🫤 Expensive, crowded and super dull skates. Fun outdoor activity but not very well kept. The staff wasn’t very nice, it was a weird system how they move the people around ensuring no one is getting in for free but not designed efficiently. Costs more to put your bags out and there is no separate area... People often mention skating, rink, shops, skates, skate, beautiful, crowded, staff, free, chocolate,

Expensive, crowded and super dull skates. Fun outdoor activity but not very well kept. The staff wasn’t very nice, it was a weird system how they move the people around ensuring no one is getting in for free but not designed efficiently. Costs more to put your bags out and there is no separate area for those who don’t know how to skate and those who do. Which didn’t seem the safest they do have some teenage staff that skate around but I’m not sure how helpful that is. Fun but needs improvement.

Lovely local market that sells artwork and food. It has a free skating rink that requires booking for entry. No headphones, phone, camera, or backpack are allowed on the ice. All items must be put away before hitting the ice floor. Quite a nice oasis in the middle of the busiest cities in the world.

Bryant Park has been transformed into a Winter Village. With a beautiful tree, an ice rink & stalls of every description. Ranging from food and drink to Christmas decorations to doggy items including coasters, socks, candles, jewellery. You can also hire the igloos for a cost. We had a hot chocolate, made with actual melted chocolate and marshmallows, best ever... It does get very busy, but definitely worth a visit.

Best to skate first thing in the morning when it opens at 8 AM before the other cheapskate kids come. (I know no admission fees attract skaters, so it’s no surprise it gets crowded and the ice quickly gets chewed up by amateurs. 😖) It may be tough to get to Midtown so early, but it is worth it on an outdoor clean sheet of glass! And the views are breathtaking. Love the passersby gazing at the skaters, thinking they should be out there or wishing they could glide along with us.

I recently visited the Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park and was thoroughly impressed by the festive atmosphere and the variety of activities available. The ice skating rink is beautiful, and the surrounding holiday shops offer a delightful mix of goods, from unique handmade crafts to delicious treats. The overall ambiance of the village is magical, truly capturing the spirit of the season. However, a word of caution to future visitors: certain popular food stands can have quite long waiting times. I found myself in a lengthy queue at one of the Swiss sandwich stands, but I must say, the delicious, rich taste was worth the wait. It's a small price to pay for the quality and experience.

Great skates, rink not too crowded, plenty of nice little kiosks selling art abd artifacts. however, the bag check-in is a racket. We paid for two bags but they didn't let us put our shoes in a separate bag. All those who didn't pay got bags for their shoes

I didn't skate here, but I visited. It looked fun. People were skating as early as 8am and as late as 9pm. They have so many little shops a large space to sit in with plenty of tables and chairs.

Great outdoor holiday village of ice rink and stores to get tons of crafty merchandise and food. If you plan to ice skate, probably buy your tickets in advance so you are guaranteed a spot.

A must-do during the Holidays in NYC. A great spot for pictures and some good snacks!!! You can ica skate, get a hot chocolate or a drink. Times Square is a 15 min walk away. The shops are cute but a bit overpriced and there is a limited selection of products.

Wonderful experience. Very easy process of getting tickets in advance online. Check in, bag, and shoe storage was convenient. Plenty of staff on hand on and off the ice to make sure things were running safely and smoothly and to help people as needed. Enjoyed skating. Many people brought their own skates and many rental skates available as well. A variety of different sized “pushers” were available for those who needed help staying upright. So many types of vendors in the village to shop from for food, drink, amenities, and gifts. This a recommended stop when in Manhattan.

Overall it's a decent skating rink. It can get crowded so I definitely recommend coming earlier in the morning or on weekdays. They clear the ice every hour or so I think so you get fresh smooth ice every session. There are lots of workers on the ice ensuring your safety, they're helpful. The line to get in or renting skates was not too long. And best of all, it's free! (If you own your skates, and have a lock).

Too crowded for actual skating. Taking pictures on the rink is prohibited. Unprofessional and somewhat rude staff. I mean we paid $45 each and you don't have to keep yelling at the customers, let alone being kind. The staff are some teenagers with yellow jackets skating rapidly on their own - are they really paid for what they're doing? No value for money. Wouldn't recommend skating; visit the park only.

A very fun and beautiful place during the winter for Ice skating. It's free entrance but don't expect an free help for skating if you're a beginner. You should pay for that 30$ I think. There are many shops with original things you would not imagine. All IS very beautiful and if you're cold , you Can buy some hot chocolate. People who don't want to be on the ICE, can simply take a seat around and take a cup of cofee, watching the beauty of the place. The village is in the middle of a group of buildings and it's very interesting to take pictures the night ! Of course, it is possible to visit that village only in winter.

Made some core memories ice skating in the rink on Christmas Day 2022 <3 Highly Recommended! Plus you only pay for gear rental. It's much cheaper than other rinks in the city.

