This place does not use solutions from the official HydraFacial. My girlfriend overheard the owner speaking with his staff about it. When my girlfriend got a HydraFacial there, she said they manually applied the peel instead of using the Hydrafacial machine.

It's a decent salon, Leesa was great & I had nice experiences there... until I tried to leave and my goodness, what a nightmare its been. I cancelled my sub in August b/c I moved 400 miles away but they kept trying to charge me. Now, they are claiming I owe them over $1k (no idea where they got that figure from) in missed payments and have threatened to destroy my credit score by going to a collections agency. Tried to reach out to Matt Pruitt, the owner, to discuss, but he refused to take my call. I had a good relationship with him in the past and this is really disappointing to would treat a loyal client this way who never missed a payment in three years. So, a WARNING, they make it very hard on you when you try to leave, make sure to change your bank details!

Falling in love with my skin again!:) I got Fraxel Dual last week with Leisa and could not be happier with my results so far! Leisa was very friendly, professional, and communicative throughout the procedure. The office itself is immaculate and smells nice. :) I'm really pleased with the quality of service and price point! As a person of a darker complexion, I was a little hesitant of getting a laser treatment on my face; but I went for a fraxel refresh and I am so happy with the results. My skin tone is a lot more even and smooth, and my wrinkles slightly reduced. Leisa who performed the treatment is a pro and put me at ease with my concerns, and Matt the owner is awesome.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR! Skin Bar is a MUST. I started coming here in 2018 because I had super bad cystic acne I developed at 30 after going off birth control pills. I wanted a place with a membership to get on a plan to fix my skin, hand in hand with my esthetician (Leisa). It was the most amazing transformation for me as I looked forward to my wedding in 2019 and I'm so grateful for their dedication and services offered. The cystic acne was managed within the first year by combing both Dermaplane & Laser Genesis and I've continued my membership ever since doing more services offered to help maintain younger looking skin, newest favorite is the microneedling. Booking appointments is easy and the owner, Matt, is often in reception excited to hear about your experience and journey. Honestly, I don't even need to wear makeup anymore - I love the membership because every month can be different depending on what is recommended based on my skin that month. Nothing left to say except that you won't regret coming here :)

I spent thousands of dollars and many years on laser hair removal here with very little result. I was told that it was because my skin is darker and it was normal to take longer. Finally I gave up but decided to try another laser hair removal place that claimed to specialize in darker skin. I’ve noticed dramatic hair growth reduction in three sessions. I regret going there for as long as I did.

I really wanted to make the best of the situation and give it time to make sure that my disappointment was not impatience but…they ruined my skin here and I paid for it. I had three Laser Genesis treatments at the beginning of the summer season and was told that with time the improvements would show more and more but that six treatments would be even better. I went in for skin texture and loss of collagen causing my 32 year old skin to be crepey and lined and folks…my skin has gotten dramatically worse following these treatments. I wear sunscreen and moisturizer religiously, I scaled back on my retinol use, there is no reason for my skin to look this bad except for the fact that their lasers seemed to have caused damage to my skin. I could tell something was wrong after the first session and brought it up to them and they chalked it up to me just needing to be patient but I have had laser treatments at other businesses and saw positive results so… Not to mention a spot of skin on my cheek has become indented like it was scarred and it’s the same spot where I would feel a strong snapping pain unlike other areas on my face….honestly I’m really really sad about this. I paid hundreds in the hopes of looking better and now I don’t even want to go outside or be seen. EDIT since I can't figure out how to respond: Yeah, I'm sure I had a membership, it was in May/June and under my legal name (this google account is a pseudonym for privacy purposes)

I have been a member at Skin Bar (2x/month treatments) since summer of 2023 and it's been an absolute dream! Here are my highlights: 1. THE RESULTS: Gina is my esty and she is that girl. She is very detail oriented, she really knows my skin. I've also had a couple appointments with Leisa who is also amazing. I have seen a drastic improvement in breakouts, blackheads, skin texture, and hyperpigmentation. I leave every appointment with a beautiful glow. My husband has commented on how great my skin has become. I have minimal products at home, which I don't even use consistently so the changes are definitely due to my treatments. 2. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE: Customer service is ELITE. Every single person I have ever interacted with at Skin Bar, from the owner Matt, to the estheticians, to the front desk staff has been warm, kind, and professional. They truly go above and beyond. I once had a skin issue due to a product (nothing they recommended!) and Matt immediately got back to me, looked at photos, and offered a solution that same day to help me get back on track. Mind you, this was hours before the office closed for the holidays. That's just one example of many. Trust me, the skin bar team takes great care of their clients! 3. THE EXPERIENCE: This is such a foundational part of my self care. It's such a luxurious experience, so enjoyable, and I'm so grateful that the membership exists! When I walk into Skin Bar, I'm greeted by name and offered cucumber infused water while I wait for my appointment, which always starts on time. The treatments themselves are relaxing and just feel like being pampered. As I leave, scheduling my next appointment is seamless and easy. It's an amazing value for a glam experience. I can't recommend it enough!

