Here from out of town. Was told to come in by cardiologist. I witnessed nurse put urine container under the bed and when they moved the pt it was dragged down the hallway and than put back in the room. When they cleaned the room they moved the urine container but they didn’t clean up the urine and put a bed back over it. Watched them put a patient in a dirty bed and not think twice. I had my dr get mad at me when I asked questions about my X-ray. He got rude when he discharged me and didn’t give me any info other than follow up with your dr. Should have not of wasted my day. Didn’t feel like they cared at all, he also said he would do tests he didn’t do.

Most of the photos are from patient rooms around the 11th floor. These are the nicest rooms I’ve ever seen in a hospital! iPads for patients to control the rooms (electric blinds, temperature, television, ordering meals, lighting, music, etc)! In addition, the staff was wonderful and went out of their way to make the patients feel at ease and cared for.

We had very difficult times here. The staff on ER were very efficient and helpful but the Hospital's staff never really told us what happened to our friend not even to their relatives or the patient himself. Everyday it was all uncertain. We left the hospital full of doubts and with absolutely no clear communication from the doctors.

World class vast hospital complex. Many highly rated multidisciplinary departments and experienced physicians who excel in their prospective fields. People visit the hospital from throughout the United States and the world. This hospital should be considered strongly as a medical treatment option.

If you are really need Emergency help please don't come here. Pediatrician Doctor don't really care! Nurses are great but the doctors are too busy ( maybe too much patient) but the way they treat patients and the waiting time is ridiculous! No treatment need and you have to wait 8 hours to get paperwork done!

Absolutely the best. They took such good care of me. Very nice and attentive nurses. Even the doctors checked on my regularly after surgery. I won't go any other hospital from now on.

I’m actually I hoped to give the hospital 5 stars, they are had very bad nurse I just met 2 good nurses one of them when I arrived for first day and the other good nurse is man I met him at night the day before I leav the hospital, those only 2 nice nurs but all the other three is very bad and especially the one with me before I leaved the hospital this was the last shift in the hospital is very rude nurse she doesn’t have any experience she hurt me and my hand bleeding to much in my pants she is not deserved to be in nice hospital , look in my pants , even I was bleeding in the land room and she even doesn’t do nothing, I just want say thank you for mrs Aline because she supported me and help me , thanks again but I hope to choose all you nurse in the correct way because this part in the hospital it’s very important for the patients, you need to have nurse with experience

That's my hospital and the service there is good. I even have the NYU Langone App and it's easy to use and it displays everything you need to know concerning your service with them .

NYU is the best hospital me and my family experience in NYC. Everyone is Profesional and knowledgeable there, starting from doctors, nurses and even receptionists and security. My mother had an open heart surgery performed by Dr. Michail Vaynblat MD. Surgery was very successful and my mom was discharged on 5th day and since then she is feeling great! If it wasn’t for Dr. Vaynblat and the entire staff at NYU, I don’t even think my mom would’ve survived and celebrate upcoming holidays with us! I highly recommend NYU if you need medical help. But most importantly, I am very grateful to NYU staff for their support! Thank you and all the blessings to you all!

I worked at NYU Medical Center in the 1980’s in the recovery room as a nursing assistant. It was the best job. We had the spirit of excellences from the doctors all the way down to the janitor❤️ Very good memories .

Really kind nurses and dedicated doctors. Room was a little busy overnight but overall a really positive experience.

Best hospital in NYC , staff is wonderful and attentive but housekeeping is lacking.

I recently visited NYU Medical and overall, my experience was positive. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they made me feel welcome. However, I did notice that the hospital seemed to lack proper housekeeping. While this didn't significantly impact my visit, it was a bit disappointing to see that the hospital wasn't as clean as it could have been. Overall, I would recommend NYU Medical for their friendly staff, but it would be nice to see more attention given to cleanliness in the future.

I am waiting for my parent in the surgical services and procedures section and not one of the numerous staff on the 6th floor Kimmel Pavillion told off two white women who were openly eating a salad with salad dressing open and chatting without a face mask. One lady was wearing red with black jacket and a green suitcase and sneakers with the logo “v”. Her friend was waiting for her husband to finish a surgery. They seem to be oblivious of their surrounding with elderly and those who would be compromised by their reckless behavior. A male medical staff came out to speak to them and didn’t even notice or appear to care their behavior. Is this a hospital or a republican rally? I am appalled by this. I expected more from a private hospital like NYU.

Great institution... Great care

The hospital provides good care for patients, but their visitation policy is restrictive. They only allow two people at a time to visit the patient. Even if the best doctor in the world wants to visit, they won't allow him to see the patient if there are already two people in the room.

Worst visitation system in the world. They allow only up to 2 visitors the whole time, which I get. But it has to be the same 2 people 5 days in a row. How can it be the same 2 people every single time? People don’t have jobs? What if it’s a spouse and 2 children? You cant even switch the visitors!!!!!! The ridiculousness of this rule is mind boggling. Are you a hospital or Guantanamo Bay?

A very beautiful, clean & doctors & nurses are very helpful & with compassion!

I always find the doctors and nurses very willing to answer all questions.
