    If I could give one star I would. I made an appointment for a covid test for 9:30am. When I got there at 9am I was told to wait downstairs. I asked if I could sign in and was told “no someone will go down and get you”. I come to find out that the supervisor wouldn’t let me sign in so when I went back up to ask her why I couldn’t sign in, she turned to another worker and said loudly, “I’m not helping these white people”. She refused me medical services because she assumed that I was white. She’s absolute garbage and so is this place. Overbooked appointments. No social distancing. Absolutely disgusting. Also, this business is not BBB approved so there is no complaint line.

    😢 I went to UrgentWay very sick today, December 31st, 2023. My mom is sick also. The young lady at the front desk is sweet. She told me that my phone numbers were entered in incorrectly and she fixed them. After paying my 40 dollar copay my mom and I were triaged by a sweet medical assistant. We finally met with a doctor who was kind of rude. I wasn't too pleased with his demeanor towards us. My mom tested positive for covid, I didn't. He sent zpack for her because she is 70 years old. He also sent zpack for me but he sent it to the wrong pharmacy. I specifically said that the pharmacy I normally use is closed on Sundays and if he could please send it to the Walgreens on Crosby Ave. Now I have to suffer until Tuesday because both pharmacies are closed until then. I'm very very upset. I live right across the street so this location is convenient for me but I don't think I'm ever going back there. I could have just waited until Tuesday and saw my primary care doctor.

    I setup an appointment online for 9:30am for the $150 out of pocket Covid CPR text for an upcoming International emergency family trip at 10:45pm. I patiently waited over ONE HOUR to take that test, even after being mistreated by a careless front desk clerk, that could not even be bothered to ask the reason for my visit and just told me to “sign your name here and wait” only to find out around 10:45am from the super nice nurse (5 stars to him) that I would only get the results next day. Anyway, such a waste of time - And sad that they advertise for a service that they do not provide.

    Called to schedule a rapid covid test. Was told to do it on the website. Scheduled for RAPID test on website. Went in for appointment Wait time = 1.5 hours Their excuse? Oh, we've been calling your name, you must not have heard us- no, that's complete BS. they forgot. Then at the end we ask when the results are coming they say 1-3 days. But I scheduled a rapid test, which gets results in an hour. Done this many times elsewhere. They did the wrong tests and now we have to wait longer for results. Incompetent people working here. Do not recommend at all.

    If I could give zero reviews I would .. I went two days ago for a walk-in COVID test was told that they were not taking walk ins I stated there was no signage stating so .. the young blonde woman at the front desk advised me to make an appointment on line in order to be seen. I did make an appointment on line for today 12/31 at 2:45 I arrived early before 2 pm since o kept calling and the prompt would count down to 1 saying you are the next caller and then hung up saying mailbox was full and nobody was available to take my call . I arrived at the location to find at least 10 people who had been turned away saying that the manager advised they were closing at 2 pm today. We were not contacted to be informed or have our appointments rescheduled. There were over 30 people in the hallway on the way up to the location who were about to be turned away as well. Now count the numbers if two out of the 30 were positive and now they are around 30 people they are going home to their families and infecting them and so forth and so on .. then we want to know why the virus is still active look how medical professionals are turning people away from testing sites with scheduled appointments. I myself have been sick for two days and waited for my appointment as per the managers instructions and still was turned away. This is no way to treat people who are already sick.. I understand that everyone wants to spend time with their family for the holiday but we are still very much in a pandemic and staff should have contacted those 30 something people and rescheduled their appointments. Update: I ended up testing positive at another location and am just beginning to feel better. I have yet to hear back from management or anyone. This entire process and workflow needs an overhaul lives are at stake here ..

