I've
been
going
here
for
decades,
it
didn't
chage
too
much,
yet
the
signs
of
evolvment
are
undoubtly
seen
there.
Little
by
little
the
wooden
planks
are
being
replaced
by
plastic
and
some
parts
are
replaced
with
concrete.
The
Brighton
Beach
boardwalk
is
a
popular
tourist
destination
in
Brooklyn.
It
is
a
2.7-mile-long
boardwalk
along
the
southern
shore
of
the
Coney
Island
peninsula,
facing
the
Atlantic
Ocean.
Opened
in
1923,
the
boardwalk
runs
between
West
37th
Street
at
the
edge
of
the
Sea
Gate
neighborhood
to
the
west
and
Brighton
15th
Street
in
Brighton
Beach
to
the
east.
Personally
I
enjoy
the
runs
there,
the
boardwalk
or
packed
sand
by
the
waterline.
Some
runners
there
don't
change
for
decades.
There
are
places
to
do
pull
ups,
restrooms,
places
to
get
food
and
drinks,
benches
to
rest
and
dedicated
lines
for
bikes,
but
that
is
limited
to
early
mornings
only,
otherwise
it
is
against
the
rules.