I have been a member at Skin Bar since 2015. It has been a great journey and one of the best treats I have given to myself and my skin. The owners really know what they are doing and technicians are awesome. I mostly go to Gina - she is incredible. Not only has she helped me get rid of my post-partum melasma but with her help, my skin looks brighter, younger, smoother and healthier today than it did 8 years ago. They offer an incredible variety of facials, peels and lasers and even hair removal - and can probably fix any skin problem. Gina also helped me find an at-home skin routine that finally works for me. Love this place and would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to fix a particular issue or just get into a regular skincare routine.

I wish I could give Skin Bar more than 5 stars. I have been a member for more than two years and they have totally changed the texture and tone of my skin. I usually see Gina and she is amazing. I have rosacea so my skin is very sensitive and she always tailors the treatment perfectly. I have not had a flare up in over a year. I also did the microneedling for my wedding and my makeup artist commented on how much my skin texture had improved since my trial, only after one treatment. The office is beyond accommodating and always make an effort to work with my schedule. I can’t say enough, it is definitely worth trying!

I did two fraxal treatments with them and was thrilled with the results. terrific staff, both matt the owner who is closely involved with the business and lisa the anestitcian were super knowledgeable and skilled. No need to pay the premium of going to a doctor, they delivered 5* results.

The pandemic took a toll on me. I had a lot happen to me as a mom of 3 and having parents that now need my care. I was taking care of everyone but myself (seriously eating my emotions). I’m so glad I took the time to try Cryoskin. Once I decided to focus on myself again it allowed me to see results so quickly. Skin Bar has been great with taking before and after photos which have helped me stay motivated. Plus the measurements, I have lost so many inches! I have had spots that I’ve never been able to change on my abs and thighs. Being able to use fat freezing on my abs and thighs has helped me contour my body in a way no diet or exercise has ever done. This procedure is painless and I was able to go into work immediately after making it easy to add into my schedule. Honestly it was relaxing to just be able to lay back and let the machine do it’s magic. Skin Bars convenient Manhattan location has made it easy to pop in for my appointments. If you have been on the fence just do it! You won’t regret it.

NuVision Surgical & Medspa is great. A friend of mine and I bought packages for laser hair removal from Lifebooker and we have had two sessions and have the third appointment coming up in a little over a month. The practice is clean, the staff is nice, and most importantly, the past two sessions seem to have worked; I definitely have less hair, and what I do have is much thinner and finer. I look forward to going back there for the third remaining session and see what it looks like.

I've been to multiple places for laser hair removal. NuVision's lasers are by far the most effective in my experience. The results are seen rather quickly even in areas where the hair is a bit finer. The online scheduling system is relatively simple to use, but the appointments need to be scheduled far in advance to get your preferred technician and appointment time. I've only had one negative experience involving a promotional purchase they didn't honor, but the money was refunded to me. They're also fairly affordable and have decent specials.

I bought two laser hair removal packages off Lifebooker. It's my first time getting laser hair removal and my first experience with NuVision. The receptionist easily pulled my vouchers and applied them to my account. They have a great system of signing all the initial paperwork online before your first appointment, so you don't have to do it there. My initial impression of the place was great because it's really nicely decorated and clean. The dermatologist here did a great job making me feel comfortable, and the actual laser process was very quick. It was painful, but the machine blows cold air on the area while running, so that helps a lot. The first time hurts the most, and then it's easier every time after. I saw results even after the first treatment. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

Staff is so friendly and the services are amazing!

This place used to be great... they used to care about their customers, they used to have customer service, good deals and so many things that keep you coming back. I was a loyal customer for years and then staff turnover was so high, the good esthetician’s left. And the ones that remained tried to push product on you every chance they could get. The technology the spa uses (online booking tool) has also gone completely downhill and isn’t reliable or easy to use (it used to be) and when the desk staff recommended I email them instead, I didn’t want to remind them of the story that every time I email I need to follow up multiple times. And then eventually call anyway. Would recommend anywhere else.

