Beach 9th Street Playground

Park Playground

👍👍 I love this beach the park can use a great deal of improvement. If you go further up the parks for kids are nicer. People often mention beach, park, walk,

Pretty beach-side park, clean and patrolled by police. includes a skate park ad play ground. Beautiful ocean views and promenade and seating yards from the beach and surf. There aee restrooms in the park.City buses 1 block away. Only one drawback, there is no place to buy a snack or a drink unless you walk up several blocks, so bring food and drink with you.

I went for a walk this afternoon on the board walk. It was good to get out and get some exercise. Because it was cool outside, there was only a few people walking on the board walk. So there was no concerns about covid atleast for today. It really felt good to get some fresh air and steps in. I usually go for my walk 🚶‍♂️ here especially as the place gets warmer. There is something special about hearing the sounds of the water and seeing people enjoying the scenery. I have been walking here since I was a teenager.

Beach 9 is a great place to go. The beach is never crowded and the boardwalk is a great place to walk, run, or ride bike. I enjoy playing racquetball on their courts. The beach and boardwalk is clean.

Well, things have changed from what it was. And still changing. It has changed a little from this pic. They are putting new and rebuilding older jetties. Don't understand what took so long to figure that out? But about a block or so is closed, because of storage of the boulders until they do what they do. Check some of my current Pic's and Videos. Well, parking is still limited especially in the summer and tickets run deep! They camp out in the area in the summer just to ticket you. 10/16/2022- The Pics that I have recently added are along Bch 9th to Bch 40th. The pic's shows the extention of sand that has been added in the past month and what they are setting up to do. I don't have a clue on what the next step maybe? I've seen past replishment 's done. But they're doing something differently now. I guess we will just have to wait and see the outcome of it.

2 parking lots on a smaller side, clean restrooms. You can park and ride the boardwalk for miles.

Nice playground with swings slides and space to run around. Just a few steps from the beach. Photos taken on a rainy day.

This was our first time of many and it was okay. It was cold, so we didn’t do much as it was also empty with no kids for our kid to play along with

This my favorite beach for the last two years! Is quite, peaceful and not too many ppl. Is very clean, free parking on the lot and parking on the street that’s when you arrive early btw 9:30am till 11:30am. There is a bathroom near by. You can watch the boats, jet ski, and kayaks go by. The water is very shallow no waves at this end. The only thing I dislike is the feeling on my feet when I try to go in the deeper the water feels mushy lol.

Nice spot. No waves. No amenities. Free clams! But you have to pick them yourself.

Right now they are doing construction on the beach however we didn't allow that to stop us from walking along the boardwalk, it was barely any foot traffic and felt like our private island.....
