Ever since I saw my friend who took a picture against this HOPE sculpture, I wanted to visit too. I visited this place on the Thanksgiving day, even though the day was really chilly and windy but I was able to make it and took a picture against this iconic sculpture. Sad that people were using the side of this sculpture to place food items though it was prohibited. Nonetheless, I was able to take a good photo and enjoyed my time. If you are in New York, don't forget to visit. #letsguide #newyork

it's a word, a piece of art, and a constant tourist/Instagram trap. open 24/7 365 in midtown Manhattan. "HOPE." know it, be it, & have it. that is all.

This place is a classic Instagram-worthy 🤳 spot in NYC! 🗽 Definitely stop by if you're walking around the city 🏙️ for a quick photoshoot. 📸 I wish the city had more spots like this!

If you happen to be nearby, OK. The Love Sculpture was better. Unfortunately it is no longer on 55th Street/6th Ave. There is a small version on the high line.

Always loved to visit since I came over in Sep 2021 for the first time. This place has a beautiful vibe and when you see couples around cheering each other and taking photographs standing besides this HOPE, I use to pray for them :)

Great statue to take a picture of . Not as iconic as the LOVE statue so there's not as many people there for photographs. Great for a photo, but I wouldn't make a special trip. Just a nice spot if you're in the area.

I believe that there are only hope and love sculptures in NYC, not very far from each other either. The immediate area has two of the better food carts: mexican and halal guys. The 7th ave subway station is also right there.

If you've got a pic of the LOVE you need this one too. On a busy corner- sometimes it's easier than others to get a picture without unwanted photobombers. There's many people rushing by to get somewhere and then there's the other tourists who jump in on your pic. The Halal Guys are right there and the Late Show theater is down the street.

A Pokémon Go gym! Aside from being a nice instagramable place, you can also play Pokémon Go in this area and also follow routes. Of course the nearby coffee shops and stores are a plus!

The Hope sculpture in New York is a striking work of public art located in the Plaza of the Citigroup Center at 153 E. 53rdStreet in Manhattan. Created by the artist Robert Indiana, the sculpture is composed of the word "HOPE" with the "O" tilted on its side. The letters are painted blue and green with a red and white tilde symbol above the "Street, Manhattan. The sculpture, created by artist Robert Indiana in 1971, consists of the word "HOPE" in bright red, capital letters, set atop the letters "OPE" in blue and green. The sculpture has become an iconic symbol of hope and optimism, and it has served as a source of inspiration for New Yorkers and visitors from around the world. It stands at 13 feet high and weighs almost a ton. It is made of painted aluminum and has been placed in several locations around the world, including outside the Obama White House in 2008. The Hope sculpture has become an important landmark in New York City, and it is often visited by tourists and locals alike. It serves as a reminder of the resilience and hope that characterizes the city and its people.

I visited NYC after dealing with Chemoterapie due a Cancer. The Hope sculpture from Robert Indiana in Midtown Manhattan, NYC strike me As you may know, Cancer has no Cure, only - if the patience is lucky - you get a Remission period....
