I found my place of solace in New York City. I was visiting for a week and needed to find a gym that would allow me to train and do my own personalized program. I came across Solace NYC and I am so happy I gave this place a try. I've never been to a facility like Solace before and I wish it existed it more places. The staff are so nice and inviting and the facility has everything you could want or need (the members are super friendly and motivating too). It's a giant open training space so you can literally do any type of workout you could possibly want to. I needed a place where I could do Olympic weightlifting and it was absolutely perfect. If you don't have your own workout program, they also provide a weekly program you can follow as well I can't recommend this place enough. It may not have all the bells and whistles of a place like equinox but that's what makes Solace NYC so special. The space is elevated but you can really feel the spirit that it's all about the training and becoming the best version of yourself. 100/10 would recommend.

Great Body PM class, motivating instructor, effective workout. Amenities & locker room were great, huge gym downstairs in the basement. Studio is a lot bigger than it looks from the street

Solid place for what it is. Everything you need if traveling and want to get a WOD in or some Olympic lifts. Easy to navigate and $35 to drop in. They offer week passes and monthly passes also. I hit a FitBod workout and had no issues. Purchased day pass day of and downloaded the app, got in with no problems. Highly recommend.

Quick and easy online registration process. I was in town and did a drop in. Everything is done digital with quick response time to get my passcode to enter. Facility was clean and perfect for powerlifters and cross fitters. Thank you for a great visit and workout. They also have a water filter machine as well.

The pizza is excellent, and they have reasonable prices. What I really liked was they offered hot honey, which turned good pizza into magnificent! Friendly staff and the place was very clean.

I am an independent trainer who does one on one, semi private and group work outs here. I also work out in the space and I have no complaints. Hayden, Brian and Kevin run a great space here!!

Really nice gym for CrossFit, powerlifting, and olympic lifting. Ton of bars, platforms, plates, collars, and racks. Gym was clean too. No one was there when we went on Sunday morning, so it's not clear how crowded they get during peak hours.

Two stars only because the facility is awesome - modern and New Yorker design… We tried to sign up a few times and they make it so complicated. We wanted a full subscription with private lessons. No one answers emails - we're told the girl answering emails is pregnant now ; very PRO I would say. In a city with so many competitors - they don't seem to need too many customers. Thank you for your business

Dropped in for a workout here while in NYC. Change room and showers are top notch and we’re the nicest I’ve seen in any box. The box is small but it’s Manhattan so I’d say it was actually not too bad at all. Programming was great and the coach was welcoming and they pushed pretty hard. If you don’t have CF experience I’d go elsewhere but if you do, go and enjoy, I did and loved it.

It’s okay, although people are not nice. But I guess that’s the vibe. Good equipment though

One of the best gyms I’ve never NY easily. 24/7 access even over the holiday period and had everything a functional athlete would require.

Not a member, but the hotel I was staying at across the street was offering access. Staff was friendly, offered me a tour which I always appreciate. Bathroom was something else! Fully equipped with anything you would need, including towels. I have a bad right foot, so standing for long periods of time is not my thing, but they just so happened to have cute lil stools to sit on by the mirrors and hair tools. The gym itself was fantastic and it wasn't crowded at all; everyone had ample space and room. Big fan.

Got my personal training course from Hayden. He's an experienced coach who also worked in healthcare industry (so he know lots of medical stuff). Also he's not that kind of salesmen coach who only think about selling more courses, actually he care about you learning something and make improvements.

Solace New York is an amazing gym and the community is wonderful. What I love most is that I can get in, warm up, get the job down, stretch, see some good friends and head home. CrossFit and Gym style atmosphere.

Owner cares about the community and has been flexible and responsive to all my inquiries and requests. The gym is filled with elite athletes and fitness enthusiasts. Whether you're new or want to elevate your game to the next level, I would recommend Solace hands down for anyone who wants to improve their lifestyle.

New York's hottest gym is Solace. They have everything. A turf! Double sided Squat racks! The thinnest pull up bars for the daintiest hands! In all honesty, this is my favorite spot to lift in NYC. The vibe is right. It's grungy enough to feel like people are here to do the work but stylish enough to satisfy the needs of anybody who needs their fitness with a side of exclusivity. I love it!

Super convenient gym for powerlifting/ crossfit, with the option for short term memberships for people who are only visiting NYC.

The facilities are all good there. But I have met the worst personal trainer ever here. Definitely not gonna go there again.

I trained at Solace for 8 months before moving out of NYC last week. To put it simply, I've gotten into the best shape of my life over that time. The facility is top-notch, the coaches are tremendous, and the programming is always varied and challenging. The membership base has a good mix from beginners all the way to elite competitors, and everyone is very friendly. Overall great experience!

Now, more of a boutique fitness club CF oriented, just the experience working out in Manhattan so comfortable, clean, cosy, well equipped is exciting!

Honestly Solace is a very nice gym with a great lifting area and equipment you need for a great workout. Its very unfortunate that I have had multiple problems with a staff member “Bryan” who always personally discriminated against me. I never did anything to him but for some reason every time I have went, he has given me an attitude or stopped me in the middle of my workout to complain about something I did. And then the last straw for me was as I was recording a workout video of myself, he stopped me in the middle of my set and asked me if I booked my session to be there. My boyfriend has always paid for me to be there and yet he was shaking his head at me and told me Im not allowed to be there nor have videos taken at the gym without “prior authorization”. I was not even getting the gym name/logo in my video but I have given this gym multiple chances to show equal etiquette to their guests or professionalism in their employees and “Bryan” has made me feel uncomfortable, discriminated against, sad and confused multiple times. I will not be back here despite every time I have gone, was paid for.

Used the gym while on a work trip and staying nearby. The one week pass was simple and easy 24/7 access with keypad entry. Chill, focused patrons getting their workouts done in the late evenings.