One of my favorite holiday markets in the city browse through in December. Even with the amount of shops and decorations scaled down this year, it still is a wonderful NYC Christmas tradition

I enjoyed a date here but it got really packed and the freshly prepared rink turned way too choppy within the hour. They should definitely limit the amount of skaters per hour. I did appreciate being able to bring my own skates and only pay $5 for a small locker. The food options and quality is too typical of American fast food, which was quite a letdown. The Würstel didn't look appetizing and was served in a hotdog bun. 😥 I guess it's nice to walk around to take in the views, the colors and the art.

We went on the Saturday after Thanksgiving... so it was insanely busy. Hard to walk around. Inside the shops though it was ok. Lots of amazing gift ideas. Food stands galore but lines very long in general. Got a shorter line at a place in the back entrance of the lodge. Overall it's an amazing place to experience for the holidays. Must get the frickle spear at pickle me pete!!

Been coming here for years. Really cute I've stop shop for local Christmas goods. I really like the opportunity for small businesses to showcase their goods. It can get really crowded at times so you just have to know when to go. There's some great (not so) hidden gem eateries to check out. Would recommend getting a group together on an empty stomach as it does get pricey. I've also done ice skating in the past, they used to do Groupons on them. It's a fun city activity during the holidays.

Not enough seats considering there's lots of food places so you tend to have to lurk and wait for people to leave plus the food is very over priced. Paid $16 for a caprese wrap which was tiny!!! The skating rink looks cute and there's lots of choice for food but wouldn't go back.

Simply beautiful! There was a winter market in Bryant Park. Diverse collection across artwork, perfume, chocolates, apparel and so many things. Although prices were on higher side! But very well organized. It also has a lot of food stalls from different countries. Should definitely try out cuisines from different places

An unexpected delight! We sat in the warm Fall sun in front of the giant, elegantly decorated tree while watching ice skaters navigate the temporary rink. Kiddos, older adulst and young couples enjoyed a beautiful, fun, family-friendly day out! It was peaceful and packed with chill, friendly faces. A variety of yummy eats and beverages as well as vendor booths brought the festival mood to fruition. Truly happy to have stumbled upon this outfoor-fun gem!

Always a fun visit during Nov/Dec. Many booths line the park with beautiful items made by many craft artists. Many food booths with a variety of choices. Seating is available in areas. Bathroom facilities on site. There’s an ice skating ring there too. We bought beautiful hand crafted earrings, and soothing oils. Glass art, clothing, jewelry, many one of a kind. Nice day to spend some time. Don’t miss it if your in Manhattan.

A holiday market, ice skating rink, food stands, bar and restaurant. However when I stopped by after a show on 11/16 everything was either closed or getting ready to close. The Zamboni was resurfacing the ice. So I just walked through and window shopped. However I have been there in the past when it was opened and it was pretty cool they had a lot of holiday items as well as other vendors selling their wares. So if you are looking for something different to do or buy stop by and take a look for yourself. You might enjoy it!

Christmassy New York is making NYC a lot different! I visited the Winter Village in Byrant Park which had ice rink, christmas market and a lot of food and drink stalls. I ordered this combo corn dogs from Lazy Dog! They have mozzarella cheese and sausage inside which double the fun and yum! Definitely a good vibe place for celebrating Xmas!

First stop was Wonderen Stroopwafels for delicious dutch staples I tried a mix of s’mores, caramel and chocolate toppings! It was so delicious!! Then next I tried the apple cider and apple cider donuts from the orchard. Can’t wait to explore of this Christmas market!

The most fantastic spot during the holidays The music playing, folks ice skating and hot chocolate make you feel all cozy! The shops are great with unique gifts for family and friends. A must stop during the holiday season.

Terrible experience. Went there with my kids. We had to get off the ice after 30 minutes of trying to stay standing in the ice. The problem were the skates, they havent been sharpened or grooved. I tried several pairs. Nothing. (By the way, I played junior B hockey just to be clear that I know this stuff). Staff told us all the skates were the same. At the end, my two kids got injured! Very sad!

I think this was my favourite place on my trip. There was a bit of everything here, and just enough room for everyone! There was lots to look at, like the ice skating, lots of little pod-type shops selling all kinds of things, plenty of places to eat and drink. I sit at home now (in the UK) and wish I could just take a walk up the road to this place. I loved it.

Beautifully set. Food and drinks a bit overpriced, as one would expect. The skate rink is very nice too, but they set the ice every 20 minutes and it appears that the machine is not wearing properly, so they need a good 30 minutes for it. Kinda spoils the fun. Still, I'd def recommend a visit.

It’s always been a tradition to visit the shops here. This year 2020 is so different though.. lesser people and lesser shops.. 😢

The best ice rink in New York City. They follow all the safety protocols (also covid-related) and staff is very friendly. I went a few ice rinks in NYC and this is my favorite. If you have your own skates you can skate for free (just need to book entrance in advance). My favorite place to be in the winter !
