The front desk is often forgetful and unprofessional. They are also too aggressive in their push for tests and treatments. I feel like I'm at a car dealership. One saving grace is that the doctor was very helpful in explaining what was going on.

The closure in my previously treated leg failed and my spider veins returned. I made an appointment and it turned out to be a new location of the practice that treated me the first time. Not a deal breaker. I initially thought I was getting good care this second time but I felt rushed when I wanted the doctor to use the rest of the saline on as many areas as possible. They were billing my insurance so I wanted all my syringes used but she only used about a syringe and a half and left the remaining on the table because apparently my time was up. The one area she attempted to clear blockages on didn’t work and I’m still uncomfortable with the discoloration on my legs. If you get the radio frequency ablation make sure they use every last syringe because after that you’ll have to pay out of pocket for any further “cosmetic”work for your spider veins.

Fantastic experience here. I did a considerable amount of research about varicose veins and was happy to find this center. The doctors that work here are Harvard trained and I was able to get my spider veins treated efficiently by competent practitioners. Highly recommended!! The staff are all very personable and the detail to quality care and follow up calls were great! I felt like Dr. Mike took the time to answer all my questions and explain to me exactly what the procedure was. I was impressed by all of the high tech equipment at the office.

If it were possible to give 10 stars I would. I am so appreciative of Dr. Hanna and all his staff. Aside from being the most professional medical facility I've ever visited, this group of amazingly happy professionals work together so seamlessly. Everything piece of equipment is state of the art, as is the training, and depth of knowledge. I'm amazed that every time I come in that Dr. Hanna really listens, remembers, and is actively engaged in my well being. You get the sense that the practice will fight for your well-being, whether advocating for your insurance, or ensuring that your treatment always comes first. I drive commute from the Berkshires because I can't imagine going anywhere else--ever. I love everything about this practice and am grateful for the highest quality of care.

I have been coming to this practice for about 2 years now and it's been a great experience. The staff is friendly and caring . The doctors are amazing. I have been dealing with Dr Hanna for my back issues and he has done more for my back pain in this short amount of time than 12 years with other doctors . I am really glad that I've found Dr Hanna and VIP Clinic . It's convenient , clean and also a beautiful office. Update.... This doctor's office is truly the best. Dr Hanna is an amazing doctor who cares about his patients. He stepped up to the plate to be my advocate ! Other doctors always try to pass the buck to another office . This clinic is a total scam. I was told I needed surgery that I did not need and found this out with a 2nd opinion elsewhere. Worse I was brought into a room with some guy on an Ipad video call trying to pressure me to sign a form about payment. Never have I ever seen such thing in a medical office. Now they're sending me a bill for $743 dollars when they were already paid by the insurance company and they're telling me they're sending this as a compliance requirement for insurance but they WERE ALREADY PAID as I mailed the check the insurance company sent to me directly to them, AND I was in the office for 15 minutes getting an evaluation for services. I had nothing done! The customer service rep told me on the phone today, "You don't owe anything, this is just to show the insurance company". I asked for an email stating I don't owe anything or a call from the supervisor, but I've received neither! I will never go back to this doctor and this type of clinic is why our healthcare system is such a mess.

I had a wonderful experience at the Vein Clinic and Pain Treatment Center. Dr. Montoya was the doctor who treated me. From the first appointment I knew I was in good hands! Dr. Montoya and the staff took their time answering any and all questions I had in a thorough manner. They offered me heat ablation treatment and sclerotherapy for my veins. My legs feel and look much better and I am very grateful for that. The doctors here truly care about their patients and make them feel comfortable. They are personable and honest, and above all want to help. I also want to note that the procedures were painless. (For the ablation you are our under a localized anesthesia.) They are minimally invasive procedures and you can leave from the center pain free!

