👍👍 This my kids favorite local water park and playground. You can have a cookout, go to the beach, the kids can play in the sprinklers and enjoy the playground all at once. People often mention kids, playground, park, water, beach, sprinklers, nice, area, great, play,

Great place to go. It has nice barbecue area and clean restrooms as well. The boardwalk is very nice and ocean looks great.

If you have small kids, don’t even think of going to other beaches at Far Rockaway but here. I’ve been taking my kids here every summer since 2018 and I’ve always found a parking spot for free right next to the playground. We ONLY go on weekday mornings though. A nice kids playground with fun sprinklers, a sand area for sensory experience although I bet the slides are too hot to use during the summer. My kid doesn’t even bother to play on the slide since she goes straight for the sprinklers. The parking spot is right next to the playground and the restrooms, and a very short walk to the boardwalk. Make sure to bring snacks and drinks with you since there are no nearby stores along the Boardwalk. Not a lot of shady people around here from my experience, mostly families.

Fun playground with large splash pad. Unfortunately, the water play area is starting to get really run down and in need of some repairs. It gets very flooded in the sand pit and can be dangerous for little kids. There is seating with shade all around and just a few steps from the beach. Restroom is also just across the street by the field area.

Great playground, but too bad over half of the water features were no longer spraying any water. Hope they can do a little maintenance to get it back in full working order. The location makes it easy to also spend some time at the beach.

Take a look at these waves! Rockaway always has the best waves! I Remember coming here as a child, we'd come crabbing with my moms. So much fun, so many great memories... and that's all I have to say about that. 😁

I came today for the first time in a year so that my child can play in the water park and it would be okay except for one thing. There's no water. no water comes out of any toy ...

Wonderful unique playground with splash park. Enjoyable for all. Plenty of benches. Clean bathrooms. Bring a cooler with drinks and snacks. Right by the beach. Plenty of parking on a weekday morning.

Sometimes some people here curse loudly, illegally smoke and bring pets to playground area. Very nice playground and sprinkler area. Sprinklers automatically go on when temperature is above 80 degrees. This park is adjacent to the boardwalk and free beach.

Rebuilt after our storm, the boardwalk has both a bike path and walk path. Giving off that Miami feel. Still free to park.

Drove in all the way from Brooklyn as we have enjoyed this park in the past. Unfortunately the sprinklers are NOT ON FOR THE SEASON because it was causing flooding to nearby homes. The slides were extrémale got to slide down and the kids were just not happy we ended up leaving to a different park. If you are going there to get some water refresher, find a different location!

Nice playground for kids during the warmer months. Plus it has sprinklers

Gorgeous. Clean sand, responsible lifeguards, awesome waves that are perfect for older kids. However if you're looking for very large and wild waves, I would recommend the beaches further down, like the beach 50s. The beach was a little crowded, but you can find a place.

It has been newly built since 2017 and still is in great condition. Nice features with closeness to the beach make it a nice park

Nice area park. Took my Summer Students there for an outing. They enjoyed it. Wish the sprinklers had worked that day, though.

I love this park..my kids love it but I stopped going for awhile because this little Jewish girl came up to my son and his friend and called them the N word..that really upset me. But they have a swing set, they have a water park and two playgrounds for different age groups. Sometimes kids being kids are not nice..parents get upset because someone came to them saying something about their child about their child etc drama. It’s close to the boardwalk and beach for the summer months spring, summer, and fall there is a bee problem. Also if you have tree allergies..this park might bother you because it’s surrounded by trees

It is a nice park with water guns and sprinklers. I wish all the water guns and sprinklers work but most of them did worked. The water stream near the sand should be altered a little but still a nice concept. There was a good amount of slides and swings.

A great place to take the kids and cool off...especially during a heatwave!

Nice enclosed children's playground with sprinklers in the summer. Perfect for young children and toddlers. There is also a sort of obstacle course right next to the park with a ropes course. Prefect for older children. The two options makes this park perfect for the whole family!

Nice open playground with sprinkles on. After the beach you can rinse yourself off. Parking is limited but available during weekday visit. Beach and playground is free.
