I
accompanied
my
wife
for
an
appointment
with
dr.
Lee
on
September
2nd.
Our
travel
insurance
pre-agreed
to
reimburse
our
payment
on
a
later
date
(since
this
clinic
is
not
in
our
travel
insurance's
list
of
cashless-enabled
medical
facilities),
so
we
paid
cash
upfront
for
dr.
Lee's
services.
To
his
credit,
dr.
Lee
was
very
friendly,
and
quickly
diagnosed
my
wife's
problem.
However,
we
were
later
billed
with
an
assortment
of
lab
fees
which
dr.
Lee
never
prescribed
to
my
wife,
nor
did
my
wife
consented
for.
My
wife
called
the
clinic's
receptionist
about
the
bill,
and
the
receptionist
told
her
to
ignore
the
bill
as
it
was
sent
out
by
mistake.
But
later
on,
the
same
bill
was
sent
again
to
our
address,
so
this
time
my
wife
called
the
billing
office
on
November
15th.
The
billing
office
person
confirmed
that
it
is
a
mistake
and
that
they
will
correct
the
billing
database.
Yet
they
sent
us
the
same
bill
again,
so
my
wife
called
the
billing
office
again
on
December
6th,
and
the
billing
office
person
explained
that
the
bill
is
for
the
lab
tests.
My
wife
obviously
disputed
the
bill
for
the
lab
test,
so
the
billing
office
told
her
that
they
will
look
into
it
and
promised
to
call
her
back,
but
they
never
did.
Since
then
my
wife
have
called
the
billing
office
at
least
four
times
and
left
voice
messages
every
time
(since
they
never
called
back).
Meanwhile,
they
sent
us
yet
another
bill,
for
a
total
of
four
bogus
bills.
I
doubt
that
they
actually
conducted
any
lab
test
on
my
wife
since
dr.
Lee
never
took
any
lab
sample
in
the
first
place,
and
there
are
no
test
results
in
my
wife's
Patient
Portal
even
to
this
day
(I
reiterate
that
my
wife
was
never
prescribed
or
consented
to
any
lab
test)
yet
they
kept
sending
us
these
bogus
bills.
We
are
thinking
of
filing
a
complaint
to
relevant
authorities.
