    A couple of months ago I started working out with this private trainer in NYC named Maik Wiedenbach, and I must say that I am very impressed with his service. Not only is he a professional, but also he has taught me many new things about working out. What's amazing about Maik is how knowledgeable and experienced he is around health and fitness. He has been so professional since day one, and I've learned so much from him. I'd recommend his services to anyone who's looking to get more out of their workouts and in need of personal training in New York.

    Signed up for training with Maik, Hasan and his team recently and am having a wonderful experience. You can tell immediately they truly care about their clients - they’re incredibly friendly and helpful when it comes to setting out a training plan and correcting technique. Recommend very highly. Best strength/fitness experience I’ve encountered in New York by a long shot.

    I have been training with Maik Wiedenbach for some time now and his excellent expertise have provided me with a healthy lifestyle overall. I got to try various types of equipment and he introduced me to some amazing workout. He is one of the best fitness trainer in NYC. Not only did Maik keep me safe from injuring myself, but was also an amazing spiritual and emotional support in my life. He has provided me with all the motivations I needed to reach all my goals, making him my fitness trainer has been one of my best decisions since I have moved to New York.

    I met Maik after working out with another coach for 6 months+ and staying pretty much stagnant. Daily workouts, constantly chasing higher weights, but no progress. That was me when I met Maik through a recommendation from a close friend. I did an initial workout with Maik and told him about my issue of staying flat and not seeing any gains. Within just 30 days Maik has identified the nature of the issue in both my diet and types of exercise that I was doing and has developed a strategy, goals and objectives. I started seeing progress in just a couple of weeks. Here I am slightly more than a month into working with Maik and seeing major changes and transformations of my body. If you’re looking for a strategic approach to how you look and feel and not just another meathead, come to Maik and he will handhold you to the destination where you’re trying to get.     Honestly can’t recommend this place more. If you’re serious about getting where you need to be, this is the place to go. Super knowledgeable, very attentive, just overall good people. They meet you where you’re at in your fitness journey. No prior gym experience required. Maik, Greg, Corey, Jay are just a handful of the amazing people you’ll interact with when you come to the 57th and Lex gym.

    Maik Wiedenbach is the best personal trainer in New York. His gym is equipped with the best machines and instruments, and his trainers are committed to their work. The trainers take a lot of pain to understand the needs of the clients and recommend exercises accordingly. What I like about Maik and his team is that they know so much about fitness and chalk out the best fitness training sessions for their clients. I am extremely happy with the results that I have achieved in my two months of training and would recommend this gym to anyone hoping to find a personal trainer who is dedicated and committed to fitness and bodybuilding.

    Maik Wiedenbach is a great personal trainer in New York. He not only understood my problem but also motivated me to work on my body by suggesting specific exercises and fitness routine. My two months of personal training in NYC have started yielding results and I am more confident and happy than before. I intend to continue to train with him and incorporate the lifestyle and eating changes that he recommended.     I found Mike and his training studio through the world of social media. First following him on TikTok I found his instructional videos useful when training on my own. To my surprise his studio was in NYC and popped in to meet him in person. I have been training with Mike for 3 months and I love his approach to training and fitness. The studio is meticulously clean and the equipment is what every weight training enthusiast will love. Thanks again MW!

    If you're ready to take a step forward toward whatever gym goals you have - even if and especially when you're not quite sure what those are - Maik and every trainer who works with him will meet you right there and help you realize your potential to achieve what you want. When I started going about 2.5 years ago, I brought with me an assortment of good and bad habits, accurate and inaccurate information, and a very vague goal of just wanting to get in better shape. Right off the bat, Maik provides you with a wealth of good information about training, diet and nutrition, and habits and practices. After an assessment of where you are and where you want to go, he'll set you up with an appropriate workout program and a trainer who will help guide you on your way. Each trainer is highly knowledgeable, personable, and dedicated to helping you get moving towards your goals and making their gym the best, most supportive, and results-oriented place it can be. The gym has the best equipment, much of it made just for Maik's gym, plenty of space to work in, and a really fun, supportive, vibe. They'll match your energy, so if you're really going in there to push yourself hard, they're ready. And if you're just learning and gaining confidence, they're ready for you, too. I can testify to the results that are possible - even probable if you stick to a plan. I objectively look better, feel better and am healthier. I leaned information, techniques, and habits that will last me a lifetime. Highest recommendation from me!! Worth every penny!!

