I lived nearby this park for over 10 years, and it's the best park in Staten Island IMO. It's worth the drive to come here from the north shore and even from Brooklyn or central New Jersey. The park has something for just about everyone. There are bbq pits along with a playground, a basketball court, tennis courts, a dog park, and a beach. With that being said, the highlight of the park is its miles of trails. They're great for trail running or a relaxing walk. Wolfe's Pond also has outdoor workout equipment- a pullup bar, dip bars, and so on- so you can work out here outside. There's also a new changing area. The park can get crowded during the summer / warmer weather on the weekends, but it's big enough where it doesn't feel too congested.

Great place to BBQ, picnic or just enjoy with family and friends. It would be nice to add EV chargers in an area like this. The one available is only accessible for staff.

Huge multi - activity park that sits a few miles from the Jersey state line. Bbq/ Picnic area …✅ Roller hockey rink and basketball courts ✅ access area to beachfront ✅Playgrounds for children ✅. This park has it all , plenty of parking and a great place to watch fireworks display. Also on site is a memorial for SI Vets who fought in the Battle of the Bulge

This review is for trails of Wolfe’s pond park. I have parked at beach parking lot, and hiked both lower (below Hylan Blvd) and upper sections of the park. Most picturesque are trails around the pond and along the ocean beach. Upper section of the park is much more secluded and if you prefer solitary hike, cross the boulevard at intersection with Holten Ave (trail entrance is within few dozen feet).

The park has many different dimensions to it. This past time I was on a hiking trip. The paths were still wet from the winter and spring rains but the scenery was beautiful. The pond could really do with an alligator or crocodile but this is New York.

Wolf's Pond is a great and well-maintained park, with large lawn, gorgeous ocean views, a pond, picnic areas, beach, restrooms, medical facility, and plenty of parking. If you come at a time when there are not too many visitors, there's a good chance you'll run in some wildlife, big and small. I would recommend to take your camera for some scenic photos and a nice picnic blanket and a wicker full of munchies (and maybe a kite, as there's plenty of continuous wind to launch one). I'd say it's one of the more well-kept and equipped public parks I've seen across the NYC area.

Cool little spot right on the beach . Limited parking. There is a small dog park located within . Nice place to collect rocks and I found some cool shells! Unfortunately , the car stunk the entire way home carrying said rocks/shells. The beach itself is saturated with trash and littered with dead fish everywhere!!! Wasn’t too busy on a Saturday . Most people wearing masks & social distancing .

LOVE this place for picnicking, BBQing, fishing, hiking, and the beach. There’s always enough parking. The tables go really quickly on the weekends, so get here early. The water has a red soil deposit in it, so you’ll need to wash off after getting out; don’t wear your white/favorite swimwear. Hiking is easy and kid-friendly. Don’t forget your sunscreen and bug repellent!

This park is a true hidden gem for those who crave solitude and serenity. During my visit, I encountered almost no people, making it feel like I had the entire place to myself. The tranquility was surreal; I could sit by the water and listen to the water ripple without any distractions. It’s an excellent spot for contemplation, meditation, or simply enjoying the stillness of nature. Highly recommended for anyone looking to escape the noise of city life. Just be aware to be there at weekends,a lot of people prefer it for bbq. Best time to visit any weekdays around 5-7 o’clock.

It is my favorite place because it has everything you need to rewind your mind and body. It has a playground for kids, pleasant trails for long walks, beach to tan and to swim, tennis court, hockey court, basketball cort, dog run, barbecue area, and lake with many birds to watch. You choose what you are in the mood for, that is all. Great and safe place for kids to play as well.

I was staying on Staten Island and wanted to try a local beach. Located a few km from the 440, plenty of parking and very clean facilities. Beach was groomed nicely.

This park is an absolute gem, a true oasis of tranquility and natural beauty. From the moment I stepped foot in the park, I was greeted by a sense of serenity that instantly put me at ease. The lush greenery and well-maintained landscaping throughout the park create a picturesque setting for leisurely strolls or picnics with family and friends. The variety of flora and fauna is truly impressive, making it a paradise for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts alike. The sight of colorful birds and butterflies flitting about added an enchanting touch to the whole experience. Wolfe's Pond Park offers an array of recreational activities that cater to everyone's interests.

I liked it. Don't know if they do it every Friday there but that Friday we went to see a "Movie under the stars!" They were having a free showing of WW84, unfortunately the showing got cancelled but the trip was still worth it. It was a beautiful full moon and started to see the fireworks at Coney Island. I love the woods and this spot gives a nice combo of both. A nice hike or a beach stroll. Great for picnics!

One of the best parks on the island. This place has so much to offer. Playground, beach (lots of clay mixed with the sand, don't wear white) Good track for walking, mini hiking trails, there is a dog park. Let's see there is a field hockey rink, sprinklers for kids in the summertime. Lots of open areas for sports. There is an area to bbq, but I think you need a permit.

Love this park very much. A great place where parking is available, you can spend time with your loved ones or friends and enjoy a beautiful park. The beach is very chill too and the water seems clean.

Went there on May 27th. It was very nice. Only issue we had was with security. They came over to complain to tell us where couldn't swim even though there were kids and adults swimming in that same area. We didn't swim at all. Then she had issues with the music. A lot of people were enjoying the music and dancing. So we lowered the volume and just played catch. Security kept looking at us every chance they got. I don't know if it's because we were black and we're expecting us to act wild. So we stayed quiet and just enjoyed our music at a lower volume and watch the movement of the water. Besides that it was good. Weather was warm and cooled down eventually, we were there for about 8 hours. Watched a little bit of the sunset and went back home.

Water is so still and beautiful and plenty of parking as well. Watch out for great wildlife especially in winter with so many weird ducks migrating. However bit of loose trash on the beach making the walk less fun.

Beautiful park with an ocean on one side and a lake on the other. My daughter likes to jug here, but in some spots the pavement is not even. Risk for a sprained ankle if not careful. Plenty of parking here.

The swans in the pond at Wolfes Pond Park. You have the trees the greenery the grass and woods and then the view of the water (bay/ocean) looking out to Sandy Hook. Best of both worlds...though prefer sitting on the elevated lawn looking over 'beach'. Great place for stroll or picnic. Plenty of clean bathrooms too.

It is nice out here but the people who has dogs are kinda careless to take around the play ground where little kids are. So selfish not to be mindful for the people who aren’t dog people smh.

Nice hiking trails. Plenty to do. Basketball courts, hockey rink and beach front. A couple of ponds with swans

Well kept, very nice trails, walkways and nicely kept beach area. One of my favorite sea glass hunting places. Plenty of shaded benches and benches along the walkway. The only thing I miss is that it would be nice for some benches near the lake. Otherwise, a good place to get a relaxing walk.

Wolfe’s Pond Park is a nice getaway right off Hylan Blvd. The beach is filled with rocks but it’s clean. Lifeguards are on the beach during the summer season. The park section is cool and relaxing in the summer. People are friendly and there is plenty of parking. Is this the Jersey shore? No. But it is a great place to quickly get to the water and nature. If you need a quick recharge outside, this is worth a visit!

Spacious and clean, not too crowded on a July Saturday afternoon. We put a blanket on the grass rather than sitting on the rocky beach. Nice trees!