My review is a little late since it’s been 2 years since the treatment but it is even better because my legs are still PERFECT. I had horrible varicose veins and it is even more sad because it developed in my early twenties. I finally had the time and courage to get the treatment and it was the best thing I ever did for myself. Dr. Juan Montoya is a miracle worker. I was so pleased with Dr. Montoya and my nurse Cassandra on 9/10/20. They were so professional and kind to me during my vein surgery scheduled to reduce my pain and unsightly veins. I can’t say enough about the cleanliness of the office. They followed all the covid19 protocols. Doctor Montoya has the most caring touch I felt no pain during the whole procedure. Cassandra is so detail oriented and thorough it’s amazing. I am so happy they decided to do my procedure. After going to the Vein Center in Queens, NY and being dismissed by them. I felt even more determined to find an excellent Doctor to perform my much needed procedure. And thank God I found it at the Vein Treatment clinic. I was pleasantly surprised at how important it is to have good customer service when you been treated poorly somewhere else.

I was treated by Dr. Juan Montoya for a right/left leg vein procedure. It was 4 office visits with follow-ups. It was a little painful but the results can take time to heal. I would recommend this clinic as they have professional vein specialists like Dr. Montoya. Excellent medical service and staff.

I don't think I can thank the doctors and staff enough at the Vein Clinic & Pain treatment center in NYC. The service, attentiveness and professionalism of everyone in the office was beyond my expectations. I was treated for knee pain by Dr. Hanna. I have been a runner my whole life up until a few months ago when I discovered that I developed Iliotibial Band Syndrome in my right knee, which not only hindered my ability to run, but my walking too . I had been to countless other doctors in the NYC area and Dr. Hanna was the only one to effectively target the problem with the proper treatment and care. After I received treatment, I was back in the gym running within a weeks time. I can't thank Dr. Hanna enough. His knowledge and ability to explain to me as a patient what exactly was going on in a way that I could understand it was extremely comforting and impressive. I referred the treatment center to friends and family who suffer from other pain and vein issues. They have had nothing but amazing things to say about the other doctors in the practice, as well. I have been seeing Dr Hanna and his Team of skilled professionals for treatment on a chronic issue. During our time working together, I not only began to have longer term relief and healing, but I also learned quite a bit from our discussions. I had given up hope of being pain free in my back and hips. I thought the pain was something I had to live with and I told my daughter as much when she said I should try another doctor or physical therapy as my neurologist had also suggested. Soon after that conversation I saw an ad for VIP Pain Specialists on Instagram. I admit I saw it a few more times before I called them to make an appointment. When Dr Shane Volney came into the exam room to speak to me after his assistant had done a preliminary work up, he examined me and pointed out the exact locations of my pain. He then explained the diagnosis and the treatment he thought would help me. There would be injections. I’ve had one injection in my back a few years ago from a different doctor and that did nothing to alleviate my pain. And it was very uncomfortable. With Dr Volney my experience was the total opposite. I’ve had three injections in three different locations (as he had prescribed) and he talked me through each injection and there was barely any discomfort at all. He even allowed my daughter in the room for the first two injections. He warned I would be a little sore the next day but I would be feeling better. To wrap up this long review I will just saw this. I am finally pain free and I am so grateful and happy to have seen that ad for the practice and for having Dr Volney treat me. It has been absolutely amazing!!! I’ve had multiple vascular procedures at VIP medical with Dr. Montoya. The staff is very friendly and professional, the place is clean and tidy. The procedure itself is painless and Dr. Montoya is very skilled, makes it quick and explains any procedure to a tee. The staff will walk you through every step including aftercare. I’ve had no complications, I am so happy everything worked out better than expected, after a decade of pain in my legs, I no longer feel pressure and the healing process was fast. The Vein & Pain Treatment Clinic have been a live saver for me and my feet. Before I went for treatment I couldn’t walk two blocks without incredible pain in my legs and feet. I woke up daily with pain and heaviness in my legs which was debilitating. The doctors are incredible and Dr. Volney is absolutely incredible!!!! He is an amazing addition to the team and he did an awesome job of giving me my life back so I can function normally without pain. Life changer. Game changer. If you’re having doubts, don’t. The procedures were in office and minimally invasive. I work in Midtown so I did the procedures during my lunch time which were surprisingly covered by my insurance. I’ve encouraged my dental hygienist and anyone who's told me they had foot pain to call them because they are really good. Why suffer when you don’t have to… I did for three years before I walked through the doors at 290 Madison Avenue.