    I have always been interested in bodybuilding. However, no fitness trainer in NYC could satisfy me with personal training services. One day, I found Maik Wiedenbach on Google. I read about his experience and achievements in bodybuilding and personal training. Interested, I joined his gym. And voilà! I was impressed with the top-class equipment and individualized workout plan. All my bodybuilding requirements were met and I was one of the several happy clients of Maik. Therefore, undoubtedly, he is the best fitness instructor in New York. I gladly recommend his gym to anyone who wishes to build a great body.

    I was hesitant to go to a gym for years, but after working with Alex (and Maik!), I'm really glad I made the decision to join this gym. It's clean, centrally-located, and has some of the most attentive trainers in town. These guys know how to work with your goals and your busy schedule.

    I began training with Maik & Hillel a few months ago in May and I've seen tremendous results in that time. I've put on several pounds of muscle and I feel stronger and healthier throughout my days and nights. I'm also learning more about the right way to workout and build muscle. Maik really knows his stuff and he will guide you in a way that helps you achieve your desired goals. I'm much much stronger than I was in May :) The custom equipment is also top notch :) And all of the trainers in his employ are very cool and friendly. I highly recommend Maik Wiedenbach Personal Training!

    This personal training gym is amazing. Maik Wiedenbach is great at figuring out strengths and weaknesses and creates a plan to help you achieve your goals based off that. He also mixes in a little bit of weights with the body work so that you can get a good full body workout. Throughout the workout he keeps you engaged in the process, and he trains you to achieve results. Overall, really good experience. If you're looking for a trainer that's committed to your fitness goals and friendly this is the best personal training gym in New York to go to!

    Finding a personal trainer in New York is tough. I have been training with Maik Wiedenbach for some time now and he is one of the most experienced trainers with some of the coolest body building equipment. He also ensures that my posture and training is proper and I am extremely happy with the service provided to me. He puts me through challenges and a whole range of different exercises for my physical health. He not only kept challenging me but also raised my limits. If you are looking to find a personal trainer, I would highly recommend you to go to him.

    I was looking for a trainer in NYC who will put my health first while pushing my limits to get me to a place where I will feel happy with my body in a safe way. Beside the fact he has great reviews from his customers I found out he is an NYU professor, Olympian, two-time World Cup and Olympic-level swimmer. I decided to give him a chance and I am very happy I did. He is very professional, work out a diet and training base on your goals and your body type.The gym has the most well equipped machines I totally adore to work on. He has a team of trainers to work with who are excellent, I have the honor to work with one of them time to time and it just make the whole experience more exciting. I love the fact the private gym offer free bottle of water and even some small good protein bar/snack for his customers. It shows how much he cares about his customers and wanna make sure they 100% taking care of and satisfy. it has been a month I started and I can see already some results and can feel my body getting stronger and stronger by the week. I am more motivated than ever and I owe this to Maik and his team. This is a great investment I will never regret. If you are serious about getting healthy and in a better shape, this is the place to be.

    A few months ago, I started researching Personal Trainers in New York and my search luckily lead me to reach out to Maik (who was highly recommended). I’ve been going to they gym for years, but have never truly learned about strength training and was interested in advancing my health and fitness. Since starting training with Maik and team, I have truly enjoyed (and been so impressed by) the entire experience! The gym is top notch with excellent equipment and a really welcoming environment. Maik and Jay (who I have worked with during many of my sessions), are extremely knowledgeable, encouraging, terrific at explaining the technique and science behind strength training and offering the best advice to achieve your goals.     I have been working in the fitness industry for decades already but this gym, is so far, the best i have ever seen in terms of equipment. They keep their equipment up to date and very well arranged and very clean as well. I am very impressed. I have gained visible results in muscle mass having Maik as my trainer.. He knows his stuff. His technique and approach to exercise programming is out if the box but always based on science and in accordance to his clients' needs thus results are obvious without the injury, muscle imbalance, tightness or any of that sort. He is the best for me. Humble guy.