    I Will never I repeat, never go back to this place. The young girl who does the intake had a head wrap with Jordan’s on. What ever happened to the scrubs/uniform to represent the medical field? Anyways, I was transferred to 3 different rooms (they were playing musical chairs with me). Waited a whole hour to be told by the doctor“sorry I can’t do nothing for you”. So I went in for my ibs pain seeking some sort of insight/ resolution to my pain, bloat and discomfort. The doctor (old male) asked me to lay flat to examine my stomach. He said to me that I basically look fine and I have no bloat. I said, obviously the bloat won’t show cuz I’m lying flat. I told him I was lactose intolerant and that Ive been constipated for days. He says, maybe you should drink regular cow milk to do diarrhea whilst he laughs at my pain. He also told me to do the things that I know I’m supposed to do. Drink water and eat my veggies and then he said “sorry I can’t do nothing for you. I was shocked. This covid pandemic really changed humanity. Even doctors laugh at your pain and turn down your need for help. Moral of the story is… to my ibs sufferers, they won’t love you here. You will be laughed at and told to F off!!! Do not come here this place is horrible. Go to the er and explore your options. Fast forward 2 weeks later: I get a text message from a 833 area code billing me for the service that I was denied from the doctor. If it’s not paid, I will be sent to collection. This place should go out of business. They don’t provide any treatment service just headaches and stress during this recession. People take notes!!!

    Upon entering the office the greeting at the front desk is nonexistent. The nurse was more hands on than Dr. Jean Jeanty. As I was in the room he entered with his hands in his pocket and that's where they stood. He didn't bother checking my ears, throat or chest. If you go to this location it's more for a consult not for a Dr to actually check you. I basically paid 35 dollars for the assistance of the nurse and a note for work. This was not the first time I have experienced this with this Dr. But it will be the last as I won' be going there anymore.

    Love coming here, everytime i request an appointment literally a few minutes before and I never have to wait too long. Two years ago the staff weren’t so friendly and knowledgeable but it’s so much better now! For the past 3-4 times I’ve been here, it has been a great experience for my family and I.

    This was terrible customer service. I’ll separate into two parts. Taking the test: My parents had an appointment for 5:30, showed up at 5:00 only to wait 3 AND A HALF HOURS. The staff tried to convince them to leave and come back another day but considering we needed it for travel they stayed. Basically, it doesn’t matter if you have an appointment or not they prioritize on a “first come first serve” basis so you might as well walk in. Receiving the results: After receiving a text notification that our results were ready we were prompted to make a patient portal account. We tried to and it said we needed to contact the office, we do that (only 4 minutes after getting the results) but they’re now closed. We ended up having to cancel our plans for the following day so we could go into their office and receive the results ONLY TO HEAR that an email would be sent. Poor communication by staff. But for what it’s worth the actual testing (nasal swab) was quick and painless. Update: My mother was EMBARRASSED by the front desk person who, after pulling up her results told her “Just go in the hall. Just go in the hall” without explanation as to why. Hearing this, people nearby all backed away and soon she found herself being shunned without reason. We asked for our test results on paper and NEVER received it because it was a HIPPA violation(?) to receive YOUR OWN RESULTS?! Even if her test was positive, there’s a protocol to be followed by healthcare professionals. Proper guidance should’ve been given or even a pseudo isolation space, but nothing. 4 hours later we have yet to receive the results. Since then we’ve each been tested TWICE at a different facility and met with a doctor (the proper protocol was followed). It was a truly horrible experience.

    SCAM, SCAM! First, I was told my insurance was paying for my exam for work and only needed to pay $40. When I went there, I was told I had to pay my co payment on top of the $40! Now they want another $30! I highly recommend getting the cost in writing before service. Won't be going there ever again. Can't be trusted!

