is going to be, if you don't like it then you can sell it somewhere else. This experience made me realize how much cheap quality their raw materials i.e. gold and diamond must be and how poorly the ring must be created. Never buying any jewelry from this brand every again and new buyers beware. If I knew the ring was $30 worth, I would have paid them that not a discounted marketed price of about $600.

I ordered a pair of earrings off the website and was amazed when they arrived. They are more beautiful and sparkly in person than they were online. Shipping was quick and packaged very well. Prices are wonderful for the quality of diamonds and the customer service responded quickly to my questions.

This is my go-to jewelry store for every occasion for my wife and daughter. The owners and sales people are all so nice and also tuned in to her style and so are full of excellent suggestions. It is also just a nice low pressure store that allows you to browse freely, which I appreciate. There are so many options in NYC and though of course we shop all over, we always also manage to work in stops here as well. And again, for holidays and special occasions when I am just not sure what to get, I just pop in here and always leave satisfied and most importantly my wife and daughter are always happy:)

I ordered a wedding band for my fiancé in May During quarantine and Eva could not have made the process more convenient. She was very responsive over email, and the band was ready and hand delivered (we live in the neighborhood) in a timely fashion. The band is sturdy and very comfortable. I ended up leaving the store with a pair of earrings recommended by Madison, to match my new necklace purchase. She took down my number to check in about my purchase later in the week and even wrote me a handwritten Valentine’s Day card. My experience with Eve G was wonderful! She was so knowledgeable of size, width, quality, color, and duration of completion. My order was entirely online. I had to leave a review because I've never had an online purchase feel as comfortable as if I were in the store myself. Will return for another order with her in a heartbeat!

I got pushed by the salesperson to get a custom made engagement ring here and she reassured me there won’t be any issues and that she’s never had an unsatisfied customer. Well, there were lots of issues and she just kept insisting I need to pay more and more deposits for her bench jeweler to keep fixing it every time. The price for the work done and the diamonds is very steep as well. I would not recommend going here and stick to the diamond district. The process was supposed to be a happy and joyful one, it ended up being a headache and a disaster.