    My search for a customized fitness program ended when I approached Maik Wiedenbach, the best personal trainer in NYC.  He not only checked about my lifestyle, eating habits, occupation and medical history but also enquired about my fitness goals before designing a personal training program keeping in mind by physique. What I really liked about his personal training program in NYC was that instead of putting me directly into a rigorous training he told me to start slow and gradually increase the intensity. I would certainty recommend him to all those looking for a good personal trainer in New York.

    Gym itself is very high quality and always clean and roomy. Trainers are very knowledgeable and patient - will take time to answer all your questions both within session times and if you’re working out on your own. They’re all supportive, and their plans are customizable and targeted towards goals. All around great experience.

    Coach Greg is head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to understanding the individual needs of his client and providing deep and wide expertise across programming, training modalities, and nutrition. I have worked with dozens of personal trainers in my life and he is the first one who actively listened to my training history and goals and prepared a tailored and effective program that challenged me without making me feel overwhelmed.     Training with Maik, Greg (who I've worked closely with) and the team is the highlight of my everyday. The team is professional, personable, and knowledgeable - they're very attentive of your goals and progress. The equipment is in excellent condition and are routinely cleaned.     Maik and his team have nailed it – they know fitness, and they know health. They take a holistic approach, and are experts in the field of not only physical strength, but of wellness. Sound mind and body – living purposefully and living well. What more, they are beautiful people.     I went to this gym for the first time and really enjoyed working out. They have the best personal trainers in NYC. Firstly, Maik is a very calm and friendly person, and he totally understands what you want, your fears about your body, and then creates a personal training program based on that.     Maik is the real deal. Highly professional. His focus on technique and form has helped correct a lot of mistakes I didn't know I was making. And after only 6 weeks I'm beginning to see the difference. He makes himself available for questions when out of the gym. And speaking of the gym, his equipment and machines are fantastic. They're all just a little different enough than average but those small differences always leave me feeling it more the next day.

    Maik, his team, and this gym, are one of New York's great treasures. Maik and his team are all incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to share what they know to help you be better. Maik's passion for sharing his fitness knowledge shines through in every interaction and that makes it a joy to come in for a workout. If you're getting a session from Maik, he's engaged and thoughtful in how he walks you through the movements. If you're working out on your own, he's still keeping a watchful eye across the gym and it's not uncommon for him to come over and make suggestions to improve your form or to help work around an injury you mentioned days ago. This goes for the rest of the team here as well - Shane, Jay, Greg, and the rest of the group are all top notch instructors in their own right, and they do a great job looking out for everyone in the gym. You really get the sense that they're doing everything they can to help you succeed. On top of all that, the gym is spotless and the equipment is very high quality.     Maik Wiedrbach is the man, I can’t say enough about his workout routines and how I went from a 2 dimensional physique to a 3 dimensional physique in from his workouts. I decided to log my data, as well to showcase my gains, on my personal website that is in beta at joekohlerfitness.netlify.app Seriously you cannot go wrong by training from this man, I read Arnold’s encyclopedia, and while it is a great read, I believe Maik is the most knowledgeable guy around (on YouTube specifically) for building a persons physique, bar none.     Maik is arguably the best personal trainer in NYC and the absolute best trainer I have ever had! He helped me with my postpartum transition back to my fittest self through weekly in-person training sessions that left me feeling like I had actually worked my muscles and not just moved weights around. As a renowned competitive bodybuilder and an Olympian, he knows exactly what it takes to achieve the results his clients desire. His training regimens as well as tailored diets come from a deep scientific understanding of nutrition and metabolism and are the opposite of the pseudoscientific garbage and fads that are floating around on social media. Did I mention that he is also an engaging conversationalist and I hardly noticed how the hour flew by when we were working out together? The other trainers in the gym are excellent too, such as Bogi/Bogdan, Jay, Alex, etc. This will be the best investment you will make.

    What an amazing gym! The kindest and most helpful trainers there. The culture and gym environment is so welcoming! The equipment is the best you’ll find anywhere. If you’re looking for personal training you won’t find more knowledgeable trainers and better environment that here!