    **UPDATE** They still refuse to delete the $135 bill. I had to file a complaint with the Dept. of Health. (Please see below for details.) __________________________________________________________ 'Not-So'-UrgentWay. On October 9 2023 I was traveling to work and while running up the stairs in the subway, I tripped and banged my knee on the concrete stairs hurting my knee badly. So, I decided to get back on the train (from 42nd street) and travel back to this UrgentWay. (I traveled to UrgentWay because I assumed they were going to clean, disinfect, and bandage my knee.) HOWEVER, I WAS VERY WRONG. HERE'S WHY: 1) They didn't have the proper equipment. (No X-Ray machine to see if I had any broken bones). 2) They didn't have the proper medicine. (The doctor told me I needed a tetanus shot. So, I asked him if he could give me the shot. His response was, ''Go and get it from your primary care doctor''). 3) HE LOOKED AT MY BLOODY KNEE, AND TOLD ME TO GO HOME AND BANDAGE MY OWN KNEE. (I limped all the way home and cleaned and bandaged my own knee). 4) No Empathy. (As I left their office limping, I didn't sense much empathy at all from them.) 5) Three weeks later, they had a colossal nerve to ask me for $130 co-pay for the visit. (I told told them I will NOT pay it, and if I receive a bill, I will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.) WITH THE CURRENT MANAGEMENT, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS URGENT-WAY AT ALL. You're better off doing everything yourself, or going somewhere else.

    When I first went to this place, I loved it. It was clean and the people were so kind, so I decided to stay with them! Last time I went there I went for a covid test which is free in most of the country and I was charged 150 + 250 of laboratory charge! I will never go back to this place again!

    Lisa the office manager is GREAT! She provides great quality care and recommended a different pharmacy to use. I am so happy she mentioned that place because I couldn’t do Walgreens anymore. What a delight to have her working in medical care!

    This urgent care is horrible. My sister had an emergency and was not feeling well. There are two ladies in the front desk and one of them her name was Joanna and acted like she knew everything and made a mistake with insurance. We were here around 2:56pm 01/27/2023…Instead of charging her $75 she got charged $150. We had to let her re-confirm and she refunded back the fees which will take certain business day. She kind of had an attitude to her patient which makes this place horrible. I have been here few times. It was not like that. I usually have good employees in thr front. I rather you guys go to City-MD in westchester Sq or Throgs neck if you are around the area. I would give ZERO STAR but the least I can give is ONE STAR. Please train your front desk with all the knowledge with insurance before charging extra for the patient. If they don’t know ask the manager not just charge without knowing. Please always check ur bill because this place will charge extra.

    Unprofessional and mostly uninterested in helping in general. Only interested in taking my money after my two visits. Second visit was a follow up with no official appointment to see if the medication was helping. Sat in the waiting room for 10 minutes to tell the doctor my condition didn't improve and then have her say: "Well there is nothing else I can do for you here, I'm going to get you a referral." Waited 5 minutes for the doctor to say "I don't know a specialist in the area. You should take this referral and call your primary care doctor for a specialist" When calling yesterday to settle my 150 dollar payment for the first visit I was informed I was being charged an ADDITIONAL 150 dollars for the doctor telling me she can't do anything else and to call my primary care to get the name of a specialist to use the referral. What's worse is the person over the phone was very dismissive when I asked about the charge for the second visit. He went on to say that he'd just charge me fully for both visits and I could call back on Monday to talk about the second charge. Definitely won't be returning to this place. For anyone needing to just go back for a follow up and possible referral see if you can save yourself and use phone or email I'm not unruly, 150 for the first visit is fine. There was time and effort put in by the doctor but being charged another 150 for my second visit given how it went is absolutely ridiculous Upate Called back on 10-31-22 and was unsuccessful in even getting a slight refund for the second visit

    I have never met a person as disinterested in their work as the lady at the reception today. A healthcare facility with such a repulsive person, who is so stingy with information, which is why I came twice and wasted an entire day and did not finish what I needed to do. Although it is the closest to home, I will never come again. I do not recommend at all!!!

    Terrible, I made an appointment for 12:15p and arrived at 11:40a; I was told the wait time may not be true to appointment times so I left my name and number because the receptionist said they would call me being that the waiting room and hallway had people lined up; I sat in my car until 1:07p which is when I decided to go check, only to find out I had been skipped. If you are looking for good service, this isn’t the place for you.