I've been coming to Skin Bar for years and the service is always amazing. I have a membership where I can get two services done a month - I usually go with a laser & facial. I've never had a bad esthetician or experience. I go to Gina and highly recommend her - she is kind, calming, and most importantly knowledgeable about skin care & treatment. Everyone is very thoughtful when suggesting services and they are never pushy about selling you products. Recently, Skin Bar started providing a cryoskin service - it can be used a multitude of things - but I tried it specifically to treat the back of my legs for cellulite. After the first session I could definitely tell a difference, my skin was softer, smoother, and the appearance of cellulite started to fade. After 5 sessions I had the full results I was looking for. I've never been more confident in shorts & bathing suit and I highly recommend trying out cryoskin treatments. All in all, this is a great establishment!

The Skin Bar has been the most incredible find for me. Not only is the staff friendly and supportive, they really care about what they are doing. I have found them like a family that delights in having your skin GLOW. The membership also allows me to take 30 minutes a day 3-5 times a week for myself, which I would NEVER do, so I can enjoy the unlimited LED light sessions. I feel younger, look younger and wish I had known about them years ago. I highly recommend the 4D facials as well as the CRYO SLIM packages. I lost 5 inches of my waist in 5 sessions!

I LOVE Skin Bar! This place is phenomenal and so is their staff. The staff at Skin Bar is exceptional, they go out of their way to make you feel as comfortable and special as possible. The membership packages are decently priced, and their services are worth it! If you're considering any type of laser hair removal, I would highly recommend scheduling your first session ASAP. I have been going to NuVision since January 2013 and I have been going regularly every month. The first 6 months I went every two weeks. I love this facility. The staff members are friendly and professional. I always feel welcome here and it really is the best in Manhattan. I would encourage anyone to go and I have recommended some of my friends to go as well. Thank you NuVision for everything you have done to my skin! I feel so confident now.

I am quite pleased with NuVision as a laser treatment customer. Scheduling online is easy, although I recommend booking appointments a couple weeks in advance as the appointments fill up. Online booking also allows customers to accumulate points toward future services. NuVision offers frequent discounts and specials via email, which is another plus. Technicians have all been professional and efficient and I have not had to wait for more than a few minutes in the waiting area upon arrival for appointments. The office and treatment areas are clean and pleasant, with tea and water offered to those waiting.

I'm thrilled! I have been to Nu Vision a total of 3 times. The staff was wonderful and helpful. I came in interested in the laser facials. The staff was concerned about a medication that I am on and so we tested a small area to make sure that it is safe for me to use this modality. Both Dorothy and Sarah were very helpful in making sure that we could safely move forward. I finally had my first laser facial yesterday and I am so excited to say that I already see improvement in the appearance of my skin

Honestly, the best place ever. Have always had problem skin and since I’ve been going to Skin Bar (2-3 years now) my skin has cleared up. Am so grateful to Matt and his team (especially Gina!) for the consistent great service and skin products. Highly, highly recommend. (Love the laser genesis and custom skin facials the most!)

I wasn’t sure about Skinbar nyc initially bc the price seemed too good to be true. I had a membership between Feb and august, 2023, and got 2 laser genesis facials a month. If you’re on the fence about a membership I highly recommend this place! The services are really high quality and my skin has improved so much! I’m 34 and have had issues with redness, sun damage, and normal skin aging. People compliment my skin all the time now — that never happened b4 Skinbar nyc. My pores are smaller, my skin is bouncier, and I don’t have issues with redness anymore. I’ve had to cut this expense temporarily and was expecting the process of cancelling my membership to be awkward or difficult — not the case! The team was as gracious and charming as always — maybe bc they know I’ll be back asap 😜

I've been a customer of Skin Bar for almost twelve years now (!!!), and they are my go-to for facials in the city. At first I purchased packages of services, but after a couple of years they began offering memberships, and I've been a happy monthly Simply Skin member ever since. I have fairly sensitive skin so I book a custom facial every month, and my aesthetician Leisa is one of my favorite people. She's knowledgeable, listens whenever I have concerns about what my skin has been doing over the past month, offers tips on products and routines to try, and delivers a great, refreshing, and relaxing (post-extractions) facial every time. The staff and the founder Matt are always very friendly and helpful, and I am very glad my friend dragged me to a happy hour there so many moons ago. Highly recommend giving Skin Bar a try if you're looking for a facial or any of the many skincare services they offer, and even more highly recommend booking with Leisa if you can!

Best Spa experience ever!! From the most professional and friendliest staff, I felt so welcomed. I had a hydra facial done and left feeling so rejuvenated and refreshed. My face was so soft and I had such a beautiful glow. I can't wait to go back and to refer my family and friends.