    Decent service when I was there but impossible to get in contact with them on the phone. They keep you on hold for what seems like forever. I was next to speak to a rep and it disconnected me and had to do it all over again. If you need lab results do not call. You might as well go back and get them in person.

    RUDE and Unprofessional front desk staffs I normally don't write review but this time I have to. Bronx Urgentway should address the rudeness and unprofessional front desk staffs, who are first point of contact to anyone getting service from this facility. They mixed up my name with an existing patient and did not register my records even though I insisted its my first visit. In other occasion, they totally forgot about my daughter in law and kept her waiting in separate room when she went for Covid test. Didn't feel sorry for this long wait. They barely receive calls and put you on hold for long time while they tend to enjoy time on personal calls. I hope management will pay attention to front desk service.

    Was able to create an arrangement online and be there all inside 30 minutes. Quick and neighborly. Over all, taking after the social removing and sanitizing all around made me feel secure. Would certainly utilize them again and suggest others who got to go.

    I get people's issues. But this place is better than city MD. Cause i lost my meds n city md was like come in again so they can charge your insurance... also you cant even talk to city md doctors on the phone... but can talk to them at this location on the phone. Thats why i called in and she gave me more meds i lost without coming in for another visit. Thats not great.

    They didn’t have enough equipment. I had two positive pregnancy test that I took at home ( Clearblue) and I requested to take the blood test and when the staff matter took out blood the samples wasn’t labeled and the results was negative and I don’t believe that is my blood. But I will get checked in the regular GYN doctor. Urgent care is not good for pregnancies stuff. I didn’t saw them labeling the blood samples and there are more patients that did blood test. When you want to do blood test please don’t go to urgent care go to your regular doctor or emergency room.

    I came in for a test while waiting in the waiting room I witness a nurse speaking out loud from behind a closed door and you can hear clear as day the nurse putting other patients private information talking it out loud for everyone to hear. She was extremely rude, she also said out loud that she did not care if it was heard. Also threaten the same patient that was being spoked about. Could not get the nurses name and no other employees wanted to give that information. I felt extremely uncomfortable and embarrassed for the patient. That nurse should have been fired and she's for hippa violations and threaten a patient. Will be following up on my own blog for full story. If you don't want your job you should have left that Monday like everyone else.

    I was so Happy I found this medical center. I was looking for a place for testing. I arrived to a clean nice space. The receptionist were friendly. I waited a few then was called in. I spoke with a gentleman who took my blood pressure he was very nice and pleasant. I want to give a five star times over for my doctor that day. I was going through a ruff time. He noticed my demeanor he took the time to speak to me . He listened to me very attentively, where I was given an referral for further help. He went above and beyond. I was so grateful for him I really needed that support. I will be back and definitely referring friends, family, co-worker’s etc. Thank you Doctor P.s will return with his name have to find it!!

    Went to get a rapid test and had to wait 3 hours in line. I couldn’t wait that long, so I rescheduled for the following day. The following day was much smoother and I got a rapid test in a timely manner. I appreciated the additional PCR test recommendation, but when I called to receive my test results I kept waiting in the call queue and then disconnected after 10 mins of waiting. This happened 4 times this morning. On top of that, their mailbox is full and can’t take messages. I understand that these times are tough for everyone, and I totally recognize how busy and hectic is it at this location. But, jumping through all these hoops to receive critical COVID results is not acceptable. It shouldn’t be this difficult for patients to get results.

    I honestly had the best experience here. I showed up it was one person before me and I was in and out in 30 mins and my results were in next morning. (I went before the whole omicron outbreak though so good luck) and they aren’t charging 100, only pay through insurance.

    I loveeeee Lisa !!!! She’s the best. She’s kind, respectful, careful, and personable all while still remaining professional. I hate getting blood work done because I always get pinched but when she does it, I feel NO PAIN! She’s the coolest & she’s also very good with kids. Very quick & efficient for a weekday.
